Full Day Shore Excursion To Florence And Pisa From Livorno With Tasting

Omi was so friendly and knowledgeable. Kept things simple but interesting and informative. Mr. R our driver did a great job.

Full disclosure- this is actually a review of the version of this tour without the "tasting"- the " LOW-COST TRANSFER FROM THE PORT OF LIVORNO TO FLORENCE" tour. First of all, i never write reviews, and had very low expectations of this tour, but assumed it would get us round trip from our cruise ship to Florence for 39 euros vs. the $220 the cruise ship wanted to charge us round trip to Florence. We assumed it woudl be a bus ride and we would just be let off the bus and be on our own to figure out what to see, how to get around,etc. Our guide, Nacho was amazing. He (his wife really) personalized maps for us highlighting the things that were realistic to see in our time in Florence and spent most of the time of the 90 minute bus ride giving us valuable information about how to make the best of our time, what was viable to see and what wasn't. Once we got to Florence he walked us down to the old town area and made sure all of our quesions were answered and we were comfortable with our plans before he let us wander out into the city. He created a whatsap group for the tour where he sent gps coordinates for important sites, resturant recomendations, where to find restrooms as well as coordinates for us easily to be able to find our way back to the meeting area when our time was up. It was a great experience and we couldn't have asked for a better guide or information to set us up for a successful day in Florence.

We had a wonderful tour of Florence with Ignacio tour guide and driver Rossano. They were friendly, knowledgeable and made the city’s history come alive, while keeping the tour engaging and easy to follow. We especially enjoyed the food tasting, which was a real highlight of the trip. The pace was just right, and Igancio tour guide was happy to answer our questions and share helpful local tips. We were particularly impressed with the map they provided; it was highlighted with various routes to the landmarks, including timings for each walk and suggested durations for each site to ensure we saw everything. It was also incredibly useful that they shared restaurant recommendations via WhatsApp, which made it easy to stay in touch and get advice throughout our visit. We’d happily recommend them to anyone visiting Florence.

Ignacio was one of the best guides/coordinators we have ever had. Highly reccomend him. Very knowledgeable, personable, excellent English and patient with our group. Some complaints from the stragglers/slower walkers but he always stopped to let everyone catch up.

Today, we had the pleasure of exploring Pisa and Florence with Arianna. She and our bus driver made this trip a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience. With their warmth, dedication, and cheerful attitude, they made sure we had an absolutely fantastic day. The only part we didn't enjoy at all was the tasting experience. To us, it felt more like a sales presentation, which we even had to pay extra for. However, it was an optional activity, so we could have simply chosen not to book it. On the bright side, we did bring home some delicious pistachio cream! If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely book another tour with you! Omi was an excellent guide! Full of information, and managed our large crowd beautifully.

Alessia was amazing! Our tour group consisted of Spanish and English tourists. Alessia would speak in one language and then repeat the lengthy description/instructions in the other language. She was very clear on meeting locations and times. She gave an excellent overview of Florence and Pisa prior to the stops. In addition, she used WhatsApp to send maps, suggestions, costs and most importantly — where to find restrooms, In Pisa, she arranged, and gave us the option of taking a trolly from the bus parking to the Pisa site — well worth the 5 euro! Finally, we was able to arrange with the port to allow the bus to take us directly to the ship. The driver Rossano was courteous, prompt and very helpful with getting on and off the bus. We had one tourist who used a scooter and the drive was very helpful loading and unloading. I highly recommend Alessia and Rossano!

Our tour guide Omi had all the facts at her fingertips - including great locations for gelato and lunch, making sure everything ran smoothly. Rossano, our driver, made the journey very smooth and was very helpful in ensuring we had priority seating with my husbands mobility scooter

We went on this tour in October 2026 while at port on the Norwegian Epic. Luca and Ignacio were our guide and they were fantastic. It was a large group but very well ranl. The tour was great. They were informative and made sure we saw great things at the different stops. It was easy to navigate from the cruise port terminal and that was fantastic. They were very aware of the time we needed to be back to the ship so it was nice to not have to worry about that. Great tour, highly recommend.

