Liverpool City Sights Hop On Hop Off City Tour - 24hr Ticket

It was absolutely fabulous the weather was awful but our lovely guide Luis made the whole experience perfect. Our awesome driver Joe even handed out poncho's when we got off at Penny Lane and strawberry Fields. We came to do the whole Beatles experience and for me this bus tour is a must! We are going back in the spring hoping further better weather and we will definitely do the bus tour again. Thank you Luis and Joe you were fabulous and loved all the Beatles hits you played and all the great stories .

Ideal introduction to the this most amazing city. The bus is convenient and staff friendly- big thanks to Katy our driver, Liverpool like many cities is plagued with heavy traffic

Very well organised and thoroughly informative too. The bus was clean, staff very friendly and courteous. The driver ( Dave ) was very safe and considerate. The guide ( Luis ) was brilliant, he had so much knowledge and knew so much local knowledge. He gave an insight of the city and shared so much knowledge.

Went on the 10.20 tour today with Guide Luis and Driver Dave, and it was great. Luis was a great guide, full of humor and local knowledge, and was very jolly and entertaining. We hopped off at the Metropolitan Cathedral and an hour later hopped back on the bus to see Luis and Dave back again, which was great. We did another stop and when we caught the next bus, it was a different driver and no guide. It was just a tape played on the bus, which was nowhere near as good as having Luis on the bus. This bus was also running late so was asking everyone on the bus if anyone wanted to get off at stop 12 or not, presumably to take a short cut, which I don't 100% understand because there could be people waiting at stop 12 to get back on the bus to back to the starting point... Anyway, long story story, loved the bus with Luis and Dave, totally worth it. If you get a bus with a tape, get off and get on the next one with the real guide on it!

It was very good and talked about lots of main attractions. As a Scouser myself, I couldn't have said it any better. We stayed the whole tour from start to finish and it was one of the best experiences I have done! Highly recomend for scousers or tourists.

Brilliant for value. Definitely funny! Happy to do it twice which I am doing 😂 Wasn't too busy either. Half a hour but you can honestly do it 100 times. Staff and funny and friendly Best for older kids or anyone really! Lovely atmosphere

Excellent guide Viv with so much information and enjoyable storytelling and driver Kathy who was very polite and helpful.

Really disappointing tour (red route.) The buses were very oversold so people were having to wait up to an hour to get on. Those of us that did get on without waiting an hour were standing so couldn't really see anything. No guide (which was advertised), just a recording. Very little information on Liverpool for a city with so much history and culture. The driver sped up at some pedestrians in the road. Whether they should have been there or not, you never speed up to within a metre or two of pedestrians. Really annoyed we wasted the money.

We did the tour with Joe as our driver and Luis as our guide. Both were excellent. Joe was very friendly and a careful driver. Luis was a superb guide, he was engaging and informative. We particularly enjoyed understanding the context of some of the Beatles lyrics. We wish them both well.

Brilliant, driver Michael and guide Luis were spot on, we hopped on and off numerous times, and by chance had the same driver, made the day more enjoyable 😉

My experience on the hop on hop off tours was absolutely amazing as for, the driver Michael was welcoming when coming on and off. His driving was really good and i could see all the tourist attractions really well. Our tour guide was so incredible with the facts she knew Anne Marie, she was very frendily and factual making jokes along our way.

Great experience and way to see highlights of Liverpool with engaging guide. I believe her name was “Viv”, but we enjoyed her sense of humor and had a lovely afternoon.

Absolutely loved it. My 13 year old son is a big Beatles fan and I have also come away a fan as well feeling like I know so much more about them. Our driver Joe was great very friendly and welcoming. Our guide Luis was excellent very enthusiastic, fun and full of knowledge to keep us all engaged in the tour. I would recommend this to all ages. It was a lovely sunny day too so we got to sit on the top of the bus which was a bonus. Thank you and keep up the hard work.

Great driver Michael and an exceptional guide Chris We were luck enough to be on the afternoon blue route tour and it was fairly quiet Chris came and sat upstairs with us and made the whole tour very personal and completely entertained us throughout with his tremendous knowledge of Liverpool and the Beatles. This man had an incredible memory and was naturally entertaining and funny almost wasted on a bus he should be on a stage. If you are lucky enough to be on their bus, you are in for a treat. Wrap up warm and make sure you duck from the overhead branches on the top dec. Great fun worth every penny

Knowledge and facts from Luis were great, could have done without the music but others seemed to enjoy it. The tour was a good way to navigate round the city and see many of the famous sights. Michael our driver was also pleasant and got us round the tour safely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Liverpool city tour as a family! Luis, our guide, was brilliant — really friendly, knowledgeable and engaging throughout. He made the tour enjoyable for everyone and gave us a great experience of Liverpool. For a family of 5 we felt it was very reasonable. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city.

What a brilliant guided tour this was around Liverpool, fantastic, knowledgeable guide, got us all involved ! Most enjoyable and found out a lot about Liverpool.

Damien was our guide abd provided a lively, interesting commentary. Including many little known facts about the life and times of the Beatles lives on Liverpool. Driver Lee was very considerate and provided Beatles music at appropriate volumes and times. We all enjoyed the trip and would definitely recommend the experience. We will probably take the tour again when we return to Liverpool.

We booked both the blue route (Beatles tour) and the red route city tour. Guide on the Beatles tour was great very informative and fun commentary. Not all the buses on the city route had live commentary some had pre recorded.

There were very few buses running on the day. 1 per hour so instead of hopping on a off we changed our plans and stayed on to the end. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Liverpool. It was very full probably because there were so few buses. Feel like if it was running properly we would have explored the city more. Very disappointed. It was a very informative bus ride and we did enjoy it.

we waited 45 minutes at the station 3, without being informed that there was only one coach/hour instead of 2... I had to call the operators, who told me that the bus will arrive 5 minutes later... or we waited 15 minutes more ... such a shame to loose so many time as we had only half a day for visiting Liverpool... we therefore didn't have time to make stops, we simply made the whole tour on bus... I was disappointed

Always a great experience.i must for any visitor to Liverpool.

Bus stops were hard to figure out and the to it e still needed an extra bus even though we went in October due to crowd levels. It was a nice bus though and comfortable to ride the loop to get your bearings of the city quickly before doing more walking.

Couldn't get a sear upstairs so couldn't hear the guide. Only found out half way round there was ear pieces. Didn't get value for money!

Great tour , took us round Liverpool to see the places associated with the Beatles . The driver Joe and guide Damion were friendly and knowledgeable and there were stops to take pictures ,Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields .The tour was about 90 minutes well worth doing.

A great tour with a fab guide and driver. Viv was funny and very knowledgeable about the local sights. A great tour through an amazing city. We bought a 48 hour pass and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely the best way to get around Liverpool

So our first trip on the bus was with a guy called Luis and the driver was Michael. Luis was amazing and brought Liverpool to life with tales far above and beyond what we found was a pre-recorded guide when we caught the bus on other occasions. What’s the pre-recording was good it didn’t mention the cabin or some of these are very interesting points Luis had done on our first trip round. I would definitely recommend the trip we did the river cruise as part of it which whilst interesting was not as good as the road trip. Being able to use the ticket for 24 hours Anne And able us to also get back on the bus the following day to go back to the train station . Definitely book the red route it was really really good.
