Mike and Nana at Dewclaw were great. Good communication and flexibility due to changes in weather. We were the only people on the tour and were able to spend about 20 minutes with 2 of the rhinos. The Rhino Rangers answered all our questions and were very helpful. After the time with the rhinos we went on a drive around the Mosi ao Tunya park to see other animals. We would recommend this tour.

The tour was amazing, you get to see the rhinos really close and guides are very helpfull. Definitely worth it, we booked vía WhatsApp and everything resulted perfect, the pick up, crossing the border (we were staying at Zimbawe). Recomend it 100%
Great day walking with Rhinos - amazing animals. Dewclaw collected us on time and they made the tour a very positive experience. Mike was an implacable and friendly guide and Lucky our driver was also highly interactive and positive. We also got to see Elephants, giraffes, zebras and a few other smaller animals on the day. A great tour and would definitely recommend Dewclaw for the tour.
Very cool rhino experience and game drive. Guide very knowledgeable. Thanks
10/10! I booked via the hotel. It was a great experience being able to be so close on foot to a white rhino. Lucky was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! We stopped for a little picnic with snacks and drinks. While eating we also saw hippos in the river.
My friend and I did the morning game drive and rhino walk with Dewclaw. It was such a perfect experience! The amount of Amanda’s we saw up close, not to mention 5 rhinos(!), was a perfect morning. Would highly recommend!
As well as seeing a Rhino with a calf, the rest of the drive was also excellent, with close up encounters with Elephants, Giraffes, and more, and the guide was very good
We organised a rhino walk with Dewclaw with very short notice on the morning of. Super flexible with timing and they came to pick us up within 2 hours of first contacting them. Cacious was our guide. He was super friendly, knowledgeable on the animals and local culture and took his time to spot animals with us (and we managed to see quite a few). The rhino walk was also special. Highly recommend Dewclaw. Great guides. Super easy to organise and reliable. It was a great way to end our African adventure! Thanks!
Mike and Lucky were very kind young gentlemen who were very knowledgeable about the wildlife, flora and fauna of the mosi ao tunya park.we saw a lot of animals and it was cool to walk so close to the rhinos.
Excellent experience! Highly recommend
Highly recommend this excursion. Our guide was so knowledgeable about everything! And...we saw rhino's- even a baby! You're pretty close and it was a wonderful morning. Wear pants ;) Was so worth it.
A holiday highlight! Our guides were friendly, welcoming and full of knowledge about the area and the many animals we encountered! Tour undersells itself - this is a mini game drive AND a rhino walk. Better than some full day experiences!
My wife and I had two truly once-in-a-lifetime experiences with Dewclaw Eco Tours and Safaris: the Rhino Walk and Devil’s Pool—and both exceeded every expectation. Our guides, Brian and Cacious, were absolutely outstanding. On the Rhino Walk Safari, their professionalism, deep knowledge, and calm confidence made the experience both exhilarating and reassuring. Being on foot and so close to these incredible animals was humbling and unforgettable, and Brian and Cacious ensured we felt safe while fully immersed in the moment. Their passion for wildlife conservation and storytelling added so much depth to the experience. Devil’s Pool was equally phenomenal—well-organized, seamless, and awe-inspiring. Standing at the edge of Victoria Falls is something we’ll never forget, and the Dewclaw team handled every detail with care and expertise. If you’re looking for an authentic, expertly guided, and truly memorable safari experience, Dewclaw Eco Tours and Safaris is second to none. We can’t recommend them highly enough and would book with them again in a heartbeat.
I had an excellent tour with Lacken from Dewclaw Eco Tours. The Rhino walk included a game drive as well which was very successful! Highly recommended! I visited Chobe earlier, but saw no Rhinos. Happy to have gone on this tour and walked with Rhinos!
What amazing guides and an amazing tour. I highly recommend this tour. We saw plenty of elephants in our way and the highlight was the rhino walk. The guides were very knowledgeable and fun.
Our tour with Cacious and Mike was absolutely incredible! They had such a great sense of humor and made the entire experience fun and memorable. We got up close and personal with the rhinos, which was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Beyond just seeing the animals, they taught us so much about the wildlife and the habitat — their knowledge and passion really shone through. We felt safe, engaged, and inspired the whole time. I would absolutely recommend this tour and these guides to anyone visiting
Cacious and Mike were very friendly and informative guides. In addition to getting to meet the rangers and approach the rhinos, we had a game drive through the park and got to see some animals that we hadn’t yet on a longer safari in Chobe. The guys had great facts and answered all of our questions. Getting close to the rhinos was an incredible experience that I’m so glad to have had.
