Bolgheri: Premium Wine Tasting With Winery Tour

We were there Sept 2024. We got lost so we're running late but they were kind enough to accommodate us for the next time slot. Fantastic wines, great guide. Ended up shipping 18 bottles home! Really enjoyed the experience.

This was a small private tour and tasting. They accommodated both Italian and English and it was very relaxing and the wines were amazing.

Victoria, our host, was very knowledgeable regarding the vineyards and the wine that they produce. We really enjoyed this wine tasting and the quality of the wine! I highly recommend this tour with Victoria.

From the vines to the fermentation in the steel tanks to the storage in oak casks, the tour of the winery is very informative and our guide was very attentive. I can totally recommend the premium wine sampling with each of the 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot, all delicious. All in all very good value for money but be advised you will be tempted to take some wine home!

We were running late and they were very accommodating by letting us attend the next session. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the 4 wines we tasted were very good. We really enjoyed the experience!

Absolutely brilliant wine tour/tasting. Staff were incredible, especially Serena! The wine was delicious, tour was informative, vineyard itself is stunning. Excellent guide Serena, knowledgeable and friendly, answering any and all questions. Beautiful vineyard and atmosphere. Great wines and home made olive oil. We enjoyed our tasting SO much! Not only were we made to feel welcomed by Irena, but she did a great job of explaining to a large group (in English and Italian) about the winery and the wine. Our tasting (one classic and one superior) was fantastic - we enjoyed every single wine and we can’t wait to get back to the US to purchase some. When we left the winery, we tasted some other high end wines at an Enoteca in Bolgheri and decided that we liked #TerreDelMarchesato @TerreDelMarchesato better than anything else. Thank you for making our trip worthwhile!

This was a truly amazing experience. We had a very informative tour of the winery with the arborist who showed such passion for his work. The wines were fantastic and we had a food pairing as well that was delicious! Very worth the visit.

Very good value for money. The tour started on time, we were shown the wineries and the cellar, all along with some very effective explanations. And then on to a very welcoming room with everything ready for our wine tasting (and some yummy bread with locally produced olive oil). Paola and Serena were great hosts (and speak great English) and clearly take pride in their job and are very knowledgeable. Their passion for what they do shone through Would highly recommend to somebody who is interested in getting a wine tasting experience. Bolgheri village is just 10 minutes away and so the visit can be combined with some sightseeing. We plan to come back and take some friends and visitors along. Bravissime, Serena e Paola!

We had an excellent tour of the winery, led by Paula, a very knowledgeable guide. The grounds are beautiful, the wine is fantastic, as was the olive oil and brandy. We shipped a mixed case of wine as well as olive oil, back to the US and felt that the prices for all were very reasonable. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in Bolgheri as there is plenty to do in the area.

This a beautiful and impeccably adorned winery. Our gyide, Paola, was excellent. However, for a tour and four sips of wine, I thought it was overpriced.

This was our first visit of a winery in Tuscany. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived with 30 minutes delay due to some traffic issues, however they welcomed us and made sure we do not miss any single minute of experience. We were impressed with the whole place, the building, the gardens and the vineyard. Serena was very good in explaining and providing so many details about the wine and the place. The wine...oh the wine. We bought 4 bottles of wine thinking that we should not rush into this since we have other wineries to visit. After finishing the tour I felt bad that I did not buy more bottles.

What a great experience it was! We had a tour in English with Serena, she described everything with details, she was in no rush, chatting and telling stories, offered us multiple wines to taste and even recommended sightseeing spots around Tuscany writing all the notes for us so we won't forget. Very warm welcome, we strongly recommend it! We bought few bottles too to bring back lovely memories when we will be back in rainy UK! Ciao, grazie! We will be back!

The tour was amazing and Paola was a great tour guide she was very knowledgeable and and easy to understand. The whole experience was great I would definitely recommend the premium winery tour and we will be coming back.

We arrived without a reservation on Sunday afternoon. We were allowed to have a tour and treating and our guides welcomed us. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were very generous with the Premium wines for us. I was not familiar with their wines and learned a lot. They were very special.

A wonderful family winery, superbly hosted by Serena. The wines are sublime each with its own character what shines through is the passion of the owners and staff....very professional, relaxed tasteful, enjoyable experience. We will return and we will continue to enjoy Terre del Marchesato wines.

We had such a great experience at Terre del Marchesato. Sara and the team were super welcoming, explained the entire wine process and the history of this amazing vineyard. The testing was mind boggling. We had 3 amazing type of wines from their production along with bread and their olive oil (another insanely good product) and Sara was such a pleasant "wine guide". We ended up buying their wine (I got it shipped back home for free so that I didn't have to carry with me for the rest of the trip). All in all a 5 stars experience and I'm definitely coming back again!

