Cinque Terre Private Tour By Minivan And Ferry-boat Shore Excursion From Livorno

We just had the absolute most perfect day in Cinque Terra thanks to our tour hosts, Tommy and Massimo! Massimo was our driver and navigated the Italian roads with elegance and grace- I even slept comfortably the whole way back because the ride was so smooth! Tommy was the best guide ever- he was so informative about everything we were seeing and going to see, extremely communicative so we knew exactly what to expect, and gave us the best recommendations. He also took great pictures! I could not more highly recommend this dynamic duo for anyone looking for the best possible tour in Italy!

We went from Livermore cruise ship port to Cinque Terra with Marta as putt tour guide. What a wonderful experience with a great guide! Definitely worth the cost!

We will talk about this tour visiting a uniquely beautiful UNESCO Heritage site for the rest of our lives. Our tour guide, Vittorio, was engaging and sincerely proud to share these “five lands” with us. We are so glad we made the decision to go here using a tour guide.

The driver Luka, and guide Marta, were great and made this particular tour the highlight of our cruise. Diana at Bellaitalia tours was very accommodating and responsive to all our requests. Price was a bit high but well worth it.

This was a perfect day from start to finish! Our day began with Victorio picking us up from our Viking ship in Livorno. Our first stop was Pisa - he is from there and gave us interesting facts all the way there and pointed out the history to us. He knew all the best spots for pics and took the fun ones of us "holding up" the tower! Next stop was Cinque Terre. Breathtaking! He walked us through the village and pointed out the favorite shops and restaurants. We had time on our own before meeting for the ferry to see the towns from the boat. A nice ride back from Cinque Terre in their very comfortable van. A truly beautiful day and we highly recommend this company and Victorio!

We booked BellaItalia for a private tour of the Cinque Terra. We had two adults and two children. BellaItalia was amazing with communication. Very responsive to emails and connecting with me a few days before the tour. As promised our tour guide, Vittorio, was waiting for us where our ship was docked with a sign. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. Our driver, Mauro, was excellent with getting us to and from the Cinque Terra. Vittorio provided information about the areas we drove through. We visited 4 of the 5 villages. Since our cruise was spending the night in Livorno, we decided not to be rushed and added extra time to the tour. It was about 1.5 drive there and about 2 hours back. Vittorio purchased our boat and train tickets there making it super easy to get from each village. We had plenty of time at each village. There was the option to go swimming, but we didn’t want this because of extra stuff to bring and getting the van dirty. Our favourite village was Monterosso. Each village was picturesque. We got street food, gelato of course and shopped. We absolutely loved this day and can’t wait to return. A BIG thank you to BellaItalia, Vittorio and Mauro!

Castanza our tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the area. We enjoyed it very much. The allotted time in each area was very well planned.

From beginning to end, our tour was excellent. We were greeted by Marta, our guide, and Roberto, our driver. They were punctual and pleasant. During our commute to our destination, Marta told us many interesting facts about what we were passing. We arrived at our destination(s) and she guided us through the day with her knowledge and her friendly demeanor. She gave us ample time to never feel rushed and left us to explore and dine alone. By the end of the day, we felt like we had made a friend!

This was our second time visiting the villages but our first time coming by ferry. We loved it! Our guide was a sweetheart in making sure our 88 year old dad could manage each village we visited. She made great suggestions for unique foods to sample including her favorite gelato shop and flavor. She shared fun stories about each area and things to do from a locals perspective. What a great day!

Cinque Terre was beautiful! Our guide, Luigi, was the best! His English was very good, he was informed on all the villages, and shared his personal recommendations or experiences. Our driver got us there and back safely, handed out water bottles, and was friendly (I regret not remembering his name). We went in November, and did not have to deal with the crowds; however, many shops were closed. We were still able to enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the restaurants that was still open in off-season. I would recommend this tour, specifically with this duo, to anyone!

Private driver and tour guide for full day trip from the cruise ship docked in Livorno to Cinque Terre (4 passengers). What a great day - exactly as planned. Our driver Massimo was waiting for us on the wharf. Massimo was very friendly and a fountain of knowledge. We picked up our tour guide Romina along the way and were dropped off in the first town along the Cinque Terre coast. We spent the day travelling by ferry from town to town. Romina was fantastic - she handled all the ferry ticketing, filled us in on the local knowledge and gave us plenty of free time to immerse ourselves into the local culture. We were met in the last town by our driver Massimo who returned us back to our a ship. A private tour is definitely the way to go. We had a wonderful day with our driver Stefano, and our guide Luca. We found the booking process to be easy and efficient and they were always responsive to my emails. Stefano was waiting in the port o time to pick us up. He did a great job driving approximately 90 minutes to Cinque Terre. He was so friendly and easy to talk to. Luca was waiting on our arrival and did a super job guiding us through 4 of the 5 villages - a lot for one day! He knew the hidden spots and best photo spots. He knew many people in the villages and there were lots of friendly greetings along the way. He managed our train and boat tickets with ease which made it so much easier for us to move about. This is especially important for people who are not confident to do this themselves. We really appreciated a good use of the time to help us see the most that we could in one day. When our time at the villages ended, Stefano was waiting for us to make the drive back to the ship. He even had water bottles waiting in our seats. We are so happy with the whole experience and would definitely recommend BellaItalia for your tours. Grazie!