This tour was amazing Raymond our guide was excellent talked about the history of Livingstone about the Rhinos and other animals ! To get that close to the Rhinos and see them happy in their own environment was unbelievable ! There was a baby Rhino who just wanted to play he was 10 weeks old ! This was just unreal !
Guides were educated, polite, informative. Met us at the border and took us to the park where we walked next to mum and calf rhino. Then continued through park looking at usual safari animals. On way home we stopped off at a place where ladies make jewelry from broken bottles. It was originally to support blind and handicapped ladies. Great cause.
Wonderful morning with the rhinos. Mike the guide was professional and it is very easy to do coming over from Zimbabwe side.
Enjoyed a fantastic safari drive and rhino walk led by Cacious. Cacious was friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable. He took us up close to the rhinos, including a 5 week old baby, and also showed us elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos and much more. Great day out - highly recommended
It was incredible seeing the rhinos up close. We were very pleased that Dewclaw could help us visit from the Zimbabwean side of the border, by arranging transfers across to Zambia.
Our guide Mike was so helpful getting us from Zimbabwe to Zambia. Seeing the rhinos was amazing!! Mr K was also helpful in helping us see other animals in the park
My son and I had an incredible time during the rhino walk. It was truly special to be able to observe the rhinos from so close up. Mike was a very knowledgeable and kind guide, and Mr. K facilitated a smooth and one of a king experience. They both went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable time in the Mosi Oa Tunya Park. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Victoria Falls!
It was an amazing experience going to see the White Rhinos, we got to see other animals as well. Mike and crew were amazing, they explained everything super clear and were happy to answer any questions. I highly recommend doing this experience as you will be able to see the White Rhino from a close distance, having all the information and clarity you need! Thank you so much!
Amazing experience. Tour guides were knowledgeable and saw many animals in the park. Highly recommend this company. Love it
The views were amazing we took soo many clear photos and clear shots which I loved I loved the pictures I took and the animals I saw
Our family had a fantastic day including Rhino Walk, Angel's Pool, and Victoria Falls Park. Our guide Lacken was professional and knowledgeable, and the vehicle was top notch. Good communication via WhatsApp. Highly recommended!
It was amazing we got to see rhinos, and many other animals. The host was really knowledgeable, entertaining and fun. Had a comfortable thrilling tour
It was magical! The whole experience was great. I would do it again. And I highly recommend the Rhino walk. You get to be so close to the animals. They are huge but very gentle and minding their own business
I did the Devils Pool and the Rhino walk and Declaw was by far the best price and easiest to work with for these activities. 100% recommend both activities (very unique to Zambia) and booking your Livingstone adventure with Declaw.
This tour was the highlight of our trip! Bright is the BEST tour guide we had for our entire 2 weeks in Africa. He is extremely kind, passionate, and knowledgeable about biology and wildlife. He was excellent at positioning the car for us to get the best photos possible. Instead of just showing us the rhinos as planned, Bright took us around the entire park to see elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebra, and many beautiful species of birds. We learned so much about wildlife from him. I HIGHLY recommend booking this tour and requesting Bright, he made the tour a 5 STAR experience.
A fantastic experience from beginning to end! From timely and excellent initial communication through the scheduling and the safari experience itself, everything and everyone was professional and top-notch. The company was extremely accommodating and flexible, scheduling our white rhino walk around our shifting schedule and arranging a convenient multi-leg transport from Zambia to Zimbabwe. The safari tour itself was magical! Our guide, Bright, was fantastic — super knowledgeable and sweet — and we saw a TON of animals up close: The entire white rhino herd (with the babies!) , giraffes, zebras, impalas, pukus, Cape buffalo, and a giant herd of elephants, plus assorted monkeys and birds. Very memorable and a wonderful experience — highly recommended!
The rhino walk is an incredible experience that allows you to see protected white rhinos up close. With armed rangers by your side, you can safely get within five feet of these magnificent creatures. It's definitely a bucket-list activity! The operator we booked through was fantastic, and I highly recommend them.
Amazing activity. We saw a Lot of animals and went for a walk to see the white rhinos. It was wonderful, i truly recomend it
We enjoyed the safari, especially seeing the white rhinos. Our guide Bright was very good. Taxi was 15 minutes late arriving due to another couple not being ready for pick up, but our lodge was contacted so we were aware and the rest of journey ran smoothly. There was an extra fee for us being collected in Victoria Falls, but we were told this in advance.
