Love these Treasure Hunts! This is the 2nd one we've done and we have found them a great way to explore a city, find out more about the history of a place and see places we hadn't even heard of. We spent the whole day in Liverpool doing one, stopping for "refreshment" breaks and a lovely leisurely lunch en-route.
Very good but some tricky clues! Worked well on whattsapp and telling us where to have a rest/ drink

Another great day out with the treasure hunt team. Really fun tour and informative about Liverpool. Some clues were really tricky but we got there with hints! Kept us on our toes and we really needed to work together. We went as 2 families with kids from 10-14 and we took 3 hours including stops at the cathedral and for a lunch. Fantastic would thoroughly recommend!
Its an online hunt for buildings/monuments etc. We enjoyed doing this but some of the clues were quite obscure. It did fill 3 hours though. Does drain your phone so take a power bank (especially if you are slow like us!)
The clues were easy to follow, not always easy to solve - hints available if you need them - and we discovered places we didn’t know existed! Our group ranged from 10 up to 74 and everyone enjoyed the trail.
Fantastic treasure hunt. Just the right level of tricky, and we learnt lots of interesting things. It was cold and wet so we spread it over 3 days. We appreciated the flexibility to do this. Thanks!

We had a great day doing the Liverpool treasure hunt! It was an entertaining activity that helped us notice things we'd usually walk past, from cafes and bars to historic points across the city. I loved learning more about the city in a fun and interactive way. We completed the route over a few hours, stopping at one of the suggested places along the way. However, we definitely could have done it quicker, or slower if we had stopped from more breaks and food as we went. We appreciated the recommended places to stop and the deals that were available for some of these places as well. Overall a unique and thoroughly enjoyable way to enjoy the city and discover some gems.
We really enjoyed the treasure hunt and definitely got to see and learn about parts of the city we wouldn't have seen on our own

loved this! my brothers and their wives came to stay for the weekend and i bought this experience! we had a fantastic day, walking around Liverpool and discovering history i had no idea about! and I've lived here 40 years! stopped off for food and drinks along the way magical day and we never stopped laughing and having fun! can’t wait to share with other friends… and try it in other cities!

Highly recommend Treasure Hunt Liverpool! We did this for a summer party and split into teams of 5/6 people. It was great fun, I especially liked that it wasn't about speed - so we enjoyed a couple of pit stops along the way! The game was easy to follow (but good at testing your brain of course) and full of informative and fun facts. It was a great way to explore the city and learn more about the history. I will definitely consider using Treasure Hunt Tours in other cities in future.

What a great way to learn about the city of Liverpool and its history. We had a great time. We had our 5yr old and 9yr old with us and it was all enjoyed it.
A fabulous day out for friends and family of all ages. Easy walk with so much to see. The clues were well written and the hints were great - don’t be afraid to ask for one! We could have happily spent much longer than the 3 hours we allocated. We’re planning on doing it again!
Perfect way to explore Liverpool, find out some odd facts and discover new places. The app was easy and fun to use. The difficulty level of the puzzles was just right for three adults. The flexibility in terms of timing was also very good.
It's a whole new way to enjoy a city daytrip, makes a self-guided tour into a game We could also pause it whenever we were doing something else - we did the Mersey Ferry and Beatles Story whilst playing this!
What a great way to spend a day. We have done Chester and Liverpool in January and thoroughly enjoyed both. I have learnt things o didn't know about my home city and visited places I didn't know existed. Can't wait to do more.
Thuja tour was so much fun! Our family enjoyed seeing the city, following the clues and seeing the sights. We would definitely recommend it to people of all ages! The walk was not too long or strenuous and we were able to get it all done before dark! So much fun!
The is the second treasure hunt we have done They are excellent I can certainly recommend these guys. It’s a great way of spending a few hours exploring the city
6 of us in the group, we’d underestimated how cold it was and we started later than planned but despite that had a fabulous time. As everyone has said in the reviews you see parts of your own city you’ve never noticed. Clues were easy enough to be able to find without too much difficulty, but cryptic enough to spark some lively debates in the group! The step by step interactive clues were great and easy to follow. The only suggestion is maybe somehow indicating how far to the next clue (most clues did or there was a map). We missed one and had to backtrack but it was only a gut feeling we’d gone too far and had missed it. On a warm day with more time it wouldn’t have mattered. But still 10/10, thank you.
It was good fun. We thought it was a brilliant way to view a city. We would certainly do another when we have our next city break.

We went as a team building day out for work. It was great you can go at your own pase and have breaks. We found it a really great day finding out new interesting things about the city we love. It would be good for all ages. We even met a student fresher and his family playing as well.
Great way to explore the city and find out some history and places you wouldn’t perhaps see otherwise. Great for a sunny day. Plenty of places to stop for a drink or food.
Was looking for something abit different and boy did I find it. Booked that morning and everything was all ready to go. Live locally on the wirral so got to Liverpool eith plenty of time for the activity. We purposely allowed time to look and enjoy and so glad we did. So much to see, and learn on the way. Would recommend highly. I would do it again and again. We had a great day. It took us 5hours and we loved every minute! Thank you
The other treasure hunts we did from this company was way better. This one was really quite boring, it was less riddles and using your brain, and more just walking up to landmarks and finding whatever they are telling you to find. We lost out on two points in the start as we were thinking too ‘outside the box’ which we needed to do in the other 3 treasure hunts we did (Manchester, bristol and Edinburgh) however the clue was the thing we were already initially looking at. If that makes any sense. There was no thinking, or competitive challenged involved unlike the others (which we have reviewed a 5/5!) highly recommend them more than this.

This was great to do a fairly long walk around a city we wanted to explore while learning some history. Unfortunately one of the clues was in the middle of a meeting point for a graduation ceremony so it was awkward to get to it and a few times we got totally lost - that’s on us though I imagine! This is a very creative way to engage people with Liverpool and a fun outing.
Hubby and I had a brilliant time doing this treasure hunt. It changes the way you look at your surroundings and you see so much more than the treasure. The sun was out so it was great to have a couple of pit stops along the way. 🍻 There is a secret bonus in that it is a great way to get your steps in too. The instructions are easy to follow, and the clues are no too hard but not obvious either, you have to solve each clue before you move onto the next. It’s also given us new ideas for things to do on our next visit to Liverpool. Quoting my hubby “I’m really glad you made me do this” so for the reluctant husbands out there, give it a go you’ll be surprised.
