Chobe Full Day Trip

We had a fantastic time. Pick up, drop off and border crossing went smoothly. The morning game drive was fantastic as we specifically asked to see the lions if possible. We got to see them up close and also a mum and kids feeding. Overall the whole Chobe safari was excellent including the provided buffet lunch. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent experience with Owen’s Taxi and Tours. The Chobe National Park game drive and river safari were both outstanding and gave us the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. Everything was very well organized from start to finish. The transfers were punctual, communication was clear, and the staff were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The river safari was particularly memorable, with incredible views and close sightings of elephants, hippos, crocodiles.

When I first arrived, Owen arranged a pickup for me very quickly and also had the driver help me buy a local SIM card. The whole process went super smoothly with no stress at all. After that, I joined a Chobe Safari day tour that Owen helped me book. The guide team was very professional — the female guide helped me with the Botswana visa process, and the male guide led us to find amazing wildlife. On the jeep, we could have some snacks when hungry, and water was always provided. Great attention to detail. Lunch surprised us — both the environment and food quality were excellent, way beyond our expectations. In short, Owen not only provides efficient transportation service, but the Safari day tour was also very professional. There were five of us on the tour, total strangers before, but every single person was truly satisfied with the experience. Wish Owen all the best and happy days! My family of five used Owen’s Taxis and Tours for transfers and tours, and we were thoroughly impressed! They managed our return transfers to the airport, organized a tour of Victoria Falls on both the Zambian and Zimbabwean sides, arranged a helicopter ride, and provided a full private tour of Chobe National Park. If you don’t have a lot of time to spend a few days in safari, a day in Chobe is well worth it. Combining a safari ride with watching a whole gang of elephants taking a water break to a boat ride in Zambezi river seeing crocodile swimming towards our boat make my day. We got to see lots of animals. We traveled in March (maybe low season) we end up having our own private game drive and took lot of pics. Thanks to Owen and his crew for making seamless arrangements.

It was one of the best trips we’ve ever had among 47 countries we’ve visited. Everything was well-organised, guides and drivers were punctual and polite, the lunch was diverse. It’s worth every penny. We’ve got almost a private tour: there were 2 of us and one more man in the car. Therefore, during game drive we could take pictures from any side. We saw lionesses and their cubs, elephants, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, hippos, etc. Highly recommend! Also, we ordered a few transfers with Owen. Everything was flawless.

First class service from Owen and his team. we used owen and winston for our airport shuttles, we also did a fabulous day trip to Botswana chobe national park. All communication was so smooth and Efficient, his team are always on time and throughly professional, extremely safe for female travellers.

Our experience was beyond what we dared hope. We had excellent guides and saw large numbers of magnificent animals. We highly recommend this experience.

We did the full day tour which was a river safari followed by a bush safari and the next day we did a waking tour of the falls and a sunset cruise. Best job ever. The river and bush safaris were first class. You cannot explain on here your sights but will say it was all stunning. So much to see and our guides were excellent. The whole experience given by Owen and his team was fantastic. A big thanks from Ben, uncle Andy and the rest of our group. Don’t miss out book with there’s guys. You will not be disappointed.

On the whole v good, the transfer there and back was v efficient, the safari was good, obviously not as we have experienced as a private safari, the guide seemed perfunctory. The boat safari however was excellent, more to see and very good guide, food in the lodge for lunch was also good

We booked airport transfers and two days of tours with Owen's company. My initial email request for information as well as every other email I sent were responded to promptly. The service we received from everyone we dealt with was outstanding. I cannot recommend Owen and his staff highly enough. "Reliable and honest" -- the words on his company shirts is an accurate description of what you can expect to receive if you use him.

This was a great experience. Timely pick up from the door of our lodge in Livingstone with a pleasant ride to the border crossing. Weston, our driver, was awesome...safe and informative. Took us through the entire border exit visa process with ease. I guess the next time I do this, the bridge will be in operation and the process will probably go easier...but African border crossing are an adventure in themselves. As for the Chobe Safari, just wow! We did the river first, which was by far my favorite. Just being on the river with a warm cup of coffee and some relaxation, contributed to the experience immensely. Our tour guide was funny, imformative, and just added to the overall experience. After the river, it was time to fill up on some delicious food at the lodge before getting in the vehicle for the land portion. We met great people on the safari and the conversations added to the general experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in Livingstone/Vic Falls who just want a day experience. My next time will be multiple nights, though!!!!

Chobe national park always presents that great experience in a day on safari. From the time you enter Kasane town, it is evident to start seeing the wildlife trails of animals that roam in the area at night. a combination of river safari and a game drive will thrill you with what lies beneath the calm waters of the Chobe and the cat family in the game park area ner game lodge. Your nine-hour day trip will make you feel like you were only there for a minute.

Good organizing by the company involved to utilize different support suppliers, good experienced guides and a great excursion. Will do this again.

My husband and I booked the Chobe Day Trip with Owen's Taxi and Tours and had a great experience. They were easy to communicate with before the trip and even went out of their way to pick us up from our hotel in Victoria Falls and transport us to the Zimbabwe/Botswana border. They ensured smooth border crossing and were there to pick us up after the safari that day, communicating with our guide to coordinate our pickup. The staff was all so friendly and all and all a great experience.
