We had such a lovely time here. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming. Special thanks to Serena, who made this visit happen! She’s amazing — so warm, helpful, and passionate. Thanks to her, we had one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The wines were fantastic, and the local food pairings made it even better. Everything felt thoughtful and authentic. This wasn’t just a tasting — it was something we’ll always remember. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

We had an afternoon’s sensory wine tasting experience at this beautiful vineyard. Irene our guide was lovely. A welcome drink started us off nicely. Then the tour itself. Irene’s knowledge of the wines, grapes, processes and family history blended in effortless storytelling . The wines we sampled were divine!!! We then absolutely had to bring some bottles back home with us. Seemed a shame not to. We were unprepared however, as we hadn’t factored in bringing some yummy Tuscan wines and olive oils back with us during a holiday we flew by plane to. That’s when we met Serena, who was patient and engaging with my besties giddy banter, from sipping lovely wines and grappa haha!. Serena helped us solve our dilemma by guiding us through selecting our wines, shipping to the UK and pricing. The whole experience was first class with friendly staff who obviously love what they do! . No hesitation recommending this authentic wine tasting experience in glorious Tuscany with spectacular landscapes thrown in for extra vibes.
We had a wonderful experience at our wine tasting. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wine was delicious.
An excellent visit which started with a Gin tasting which was unexpected! Our guide was great and explained all about the area, its history, and the family owned business. The wines were excellent and we were given an explanation of the taste, aroma's and style of wines. Overall and excellent visit and value for money.
A really interesting tour of the winery with sample tasing at the end. Very relaxed and informative tour of the vineyard. Very friendly guide with great information. Plenty of time to ask questions and relax over wine tasting.
The guide was great with the history of the winery, the different grapes and the wine tasting. A great experience.
Once we found the winery it was awesome. The guide was exceptional and had family ties to the winery’s founding. The wines we tasted were great and a case is on its way to our home ‘nuff said!
Irene, our most excellent tour guide, provided an amazing tour in English. She started by taking us directly to the vineyards, explained the history, soils, process of growing the grapes, the different types of grapes, then moved into the harvesting, and identified that this is done manually - much as it has been. She mentioned that this particular vineyard is "new" being formed in 1954 but that the grapes used and the process is really much older so she effectively explained the competitive nature of wine, sales, marketing, etc, which we enjoyed to no end. We next moved to the vats and she explained the pressing process (slow so as to not crush everything and make the wine bitter), which explains why these wines taste so smooth. We went into the "cellar" and barrel room where she mentioned how the barrels were purchased new for each run of the years and used for only 3 years total. Next we went to the tasting and had a sample of the wines, which turned out to be the best part. We were able to "guess" (we are not really very strong on wines) - about what the different wines had for nose and we took a sip of several different wines. This tour was well worth the costs associated, the drive out, which was beautiful, and the time spent with Irene as she clearly has a passion for what she does. As an added key note: The family Fuselli is ALSO the family with the great Olive oil - so this trip was G R E A T on a couple of levels.
Wow, what a wonderful and fun tour, the entire winemaking process is explained with passion. We drank some very nice and tasty wines.
Bad. A good winery visit with timely and precise explanations. Negative tasting. 3 wines tasted in 20 minutes without the possibility of re-tasting anything, taking away the tasting glasses during the process. Never happened.
Amazing winery! The visit of the estate and the tasting carried out by the professional and friendly Irene is It was very interesting. The wines tasted, as well as the oil produced by them, were of the highest level.
The visit was instructive thanks to the expertise of our guide, Valeria. Excellent wines, spectacular place and lots of courtesy and professionalism
Really nice experience! It was our first tasting, and we really loved it! Thanks also to Serena who guided us both in the history of the vineyard and in wine tasting. I recommend it to anyone
I visited this company and was impressed not only by the wines but also by the attention in the vineyard and cellar. Very satisfied. I highly recommend the visit and tasting.
We were superbly accompanied and hosted by Valeria during our visit. She was able to guide us competently through all stations and always answered our questions competently and friendly. The subsequent wine tasting we enjoyed very much and distinguishes the high quality of the winery. Thank you very much 👍🇨🇭👍 Silvio & Barbara
Beautiful and well-kept cellar. Our Guide, Serena, was very hospitable and exhaustive. Excellent wines. We were really pleased.