Incredible experience walking next to the white rhinos. Our guide was super knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommend!
It was excellent! Lacken is very knowledgeable and friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed the drive and the rhino walk. Lacken gave us so much detail about the wildlife we were able to see and local history of the park as well. Felt like we received great value for the cost of the safari. Certainly highly recommend!
It surely could have been better than what we saw. We were driven into the park and then made to walk for few minutes. We ended up seeing 4-5 listless tired Rhinos like they were statues just sleeping away. Few details were given for that. We did see some Giraffes and elephants but at a far away distance as they driver was scared that elephants will attack. So overall nothing so great. Have seen better Rhinos in other safaris
Amazing tour! Especially the Rhino walk, you get very close to them on foot accompanied by an armed ranger. We saw many other animals like Elephants, Giraffes, Hippo, Zebra and many more. I highly recommend it Especially if you want to see Rhino
Amazing day with a great guide, we have seen a lot of animals: elephants, giraffes, impalas, monkeys, warthogs, zebras and of course Rhinos! Fully recommend the experience!
We had a lovely safari! The start was a little slow. It has stormed the night before so there just weren’t a lot of animals around (not the guides fault- nature is unpredictable). We’d thought the tour would be between 1-1.5 hours. It ended up being just over 3 hours! Like I said, slow start, but after we found the rhinos all the other animals got the memo and came out to say hello! The guides were very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions and provide fun facts. We would definitely recommend! ❤️
Fantastic experience. We really enjoyed the knowledgeable guides and getting to see the white rhinos.
The walking safari, game drive, vice falls guided tour, zipline and gorge swing was excellent. The services by DewClaw was very good
Lovely tour guide Bright, saw lots of animals!🩷 Like baboons,Hippo’s,Zebra’s and Rhinos. It was a perfect morning
It was simply amazing!! Our guide Bright took his time to show all the animals and knew so much about the park and animals! 1000% recommend🤎✨ we saw Rhinos,Hippo’s, Zebras,Baboons and many more animals Xx Quinty
Our excursion, initially planned as a serene rhino walk with my girlfriend, unexpectedly evolved into a rhino game drive. Though this change was a departure from our wish for a leisurely nature walk, as we had excitedly mentioned to our guide, it unfolded into a memorable journey. The highlight of the tour, undoubtedly, was the opportunity to observe rhinos in their natural habitat. Witnessing these magnificent, vulnerable creatures up close was a profoundly moving experience. It served as a poignant reminder of their endangered status and the urgent need for conservation efforts. This encounter alone made the trip worthwhile, offering us a deeper appreciation and understanding of these majestic animals. Additionally, our guide's extensive wildlife knowledge greatly enriched our experience. Their insights turned the drive into an informative adventure. We were enthralled by the variety of birdlife we encountered, including Marabou storks, Hammerkops, White-headed Whistling Ducks, Darters, Vultures, and many others. This birdwatching experience was a delightful and unexpected aspect of our tour. The thoughtful provision of water and refreshments further enhanced our comfort during the adventure. Although we missed out on the walking experience we had anticipated, the tour was undeniably valuable. The intimate glimpse into the world of rhinos and the diverse array of birdlife we observed more than compensated for the initial mix-up. Reflecting on our experience, the tour was certainly worth our investment. It offered us an invaluable perspective on the plight of rhinos and the rich biodiversity of their ecosystem. Even though we ventured differently than planned, the journey was a powerful reminder of the beauty and fragility of wildlife, leaving us with lasting memories and a renewed passion for conservation.
We had a fantastic time on the tour. Lacken - the tour operator, collected us from our accomodation and answered all our questions. Brighton - our tour guide was a great guide. He was highly knowledgeable and passionate about the park and the animals we saw. I very much recommend this tour.
The tour is quite good, the guide trys to show you a lot and has a good knowledge about the animals and the area. We foud the rhinos by the way, so we dont need to treck, ao I mussed this experience. But it is still a great feeling tonstay close to this giants!
We left Zimbabwe for Zambia to view the white Rhinos. We were picked up from our hotel and assisted through immigration then took a open game viewing vehicle from the Zambia border to just outside Livingston. The guides Bright and Lawrence showed us elephants, impala’s, zebra, warthogs and a variety of bird life before the finale the rhino walk 3 armed guide took us so close to the rhino it was a memorable experience one I’ll never forget
