Our tour guide Geoff was friendly and knowledgeable. He was very helpful and accommodating, as I had hurt my knee prior to arriving in Liverpool. He played some of the Beatles music to flow with the tour. He even took pictures of our family, making Liverpool one of the highlights of our cruise. Highly recommend

Our Liverpool tour exceeded expectations! We had a great guide who asked our preferences and incorporated all and more of what we wanted. We saw both the city sights, historical and Beatles sights. We were told about the importance of Liverpool as a major port and stories of the origins of several Beatles songs while the driver had the song playing in the background. Nice touch!
Julie was an excellent guide! Her love for her city shines through. Highly recommend!
Paul was a wonderful guide and made it so interesting! Fun day! He was waiting for us when we got off the ship and he made our day so enjoyable!
Paul was terrific! Super friendly, punctual, accommodating and filled with knowledge. Took us to all the sites expeditiously!
Great tour with John super knowledgeable about Liverpool born and raised there loved everything about the tour highly recommend
John Joyce was our guide and he was absolutely so delightful. We felt like we were with a friend all day. I would highly recommend this tour and see if you can ask for John. He’s a great guy honestly.
Jimmy was a great tour guide, very personable and fun. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the Beatles and even had a photo album with pictures to supplement sights we visited. He tailored the tour so we could see everything we wanted to see. Great tour of the highlights!
Keith was a great guide of the Liverpool highlights. Would highly recommend. Great for adults and children.
We were a little crowded on the tour with five adults, but we had a great time seeing the sites in Liverpool. Our tour guide, Paul, was great about including Beatles sites as well as others around Liverpool as we weren't all huge Beatles fans due to age differences. We did all enjoy learning about all the sites though. Great fun zipping all over Liverpool!
While our ship docked in Liverpool we (2 couples) had a fantastic time with our guide John at our private "design your own" tour in the city of Liverpool on a bright and sunny bank holiday. You would expect that a good guide tells you all about the city's past and present. John not only did that but added the little extra information in all the places on our list and more - and always in a friendly and humorously way that we felt very comfortable and really enjoyed ourselves during the tour. G+R with K+M
Our tour guide John was awesome! He was knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. As a handicapped customer, his attention to my comfort was top notch! I got a great understanding of the history of Liverpool, and how the region has evolved. We also had a great time visiting Anfield, home of the Liverpool FC! Great tour!
Our tour was amazing! We did all The Beatles stops and some great Liverpool sightseeing, including Anfield and the churches. Our tour guide, Dave, was the absolute best in every way. Super knowledgeable about the Beatles and Liverpool’s history. I can’t praise him enough.
Last year we took a customized Fab4 Taxi Tour of The Beatles, with Jay as our tour guide. When we visited again, this time with another couple, we decided to do another tour. This time we did a customized Liverpool tour, and requested Jay again as our guide. He gave us a great tour! We saw so many sites and areas we never would have gotten to see on our own (including a requested stop at Liverpool Football Club). Jay is so friendly and good humored, he really made our day memorable.
Absolutely the highlight of our British Isles cruise. We were met at the pier by Peter. His genuine smile assured us that we were in for a great time. We were a group of 75+ year old "kids" that grew up with the introduction of the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. What a treat to see and hear all about the Beatles childhood and to visit their childhood home and tromping grounds. I don't think we will ever listen to another Beatles song without remembering this tour. It was FABULOUS.
Dave was a great tour guide. He was so nice, knowledgeable and flexible. We enjoyed our time at the Cavern Club, museum, neighborhoods, Strawberry Fields, etc.
Jay was a wonderful guide for our Liverpool tour. We had the best time. Highly recommend this way to see the city, we saw lots and learned lots too.
Dave was our guide and if I could give him 10 stars, I would. Not only did he give us a full day Beatles tour, he shared the history of Liverpool with us and he was a Liverpool FC fan!! YNWA. We really enjoyed our day with Dave and if we ever make it back to Liverpool, we'd request a tour with him again.
From start to finish our driver Geoff took us to all the fabulous Beatles sites. His knowledge was amazing. We had an absolute ball. Highly recommend.
Did the 3 hour Beatles tour this afternoon. Our driver was Jay and he was fantastic, really friendly and knowledgeable. Thought I knew quite a bit about The Beatles but Jay had some great new stories for us. Saw the childhood homes, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields and the place John and Paul 1st met. Highly recommended.