Beautiful experience, I found love, care, passion, from growing the vineyard, in the most ecological way possible, to making wine. I was pleasantly surprised for a simple but delicious oil, with an indescribable taste. Congratulations.
Rondleiding in combinatie met wijn proeven was erg leuk, werd mooi gedaan. En de wijnen waren heerlijk!
Tutta la spiegazione della storia della cantina e la degustazione dei vini è stata spiegata in modo impeccabile.
With my best friend we arrived about the time, a little late as good Argentines.. and Paola organized the tour very lovingly. We taste the best wines of the Winery. If you love red wines this experience is highly recommended
As our first tasting experience in a cellar we feel fully satisfied. We were welcomed and guided throughout the tasting by a very young, very competent and above all passionate girl who made us love both the history and the visit. A thousand thanks Anely and Laura
The visit was guided by competent and very friendly people, the wines were explained to perfection, a family atmosphere, I highly recommend it. Obviously quality wines
Very friendly welcome, we immediately felt at ease. The girl who accompanied us on the visit is knowledgeable, passionate and extremely kind. Absolutely recommended visit.
E' stata un'esperienza molto interessante. Ragazze molto preparate e competenti. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Lo consiglio vivamente.
Very interesting visit, it allows you to understand how a small company can work in a sustainable and at the same time technologically advanced way. Not least the several excellent wine proposals. Congratulations!
Paola was perfect in guiding the visit and the subsequent tasting with care, passion and competence, making you discover the history of this company and the particularities of each wine tasted. Truly an experience to recommend!
Nice experience in Bolgheri. Visit of the winery and sensory tasting recommended for those nearby. We tasted 3 very good wines accompanying them with bruschetta and oil (good too!). Noteworthy and unexpected is the ‘Papeo’, a white wine made as if it were a red! Visit of the vineyard and cellar short but interesting. Just a note: I would avoid highlighting so excessively the ‘lack of chemistry’ in the products because yes gives it an extremely negative and fundamentally unfounded and wrong meaning... they could better specify the attention they pay to the care of the vineyard and the product by not saying scientific inaccuracies. You can improve customer care with small measures (eg a glass of water during the tasting and napkins available). Sore note: the prices of wines in the cellar are slightly higher than outside (eg Papeo 22 € versus Papeo at 20 € in the wine shop in Bolgheri, Aldone 62 € in the estate vs. 60€ wine shop Bolgheri). Apart from the above, in any case it is a must-see in Bolgheri!
The visit to the cellar was a very interesting experience, not boring at all, the wines tasted were great. This relatively young and certainly small reality compared to others has nothing to envy to the most renowned colleagues in the area. Beautiful winery, you can breathe the care and passion that the many young people who work here put into their work.
Super recommended experience for those in the area. We were greeted by Serena who accompanied us on this tour from the vineyards through the cellars to the veranda where we tasted 3 different types of wine accompanied by bruschetta seasoned with oil of their production. The peculiarity of this type of tour that makes it different from the others is the opportunity to have fun in searching for the scents inside the wine through the help of some essences. Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful place, in by the professionalism and passion of those who guided us. Experience not to be missed!
Very pleasant experience in a place worth a visit! After walking through the small but cute village, we went to the company a few minutes early and we were welcomed in a relaxing green space in front of the tasting room. Very punctual we had a brief introduction on the history of the company and the wine production process, to then move on to the tasting of 3 different wines, accompanied by some bruschetta with oil also from the company. With the help of some essences we tried to find the notes within these. It was really nice, different from the common tasting. Recommended!
You cannot describe in words the passion and love that you breathe in this family-run company. It was an exciting experience that we highly recommend. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The wines are excellent and can be enjoyed at 360 degrees; therefore not only with the nose and mouth, but also with the heart because you learn about the anecdotes, attempts and sacrifices that are hidden in each wine that is proposed. Special thanks to the dear and competent Serena who even recommended a good wine from our region (South of Switzerland) that we were not even aware of :)
The estate is surrounded by the beautiful vineyard of the winery itself. Loco della tasting boasts a beautiful outdoor garden and a very nice and elegant interior. The guide (Serena) who accompanied us during the experience was very helpful and convivial, as well as friendly. We tasted 3 very good and structured wines. We recommend the experience to all wine lovers!