A great experience for first timers to Florence and Pisa. Our tour hosted by Luca and Ignacio was amazing. The tour was a full day (8 hours). Lots of time in Florence with local tasting. In Pisa we had time to explore and take lots of photos around. The driver Luca was amazing as well!

A great tour that gave us a lot of time both in Florence and Pisa. The tasting was a nice little addition to the tour. Our guides Luca and Ignacio were knowledgeable, fun, and able to point out personal places based on want you wanted to see. It was a great tour for first timers in both cities.

Wonderful tour of Florence and Pisa. Just wish we had more time in Florence. Taking the shuttle to the meeting place was easy and tour guides were terrific. They even took us all back to the ship after the tour instead of having to take the shuttle back.

Due to weather NCL docked at different port. We were charged extra money for trip with no option for refund if we canceled by Viator. This wasn't fair to us who had nothing to do with the last minute change. I felt a little rushed and did not get a chance to shop as much as I wanted to or do as much tasting as expected because we had to travel further due to the port switch. However, our guide Omi made up for this inconvenience with her enthusiasm, positivity, attentiveness, and personable disposition. Because of her, the trip ended on a good note for me. Our driver Giancarlo was more than efficient in getting us to and from our destination safely.

We were very lucky to have Omi as our guide and Beppe as our driver today. They helped to make it a really good trip. Omi was very approachable and friendly and gave us great information to help us enjoy the trip even more. I would definitely recommend them.

We cd Ellen’s day excursions seeing all the main sights in Florence and Pisa. Omi the tour guide and Pepe the driver were brilliant throughout the day. Lots of great recommendations especially the Focaccia sandwich shop in Florence. Omi gave us excellent instructions on walking routes to take around Florence to ensure we saw the best sights in the time available and was always in hand for any questions. Although the tastings were quite small it was still enjoyable and gave us a taste of local produce with an opportunity to explore lots of great places to purchase food if desired. Highly recommend the trip especially if you get Omi and Pepe.

Ignacio was unbelievably superbly and fantastically wonderful. I don’t think he could’ve done a better job. He kept everybody on time and together and gave us tons of information along the way. He kept us going at a reasonably good pace, even though some of the older folks complained about how fast we were walking. I thought it was just right. He would pause at various times to let the group get caught back up.

Our driver was Renaldo and our guide was Ignacio (Nacho). We were booked for the 9:30am day trip to Florence and pisa but we arrived early and asked Nacho if we could take the earlier 8:15am tour (so that we would not miss the ships departure). He texted the company, and thanks to them, we were given the go ahead. That helped us keep dry as well from the afternoon rain. We had a great time and we couldn’t be more pleased with iganacio. I had heard one person complain to Nacho saying “we booked a walking tour not a running tour” but I can assure you that there had been no running and the pace of the walk was consistent with the description on the web site as to what to expect. Nacho handled it well, but personally I would have put the man in his place, but I suppose that is why I was never a tour guide LOL. We had traveled with Viator in Ireland in 2019 on about 4 day trips from Dublin and we were very pleased with our experience, so that is why Viator was the first company I thought of during our port stop in Livorno. We are on the ship for 40 more days and I suspect I will be booking more tours during our upcoming port stops. Cheers

Booked with Italy tours. Pickup was on schedule. The tour started with the museum and seeing the real statue of David. What I did not like was the order of the tour. We started with the museum and we only saw the statue of David and did not have time to see the remaining art exhibit. Since this was a one time entry into the museum, we were not able to go back during our free time before we were picked up for our ride back. There were plenty of art pieces that we would have liked to have more time to see. Total time in the museum was 30 minutes including being in queue for the line and passing through security. If you are looking to see the art in the museums, this would not be the tour for you. As for the best of Florence, our guide Maria was very knowledgeable and within the 1 hour walking tour gave us a good history and where to venture to next on our free time.

