Itinerary
On the Zimbabwean side, guests enjoy the most panoramic and extensive views of Victoria Falls, as about 75% of the falls can be seen from this side. The tour takes you along a network of rainforest paths with multiple viewpoints, each offering a different perspective of the falls. Highlights include: Devil’s Cataract – the westernmost point of the falls, where the water rushes dramatically into a deep chasm. Main Falls Viewpoint – the largest curtain of falling water, creating thunderous sounds and constant mist. Rainbow Falls – the highest drop of Victoria Falls, often forming vibrant rainbows in the spray. Eastern Cataract – stunning views of the gorge and the Zambezi River downstream. Rainforest Walk – a unique ecosystem sustained by the constant spray, home to exotic trees, colorful birds, and playful monkeys. Wildlife Encounters – baboons and vervet monkeys are commonly seen along the trails, along with bird species like hornbills and sunbirds.
The Zambian side of Victoria Falls offers a closer and more intimate experience of the natural wonder. While it showcases about 25% of the falls, it provides thrilling viewpoints where guests can truly feel the power of the Zambezi River. Highlights include: Knife-Edge Bridge – one of the most dramatic viewpoints, where you may walk through mist and rainbows with the falls thundering just meters away. Boiling Pot – a viewpoint at the bottom of the gorge, where the Zambezi River swirls into a massive whirlpool. Main Falls View – a front-row seat to one of the most powerful sections of the waterfall. Seasonal Experiences – during high water (Feb–May), expect dramatic spray and roaring water; in low water (Sept–Dec), you can see the underlying rock formations and sometimes walk across parts of the river. Livingstone Island (optional, extra cost) – Flora & Fauna – unique rainforest vegetation fed by the spray, plus sightings of vervet monkeys, baboons, and colorful birds.

We used Viator for 6 different events in 3 weeks. This one was a disaster. Transportation was late. Were we not i formed about needing our passports or needing a visa. We had to run back and get our passports. One person pick us up who took us to another person, who handed us off to another person. Due to the additional cost we only completed the tour on the Vic falls side and not the Zambian side since we already had to pay an additional $58 per person for the park fees. This was at the end of our vacation and just put a damper on it. Our tour guide provided knowledge but was not i reactive other than offering to take a photo. We paid for the full experience of a 5 out tour and only completed 2 hours.
Seeing Victoria Falls from both the Zimbabwe and Zambia sides was truly amazing. Our guide, Isaac was knowledgeable and very professional. The only caution that I would give to anyone taking this tour is that it involves a lot of walking, some of it up and down relatively steep hills.
This is an amazing way to see the falls from both sides. Having a guided tour means that you are supported across both borders which speeds up process and guides knowledge gives you so much about the Flaura and fauna as well as history about the land, the people and the falls. Seeing from both sides gives you different perspective. From Zambia you can stand by the Zambezi and see how it flows into the falls and can see it much closer up. The Zimbabwe side is bigger and more spectacular. Be warned though it is expensive on the Zimbabwe side with visa and entry fee to park twice the price of the Zambia side. We loved it and it was a full day event that gave us loads
We had great views of the Falls from both sides and enjoyed our knowledgeable guide. We definitely recommend seeing the Falls from both countries, and this trip allowed for seamless crossing of the border.
This was an excellent way to experience the Falls from both sides. The spiel is true - if you book this, your guide is just for your party. There were two of us and Isaac zipped us through border control, explained the history, geology and what’s next for the Falls, and gave fabulous insight into the animals and birds we encountered. I’d recommend bringing/hiring a LONG raincoat if you don’t enjoy a good drenching.
This was a fantastic experience! Mannex and Issac were exceptional tour guides—knowledgeable, personable, and full of great energy. 😎 One of the things I appreciated most was the relaxed pace of the tour. We never felt rushed, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable and allowed us to fully take in everything along the way. I would definitely book this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, memorable, and well-organized experience!
Amazing experience visiting Victoria Falls. 10 minute drive from our hotel to Victoria Falls. We first crossed the Victoria Falls Bridge into the border of Zimbabwe where we received our visa. After entering into Zimbabwe, we were able to view the breathtaking Zimbabwe side of the Victoria Falls. Then I entered the Zambia side which was very exciting as I had crossed the Knife Edge Bridge. Our driver and tour guide were amazing and very helpful and assisted us through the falls safely.
Thank You Mannex, for making yout trip unforgettable. We loved everything, especially the tour guide with Isaac ...Great guide and host!
Wonderful views of the falls from both sides of the river. My guide knew which viewpoints would have the best views and the best order to visit them.
Wonderful! Great guides! Amazing views. Lots of spray! Kind guides Mannex and Isaac are the best! Thanks!
Unforgettable visit to the Victoria Falls with a professional guide
It was excellent, everything when smoothly from start to finish and I had a great time and I would definitely recommend it LP
Excellent experience with Guide Isaac. He was very knowledgeable about the Falls and their history. He also navigated me through the Border crossings with ease as I did both the Zambian side and the Zimbabwean side both of which are a must.
Our operator Mannex was great. Prompt picks and well informed commentary. At Victoria Fall - Zimbabwe side - our local guide Shelton was also really full of information and interested in our travels. A great day!
The tour was amazing, the guide was accomodative given that we had a language barrier of English and Spanish, he made provision for ear phones for translation so we could understand each other, loved to see the wonders of God's creation. The company is professional and courteous with their travelers. Would recommend them in this area of Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Great tour, the guide Isaac was incredibly friendly and has patiently answered all my many questions. The border crossing was very smooth and having a guide ensures everything goes much faster. It was also great to have someone guiding me through the many trails so I was sure I didn't miss any nice viewing points. The falls are amazing but be prepared to pay the astronomical fee of $58 per person to enter the Zimbabwean side!
Reliable pick up. Beautiful falls and tour on each side. Tour guide shared interesting information. There were some annoyances like crossing the border wasnt totally seamless but the tour guide made it easy. The tour was shorter than stated.
Great private tour on the Zambian side of the falls. The tour was adjusted to my needs. Great guide and driver. Communication via the app very smooth. Pick up on time.
If you appreciate getting astonished by breathtakingly spectacular views, accompanied by the orchestra of nature, this is a must do activity. The tour provides full spectrum of the gorgeous Victoria Falls, surrounded by opulent natural rainforest with its inhabitants. Be ready for some good walking, it is worth every minute! Livingstone museum in the end was a wonderful touch, sharing area-specific information about local nature and history.