We stayed at Terre del Marchesato for a sensory tasting, me, my husband and our 3-year-old daughter. We had a great time, Paola accompanied us on a beautiful journey through the vineyard, the cellar and the tasting, telling us the history of the company and illustrating the winemaking techniques. The tasting of the 3 wines accompanied by schiaccia Toscana was extremely pleasant and surrounded by explanations and chats with the very prepared Paola. I highly recommend the visit even with children.
Terre del Marchesato to be included surely among the great realities of Bolgheri wineries! Yesterday afternoon I took a couple of Australian relatives for a sensory tasting at the Terre del Marquisato made in English. Professionalism, courtesy and sympathy are the main features with which Serena, one of the collaborators of the Winery, welcomed us. He led us through the rows, explaining the history of the Fuselli family, owners of the lands, and the passion they put into carrying on, in a healthy and impeccable way, the vineyards. Then the visit of the cellar and the barrel cellar, where cleanliness and technology reign and a lot of knowledge. Finally the tasting. Serena led us into their world and we entered perfectly, tasting and appreciating excellent wines, white and red. I must publicly thank the Fuselli Family for their commitment, ability and professionalism. Also a sincere thanks to Serena, also from Australian relatives, who greatly appreciated her explanations in English and her skill. Definitely recommend!
Excellent visit, we were received as “popes”, Serena is extremely friendly and super professional, It gave us the opportunity to taste the olive oil of the estate, a killing!!!! The estate is beautiful we could eat on the floor... The wines are excellent without the pretension of other more famous areas, but just as good. Thank you again Serena for her wonderful memories
We wanted to try this wine tasting, and we were impressed not only by the atmosphere and the landscape of nature, but also and above all by the professionalism and Welcoming of the girl who followed us during the experience. Initially, the three types of wine chosen for tasting are explained and, subsequently, leave you in peace to experience olfactory sensations and flavors on the palate, with the help of the vials of aromas made available. We enjoyed the feeling of freedom in being able to live this experience, in a totally relaxing atmosphere. Forward their wines are really interesting and full of flavors, absolutely worth trying! Anti-covid rules have been respected and this helps you feel more comfortable and enjoy the experience.
A nice practical experience on tasting with the possibility to check the perceived scents through the comparison with the perfumes enclosed in the box with 88 bottles. The wine proposed for my tasting was presented in an optimal way and also the accompanying accompaniments were pleasantly appreciated. Experience that I will certainly repeat, but in company
Very good bread and new oil, simple and clear information, staff at hand! Gift for a birthday... absolutely to be redone
Excellent Welcoming and very precise explanations about the wines of the estate. Thank you to Serena for this great tasting, the best we did in Tuscany.
Wine lovers of tastings we have tried many. This in particular as well as being carried out in a dream setting, attention to detail and surrounded by greenery; it was particularly illuminating. Associating all the smells of wine with particular aromas sometimes even disgusting as horse sweat was fun and instructive. We bought the excellent Tar Abuse and certainly when we happen again in these parts we will try another tasting experience among the many that make available.
Beautiful experience in this small winery in the heart of Tuscany. Friendly and qualified staff accompanied us in the tasting making us understand their wines even though we are not experts! Last but not least, delicious wine!
Visit made on 11 September 2020. It was very interesting and instructive to recommend it especially to those like us who are not wine experts. During this experience, the world of sensations perceived when tasting a wine was explained in a simple and understandable way. During the tour they make you taste their excellent wines making you appreciate in particular the olfactory scents leading you to search for what each of us feels in the wine. Excellent wines with excellent value for money.
A new and pleasant experience, well followed and told. A start for anyone curious about the meaning behind a simple glass of wine.
My partner and I are not wine experts but only passionate drinkers who want to approach the world of tasting at 360 °. We therefore chose the sensory tasting and we had a great time trying to find in each of the 3 glasses the olfactory notes, accompanied by a competent guide, prepared and certainly very passionate about wine! At the end of this wonderful experience we also asked to taste their oil (which we also bought as very good) and we were prepared croutons with oil and Tuscan bread. I do not write reviews frequently but I must say that for the positive memory we bring home it deserves 5 stars.