Nice transportaion with Cruise ship drop off. The tour was great transportation was easy from the ship to the city and to Florence. Was giving meeting point in Florence and went to the walking to the main highlights. Was able to everything and spent time at the Hard Rock shop. Pisa was amazing and got the bus back and they droped us off at ship

A great shore excursion. Gives s taste of both Florence and Piza. Tour leader, Omi and coach driver, Fanel were informative and got us nack to the ship on time.

OMI was a terrific guide very organized and kind. Pisa was awesome but Florence could skip the tasting. Alot of walking in Florence.

Very good tour leader, OMI is knowledgeable, had great stories on landmarks and has a fun personality. ALDA was our driver and drove safely and got us back to the ship safe and sound. Need more time at Pisa for shopping although we did find some great finds!

A great experience saw a lot in the time we had. Wish we would have had more time in Pisa but people on another ship hadn't get back earlier than us. Omi our guide was fabulous our driver Ada was great getting us everywhere timely.

Our tour guide was Ignacio and driver Ronaldo! Excellent from start to finish! Clear instructions were given to the whole group and it all worked out perfectly! Two really lovely people and wouldn’t hesitate to boo with them again!!

Florence and Pisa tour - Omi was very friendly, helpful and easy to understand.. Excellent guide suited to this job!! Had great people skills , gave practical advice , provided alternative options for wet weather, sent links which were very useful on whats app and would recommend her to others!!! She made our trip enjoyable and maximised our experience with her humour, great tips and bubbly personality!!! Alda - our driver was very pleasant and welcoming.. We really appreciated her dropping us at the port!!! Well done team !!!

Omi and Alda were amazing at driving and showing us Florence and Pisa in only 1 day. Omi was very good at answering any questions we had and extremely clear on directions through the city and where and what time we had to meet up. Alda was a very good driver and got us to the locations on time perfectly.

Omi and Alda did a great job. The only recommendation I would give to the agency is to use the headsets and ear buds so that the guide can be heard when you are in the back of the group as it is moving through the towns.

It was worthy of money. Great trip and tour lady.

Exceptional experience. Despite our cruise having a last minute port change from Livorno due to weather the tour bus still came to meet us at the new port and the excursion went on. Ignacio was a wonderful guide, providing information about Pisa and Florence. He provided detailed maps and information- he went above and beyond. Would highly recommend.

The tour company, Share Emotion, were great, the tour was supposed to begin in Loverno but due to bad weather our ship was diverted to LaSpezia. The company arranged to move the tour almost 100km to accomodate us and were very professional with organizing the logistics. Ignacio was a great tour guide, very informative and funny. The driver Reka was great and the ride was very comfortable. All up 10 out of 10.

We had a fantasic day today, due to our guide Ignacio and driver Reka. Everything ran smoothly from the start to the end. Ignacio had a wealth of knowledge, and was happy to share it. Information was given at great intervals giving you time to absorb the information without stopping you from enjoying the atmosphere and moment . Ignacio seemed to really understand the balance needed for everyone. He made everyone feel extremly comfortable, even allowing questions to be sent to him through whats app, giving you privacy if you needed anything. Ignacio is the best tour guide we have had in a very long time.

Excellent - our tour was originally from Livorno but bad weather prevented us from docking so we went to La Spezia instead. The tour company automatically organised to pick us up at La Spezia which was a huge relief. Tour guide Ignacio was extremely well organised and prepared, knowledgable, humorous, clear with instructions, gave excellent advice for washrooms/restaurants/Gelatarias and ensured everyone was punctual throughout the tour . Also organised for a trolley transfer from Pisa car park to the Leanonh Tower in case of rain. Perfect amount of time in each place. Highly recommended.

We had an excellent experience with Ignacio. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure that we knew where to visit what to do while we’re on our trip! Most important thing for us ownership was forced to do a report tour company, Bayshore without any from us that they were ready in our Newport of Call and we’re waiting for us at our requested time!

OMG … I travel almost 6 months out of the year. I have to say Ignacio (tour guide )and Carmine. (bus driver.) were amazing! If you’re in Livorno or stop by as I did as a cruise passenger, I definitely recommend this tour. Both were very professional and knowledgeable.