This was one of the best tours I have ever taken! My guide Dave really was interested in what I wanted to see and he made sure I saw it all. He knew a lot about Liverpool and all the historic sites we went to. He was so polite and kind too. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Liverpool.
September 2023 what an amazing experience! Communication was amazing from the time of booking and throughout the tour. We were traveling with family on a cruise and we booked this as a private excursion. Only having a brief time in Liverpool, we wanted to see as much as possible without feeling rushed. Jay met us on time and whisked us downtown and to the Stadium, ahead of the big coaches. After walking in the footsteps of the Beatles early years, we then had the opportunity to tour the amazing Liverpool Cathedral where we enjoyed lunch. the afternoon was spent visiting the childhood homes and haunts of the Fab 4. Throughout the day, Jay provided us with fascinating historical commentary. Amazing day. Amazing guide! Just a note, the tours are typically done using traditional London Cabs, so if your group is bigger than 4 adults, or you are larger adults, you may want to upgrade to one of their larger vehicles, they will happily accommodate!
Our driver Steve was excellent. Helpful and knowledgeable. Picked us up at our hotel - the Delta. He really knew his Liverpool and Beatles history and went out of his way to help my wife get in and out of the cab. Just the two of us but the cab could hold 5 or 6 . At the end of the tour he drove us down by the waterfront per our request. Highly recommended.
We took a private tour choosing our own itinerary as I had been to Liverpool multiple times before and wanted to go to some sites not typically on a tour. Our guide STEVE picked us up at our hotel promptly at 9am and drove us to the bus pick up for the National Trust Tours of John Lennon and Paul McCartney's homes. After finishing the tour at Paul's home, Steve was right there waiting for us to continue with him on our own. Since I am a huge Beatles fan, Steve and I had a great time quizzing each other on Beatles facts and he surprised us by taking us to a few places not normally visited like Julia's gravesite and Georges boyhood home in Speke. We got inside of the St. Peters Church Hall where John and Paul met for the first time and got to meet Colin from the original Quarrymen! I had been to Strawberry Fields Gate before but this time got inside Strawberry Fields, which was a treat. Of course, Penny Lane and The Roundabout were on the list as it was my friends first time in LIverpool. Steve stopped at the Penny Lane sign which Paul signed when doing the James Cordin Show, so that was a treat for all. Steve really took care of us and we had a glorious day. This is the 2nd time I have booked the Fab Four Taxi Tour and highly recommend it and if you get Steve as your driver, you will be lucky!!!
We didn’t came to Liverpool to visit the world of The Beatles, we left the city, however, feeling closer to the spirit of those sons of this proud and warm city. And David, our guide was excellent!
We had a great time with Ray! I was so glad he was driving too - crazy traffic! Seeing all the Beatles’ places where they lived and went to school was perfect. I’d recommend going! Also got a good feeling for the city!
The guide/ driver was stressed and did not tell us so much. He said: You can Go to YouTube and listen to everything. But We booked this tour to learn. And when We was at Strawberry fields he was sitting in the cafe bar in stead of going with us.
Tony was very accommodating & knowledgeable. We really had no agenda but he gave us a fun, fact filled tour.
Our tour guide was super friendly and very informative. He was very helpful and was able to tailor the tour to our interests. He was also able to coordinate for our time slot for Beatles story and took great pictures of the family
Gary our guide was entertaining and informative. He knew a lot about the early Beatles and took us to see where they lived and told the story of how they became friends and started the band.
Liverpool was interesting and Ron our guide and driver made it fun and enjoyable. Loved the soccer history and tour of the Titanic Hotel.
Such a great tour! Jay was a lot of fun and a great guide. We were able to easily hop in and out of the car at all the important sights in Liverpool, and we had flexibility to spend a little more time in one place, less time in another place, etc. Highly recommend!
John took us on a wonderful tour of Liverpool he was very knowledgeable, and he made it very interesting and fun. Would recommend as we had never been to Liverpool and it made us want to visit again.
Keith is a wonderful guide! He was a huge Beatles fan and told us tons of stories about the Fab Four we had never known. He had pictures to go with every stop and and we saw it all! Visiting the Casbah, where Beatlemania was born, was a highlight. Pete Best’s nephew shared tales galore. We had time for lunch at Strawberry Fields and honored Eleanor Rigby with a visit to her tombstone. I highly recommend Fab4 Taxi Tours!
we were so glad we did this tour, Dave shared lots of info with us that we had no idea about. Learning of the connection Liverpool had to the US Civil War and how important the harbor had been in early years. Getting a bit of the details of Beatles history was fun. Our driver Dave was absolutely amazing.