We took the winery tour with a tasting. The description of the wines, from the vine to the bottle, is very technical, detailed, and instructive. They keep the barriques in a vault like the best "caves" of our French cousins, including Margaux and Romanée Conti... there are few places in Bolgheri at this level, only the most renowned ones and not for all wines. I have been a happy customer for years and I can only recommend this winery, which has an excellent price-quality ratio... Many thanks to Serena

Valeria explained everything very well to us on the tour and also took our wishes into account during the tasting.

Super welcome, but above all products really not to be missed, even more for those who love to try monovarietals

Simply excellent experience at Terre del Marchesato winery, in the heart of Bolgheri: everything is taken care of in every detail and the level is very high in every respect. Irene, the guide, was super kind, prepared and really competent even from a technical point of view, able to explain with clarity and passion the work in the vineyard and in the cellar, making the visit engaging and very interesting. I also speak as a sommelier and wine professional, and I can say that the tasting was superb, with premium wines of great personality, elegant, deep and authentic expression of the territory. You can clearly feel the hand of a very prepared oenologist, who uses winemaking techniques with great skill and respect for the raw material. An experience of the highest level, highly recommended for those seeking quality, professionalism and great wines. Very good!

We had a tasting of four single-varietal wines. The experience begins with a wonderful guide (in our case Serena) who accompanied us in the middle of the vineyard, made us "feel" the bunches, the difference of the vines. He told us the history of the territory and the company, the anecdotes that remain in your heart... It made us "feel" the work and the daily passion that every person who collaborates with the company puts into the work, from sampling to harvesting, to checking during fermentation and winemaking. He accompanied us to the places (wonderful barricade) to the table to taste. Four wonderful single-varietal wines and for each he was able to transport us in the scents, flavors and sensations. Highly recommended. In addition to the evident quality of the wines, the experience is ten and praise. Thank you.

Excellent tasting, we chose the "premium" route with the addition of a glass , a better wine than the other. Beautiful experience, from the vineyards, to the cellar, to the tasting room. Very competent and helpful staff.

Walk in the vineyard to discover forms of farming, pruning, soil composition and climate. Detailed explanation on the truncated-conical steel barrels and wooden barrels in the cellar at controlled temperature. Interesting premium tasting although with young wines. Valeria was the added value to this experience. Cute, kind and nice, well prepared and attentive to every need. Recommended!!!!

BELLISSIMO! It was just me and my wife, maybe this also made the experience unforgettable and fascinating. Completely in contact with nature. Serena, very professional and prepared, welcomed us and accompanied us to the vineyard, explaining the terrain and the history of “Terre del Marchesato”, then we visited the cellar to conclude with a top tasting. 5 wines + gin and tonic (with gin of own production), bruschetta with oil and panettone in Easter and non-Christmas version:):). I recommend this experience to everyone.

We were there in 2019, we sent friends, we went back with two others. The reason is as simple as it is important: you come back because you feel good! We did tastings everywhere in Bolgheri, in Tuscany and overseas, in areas renowned all over the world .. but if I chose to return here it is because the welcome, the kindness, the pleasure of telling their wines really makes a big DIFFERENCE. Serena is a great professional, she transmits passion and love for the company where she works, and even if the landscape frame wins hands down, she makes a significant contribution. I would recommend it to anyone: those who are experts and those who are not. Tasting is an experience, and if you are guided with professionalism it will still be educational and enriching. The wines are great, there is little to review, but if someone appreciates and dwells on the value of people, then find the square! Thank you Serena, keep it up!

Pleasant tour, similar to other wineries. Young winery, with clear and precise ideas with a French imprint. Professional and helpful staff, quality wines. One suggestion , even if the tour was pleasant , you could have the choice of being able to do only the tasting. For the rest only great compliments

Tour followed by 4 adults and 4 (young) children. A fantastic experience where everything was told in excellent English with great patience. Also at the tasting the children were taken into account so we could follow everything well. A beautiful family business where beautiful wines are made with extreme care!

The tour and information were interesting. Tasting for €25: only 1 white wine and two red wines. Very stingy poured, for which we had paid €25. You had to pay extra for the other wines for tasting We had expected more, it was disappointing, we didn't buy anything because the wine wasn't to our taste.

We went to the Terre del Marchesato winery for the premium tasting. I express a subjective opinion after my experience. The four red wines are not up to par with the other wines from the renowned and very famous area of origin. Of the wines tasted, the only one that came close to the wines of the area was the Aldone. Instead, we pleasantly discovered the white Papeo. Having seen several wineries throughout Tuscany and also outside the region, I personally won't go into technicalities (because on such occasions I don't think it appropriate), but I would like to underline that in a visit to a winery you cannot first taste the wines and then proceed to the tour of the company and the cellar