It wasn’t the greatest weather day, but we had a wonderful visit at 4 of the Cinque Terre towns by ferry. We travelled from Livorno in a comfortable mini van. Timing was always spot on and Luigi made sure we were front of the line on the ferries. It is a very busy tour, but even though it was my 3rd time visiting the towns, so worth it!!! Luigi and his trainee and driver did a fabulous job. Remember to check their “Small Group” shore excursions menu if you’re just a couple. Thank you BellaItalia!

We were on the Norwegian Epic & stopped in Livorno. We were a group of 14, ranging in age from 16 to 80. Emilia & Luigi were our private guides for the day. We had two comfortable minivans. We first went to Pisa to see the tower, and then went to Cinque Terre. It was amazing - well-organized & fun. Emilia handled 5 teenagers with ease! The drivers were great as well. I loved being able to customize it to exactly what we wanted, with their input. The office staff was great as well. We really enjoyed our tour.

Elizabeta gave us a magical day touring the towns of Cinque Terre. Stefano drove us safely from the port up into the mountains. The views were absolutely amazing! We will go back & visit with her every time we find ourselves in Italy!

We pre booked this tour with another 2 couples for our 1 day in Liverno from our Mediterranean Cruise. Our driver Danielle & our guide Rosella were waiting upon our arrival. Rosella was really great. Very friendly, knowledgeable & accommodating. She took care of getting all our train/ferry tickets and showing us the main attractions & pointing us in the direction to explore some on our own. Would definitely recommend this to maximize you time & see the main attractions.

This tour was wonderful! We had an amazing time and we had Sarah was wonderful and gave us enough time at each village. She coordinated all of our visits to the villages by ferry boat and train perfectly. It was an incredible experience!

We visited La Spezia in July of 2017. We arrived via our cruise ship. We decided to book a private tour/car so that we could maximize our short stay in La Spezia. Upon arrival to the cruise port, we were greeted by our guide, Alessandra, and our driver, Amelia. They were both very friendly and welcomed us to their town. Our first stop was Portovenere. We had never visited Portovenere so this was a nice surprise, as Portovenere is a town that we would definitely consider visiting again on a future visit to La Spezia. We didn't spend a lot of time there, and we arrived very early in the morning so many of the stores and restaurants were closed. This was a bummer, as we would have loved to grab a bite to eat and do a little shopping during our visit. After visiting Portovenere, we drove to Cinque Terre, five territories, where we visited 4 of the 5 territories. We visited Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Monterosso and Manarola in this order. The only territory that we didn't visit was Corniglia, because to access Corniglia, you must climb 379 steps. We ate lunch in Monterosso at a place called Il Casello. The view was amazing, but the food wasn't anything to write home about. My friend and I ordered the trofie pasta, which came in a pesto sauce. The trofie pasta is local to this area. My husband ordered the seafood and spaghetti, but it wasn't as flavorful as he had expected. During our visit to Cinque Terre 3 years ago, we ate at another restaurant in Monterosso, and the food was "to die for!" We were disappointed that we tried this restaurant. Although our tour guide and driver were very nice, we recognized that we could have done this entire tour by ourselves by taking the train from La Spezia, for a fraction of the price. We paid $165.00 for three people, and there was nothing, other than transportation, that we received from the tour that we couldn't have accessed on our own. Do your research so that you can inexpensively explore the absolutely stunning Cinque Terre on your own. We love CInque Terre, as this was our second visit. Again, we would just recommend that you tour Cinque Terre own your own.

My husband and I booked a private Cinque Terre tour for one of our days in Tuscany. Our driver and tour guide were incredibly sweet and accommodating. We were picked up at our villa and driven to Riomaggiore where our tour began. Our guide expertly managed us through the other tourists and lines on & off the ferry. She was perfectly balanced between showing us around and also letting us have free time alone to explore. We would have been lost without her and due to her expertise we were able to visit the cities with enough time to soak them each in. Thank you Bella Italia!

Marta was our favorite guide while we were visiting Italy. She would explain the area and point out things of interest then let us have free time to explore on our own. She was so wonderful to each of our fellow passengers. She made time to get to know us and when asked about a particular wine, she actually contacted a friend of hers to get me the information! Our group was small...7 in all which made it so much more enjoyable. The villages are lovely and are best seen from a boat which we were fortunate that the weather was great that day. Thanks Marta!!

<p>We had been to Florence and Pisa in the past and wanted to spend the one day we had in this region seeing Cinque Terre. The tour came with a driver and guide. The only drawback was that our guides english was fair- no-good. We spent a lot of time trying to decipher his english. The tour is fantastic, we saw the 5 towns and finished in PortoVenere. I would suggest dressing light and bringing a bathing suit. The water screams for you to take a dip in PortoVnere with all the locals.</p>