Excellent tour with Dave. Enjoyed the fact we told him out interest in trains and he included many train facts in the tour.
Jay, our driver and guide for the morning picked us up outside of our hotel. After introductions, and checking out what we knew and had already seen in Liverpool took us on a brilliant and informative tour of Liverpool. The next three hours were brilliant not only seeing the obvious highlights but also those hidden away gems that really add value to these tours. Jay filled in the detail with and with stops along the way we really came away with a better understanding of the history and importance of the City, docks and of course the music scene.
Our guide was polite and informative. Surprisingly our visit to CCC was one of our favorite parts! It was amazing to see "all the sites" and walk where the Beatles walked and just immerse ourselves in this piece of history! We took the 8-hour tour and, honestly it could have been done in less time. I don't want to say anything negative about our guide but I would suggest not playing Buddy Holly, the Everly Brothers and Stars on 45... also broaden the amount of Beatles music... how do you not have Revolver?
What a fabulous experience. Our guide was Jay who was knowledgeable and interesting, he made our trip very special. I can’t recommend this experience (and Jay) enough. We had a wonderful 3 hours. Thank you Jay.
Peter, our guide was the best! He is so knowledgeable and understanding. He enjoyed our banter as we three knew quite a bit about The Beatles. Fantastic tour. Totally worth every penny!
John - our Fab 4 tour guide - entertained and informed the three of us with a in-depth knowledgable commentary during our 3-hour Best of Liverpool sightseeing trip, covering Liverpool’s varied history, culture, music and sport. John knows the city inside out - and joined us in the cathedrals to give more insights, facts and anecdotes. And he patiently helped our enthusiastic Mum who isn’t as fast on her feet as she used to be. He also took us to sights we were especially keen to see. The cab is immaculate, comfortable and smooth. A great value and fun tour. Get on board!
Too many to mention. Absolutely fab! Very knowledgeable driver - Phil, who bought it to life. The history, the Beatles and the people of the city
Phil was a wonderful host! His knowledge of the area, it’s history, the Beatles etc was amazing. It was a fascinating tour and we all really enjoyed it. Thanks Phil!
Wonderful insight into a beautiful city. Thanks to Jay, our driver for the tour, we realised that Liverpool will need another visit, as our original 5 day trip is going to be nowhere near enough time to cover all the city has to offer. Jay was informative and lovely throughout the tour, and we would highly recommend him as a first port of call, as his tour definitely helped us to structure the rest of our visit.
Having grown up in the era this was a fabulous trip. The driver was pleasant and well informed, we were not rushe d at any venue and it was like stepping back in town. A must!
Jimmy was great! What a great tour! He was very knowledgeable about many subjects, including the Beatles, Liverpool FC and Everton, and the history and architecture of Liverpool. He is able to tailor the tour to exactly what you want. We weren’t super interested in the Beatles, so he took us to just the highlights which was awesome. I’m sure he would be great for a full on Beatles tour. We were more interested in Liverpool FC, and he was able to take us to all the murals throughout the city, which we would have never been able to find ourselves. It was great listening to him regale us with all his stories of playing for Liverpool.
We went on the 3-hour sightseeing tour with John J, on the Saturday morning of our weekend trip to Liverpool. It was a brilliant introduction to the city, taking in the cathedral, the docks, Titanic heritage points and Anfield and Goodison Park, as well as Ringo Starr's childhood home(s). John answered all of our questions and was good enough to take our picture at some of the stops. It was great to get the low down on the city from a native and safe to say we all learned a lot! Thanks again John J 🤝
Our driver, John, was a gracious and knowledgeable host. He was proud of his city; equal in his praise of the good and acknowledgement of the darker parts of Liverpool’s history.
John J as a tour guide was incredible. He was on time. Extremely friendly from the outset and very knowledgeable. Down to earth guy who gave us a brilliant tour of Liverpool and an insight into the life of the Beatles. This tour is well worth the money !!!
Really interesting tour of the city with highly knowledgeable guide (Phil) in comfortable and spacious taxi. Great insight into some of the city's history and took us to some interesting, out-of-the-way places. Not afraid to tackle difficult issues (such as slavery) and has all the facts at his finger tips. Picked us up from just around the corner from our apartment and dropped us back bang on time (we had another appointment to go to). Shame it was so wet and windy - but that was hardly his fault!
