Becoming The Beatles 2 Hour Taxi Tour Of Liverpool

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Geoff, who was engaging and informative and good fun to spend two hours with! The tour was full of good Beatles anecdotes about their childhoods and early days of forming the Beatles. We loved it.

On 24.10. We had a private Beatles taxi tour with our wonderful driver Gary Boyd. Gary was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. His historic knowledge was phenomenal and it made each venue that we stopped at so incredibly interesting. Gary went way above and beyond, providing us with snacks, laughter, kindness (when he allowed two students to join us for part of the tour) and he went way over the time we had booked. I could not highly recommend this company and especially Gary any higher than the full stars I have on here. If you want a personal experience which will make memories for life then I would not hesitate to book this. Thank you Gary we so appreciated everything you did for us. X

We totally enjoyed the two-hour tour with Tony. He took us to all the important sites associated with the Beatles. Major bonus was him taking our picture because it was just me and my husband traveling. My husband is a huge fan of The Beatles so he was super happy. Having said all of that, I think this specific two-hour tour is overpriced. There are other tours that are twice as long for just a little bit more money. This one is really rushed.

Eddie was a fantastic and knowledgeable tour guide. Super personable and a pleasure. My small group has been on several different tours on this trip to the UK and this tour is our favorite!

Helps you see the main Beatles locations easily and without much hassle. They interesting and informative.

Amazing! Our guide Tony was awesome. His knowledge was fab and he looked after us all day. So professional and fun travelling in the black cab. We did the extended tour which was 7 hours but that took in the NTs homes of John and Paul. A superb day, covering all aspects of The Beatles lives. Cannot express how enjoyable this tour was. Would highly recommend and would do it again!!!

Absolutely perfect 2 hours with our driver Paul. He was flexible (dropped us off at Speke Hall for our afternoon visit to John & Paul's boyhood homes), and crammed a *lot* into the 2 hours (bonus of Eleanor Rigby, etc). Great company, told good stories, completely fun 2 hours.

Outstanding tour. We had visited the Beatles Childhood Homes with the National Trust in the morning and our guide/driver, Rakeebur Rahman, took that into account and tailored the tour accordingly. The tour was supposed to be just 2 hours but turned out to be nearly 3 hours because of the amount of things Rak showed us. The AI video that Rak sent us using photos he took on the tour is sensational. I can thoroughly recommend Rak and this tour.

Best tour ever! Robert took us wherever we wanted to go and he was just awesome. He has so much knowledge about the Beatles it was incredible. We went to all the major sites and monuments. He gave us as much time as we’ve wanted at each site. He’s a great cameraman too - he took way better pics than me and for once both of us were in them! Highly recommend and ask for Robert!

We did a two hour tour. Our guide made sure he hit all the highlights and dropped us off at the Cavern Restaurant for lunch. Very informative.

This is the best Liverpool excursion. Keith is the absolute best guide. The only thing we regret is only booking a 2 hour tour, and not 4. Keith has so much knowledge about the city he loves, and especially about the Beatles. We learned so much, Keith is a great driver, and fun!! We got picked up right at the cruise port in a minivan. We were a group of 4 so we had lots of room. Keith took us to so many sites in Liverpool. Highly recommended excursion. You are fantastic Keith!

Julie was an excellent guide. She was absolutely full of Beatles information. We learned so much about their early lives and band history. Small group is the way to do the Beatles and Liverpool.

We had a two hour tour with Tony, who adjusted the program to complete perfectly what we had already seen. He provided great explanations, and definitely helped project ourselves in the 40s to 60s Liverpool experience.

I have been a Beatles fan for 60 years and this trip was really great and our guide gave an excellent view on their early years and career. His explanation on Penny Lane and Strawberry Field was great. I am already thinking of another trip and I would ask for Tony McCarty again.

We all enjoyed our time with Josh. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned new Beatles facts and saw the places we hoped to see. It was interesting to learn about the history of Strawberry Fields. Sounds like Yoko Ono has done her best to preserve some of the places that were important to John. And seeing the school sponsored by Paul was fantastic. There was a mix up on our pick up spot but Josh did show up and added time to our trip. It was a lovely day!

We spent a wonderful full day with John, full of back stories and unseen pictures, who took us to view childhood homes of the four Beatles (from the exterior. John and Paul's houses are owned by the National Trust and require separate requests to tour), Penny Lane (with explanations of where some of the lyrics were derived), Strawberry Fields (a story I was totally unfamiliar with), Eleanor Rigby's grave, the churches where John and Paul met, where Paul sang in a the choir and where his brother married, and so much more. We spent an hour at the Casbah Coffee Club, now run by Pete Best's nephew, that had iconic pictures and articles througout. This is definitely worth your time. John was flexible if you had a special request. I won't be able to hear some songs now without always thinking back to this day.

What a great trip. Perfect amount of time. Guide was very informative. Ride very comfortable. Learned about John, Paul and Ringo mostly. Driver had album with old photos of Beatles and some interesting history.

Paul was our guide. Very knowledgeable, as you might expect after doing tours like this for so long. Engaging. Funny. Never seemed to rush us through any site. Took a couple of pics of us. Always felt very comfortable with his driving. ( can’t say the same for the taxi’s in Paris). I would definitely recommend this tour, and Paul, for those looking for a more personalized experience.

We are so (so so so) glad that we did NOT do the cruise tour but instead booked our own Fab4 Tour. It was marvelous! Steve Hughes was our guide.....He was the best! On a 0 to 100, we give him 116! Don't do the cruise tour!!!!!.....Do Fab4. It was the advice we got from pal Diane....and she was spot on!

Rak was a great tour guide. Brought the places and stories to life. Traveling with aging parents and he was also adept at adapting the tour for folks with more limited mobility while still ensuring we hit all the sights. Would heartily recommend!

Took the tour under the guidance of Jay who proved to be the perfect host, kind, considerate with an encyclopedic knowledge of the Beatles. Allowed us plenty of time for photos. Really interesting with lots of facts backed by written material. The Eleanor Rigby history is really poignant.
