What I was looking for was a single private tour that would hit all the essential Beatle spots in Liverpool as we were pressed for time. Along with all the usual locations; strawberry fields, Penny Lane, the cavern, the four childhood homes, etc. I wanted to make sure the tour included the Casbah Coffee Club. This tour took about 4 1/2 hours and hit every single place I wanted to see. This was a private tour, we were never rushed, with just the two of us in a London cab. We were able to get out at all the major locations and get pictures. We had an excellent tour of the Casbah Coffee Club created by Pete Best’s mother Mo and really, the birthplace of the Beatles. Our driver Dave T. Was great, knowledgeable and very friendly to be with. For a serious Beatles fan, taking a once in a lifetime trip to Liverpool, I felt this tour was money well spent and would highly recommend it.

We had a good time and Robbie, our guide, was great.
A tremendous tour! Even though we are not huge Beatles fans, we had a blast learning about the history of the group and the genesis of so many songs and lyrics. Our guide Tony Mac was phenomenal. He had endless knowledge and stories. Would highly recommend this tour and Tony Mac as a guide.
Beautiful hotel in liverpool Crown Plazq ..love spa to chill ..food great lots of choice..staff friendly and welcoming I will definitely be going back 😊
Found Geoff through Peter’s videos on instagram. I knew from that moment that Geoff would be the perfect guide for us during our trip to Liverpool for the occasion of John Lennon’s 86th birthday anniversary. Geoff picked us up at our hotel and it was as if meeting up with an old friend. We already e-mailed back and forth before the trip so there was already a bond. Geoff showed us many awesome places, told wonderful stories about the lads and showed many old pictures from way back when. He also took great photos of us and of numerous landmarks with my iphone. I can recommend Fab 4 Taxi Tours and especially Geoff to everyone interested in the Beatles. There’s still more to see and hear for us so when we are back in Liverpool I wouldn’t want anyone else guiding us around.
Don’t hesitate if you are thinking about booking with Fab4 Beatles tours. We had a fabulous 3 hours with Peter as our guide, a very informative and knowledgeable tour guide who filled us in with his in depth and personal experience. We were 3 friends who saw the Beatles live in the 60s and thought we knew much of their history. Peter filled in many blanks and put in to context their lives and music. Also we were able to see many iconic features of Liverpool city and the history that related to its development. A must if you are visiting Liverpool.
Incredible tour with John, extremely knowledgeable. Friendly and pleasant demeanor. A little more than some other tours but definitely worth it. Incredible story teller and armed with many rare photos to accompany moments of time at key locations.
Great experience. Our guide Ray (I.e.Greg) was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and entertaining and gave us great history and back stories on the Fab Four. We definitely recommend using this tour company.
Fabulous tour all around the Liverpool homes of the Beatles. Geoff was brilliant- fun, lots of local knowledge & extremely good value for money. Highly recommended.
What a fantastic experience! It's my 3rd time with Fab4 Taxi Tours and I've loved every one of them. Massive Beatles fan and Liverpool FC. Our guide was absolutely awesome. Thank you John for introducing the Beatles not only to my 2 sons but also to me grandson. Cheers for an unforgettable ride.
Keith was phenomenal. I've done many different types of tours in several European countries and Keth was the best guide I have ever had. Saw everything we wanted to see and then some. His knowledge was amazing. I feel sorry for anyone trying to save a few bucks by doing a bus tour (won't mention the name, but it is the MMT). Great way to eliminate one more thing on my bucket list!
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun. He had many interesting stories. He even dropped us off at the train station
Peter our guide was entertaining and very informative. He spent more than the allotted time with us and helped us out with getting into the Cavern Club after our tour finished.
A fabulous and informative private tour in a taxi through the roads and winding streets of Liverpool. Our great tour guide Josh took us to the childhood homes of Ringo, Paul, John and George with all the interesting backgrounds stories about them. And of course, stops at Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. Josh shared wonderful insights about the lyrics of both songs. Plus the places where John and Paul first met. Wonderful tour!
Great tour around Liverpool with Beatles insights. Julie was a great guide, highly recommend her!
Dave was an excellent guide and we had an incredible experience! I definitely recommend this tour to everyone, especially to the Beatles fans, old and young! Dave was waiting for my dad and I at our pick-up place. He greeted us with a warm smile and immediately welcomed us in his taxi. Our tour lasted 4 hours and a half and Dave made sure that we would have the best experience. I am at a loss of words to emphasize how amazing this experience was! Penny Lane, Strawberry Field, Eleanor Rigby… They are now more than just fabulous songs to us: they are now great memories that we’ll cherish forever! Merci encore, Dave!
Our guide, Ray waited for my wife & me at the Lime Street Station, after a last minute change to our pickup location was necessitated by our train coming in late. He could not have been more chill and understanding about it, which gave us an immediate release from our stress, and relaxed us for our lovely Beatles experience. The tour route was very well planned, hitting all four childhood homes along with some important locations where historic moments in the life of the Fab Four took place. Ray was full of lots of information, including many unknown personal and family details which really expanded our Beatles love. We highly recommend the Fab 4 tour, especially with Ray hosting. All the best from Canada, Larry & Leila
My tour was fantastic and my guide was the best. I would enjoy continuing some of our conversations. If permissible please forward my email purplechez@gmail.com
This is the 2nd Beatles tour I have done. The 1st was in a big bus with about 20 people. Our Viatour was just 4 people. Much easier with fewer people.
Keith was our tour guide--very personable and amazing! As a Liverpool native, he had great insights and we could tell he really loved the Beatles as we do. He had great stories and anecdotes about the places, song references, and more. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to see and be in the very places that inspired the songs. Also, seeing the childhood homes was fantastic. Strawberry Field, Penny Lane, the church where John and Paul first met, Eleanor Rigby grave--wow! Loved that it was a private tour. Highly recommend.
Jimmy was quite knowledgeable and friendly too! We enjoyed seeing the sights and learning so much about the Fab Four. It was definitely a worthwhile 3 hour tour!
Ray, our driver and guide, was very informative and pleasant. We actually didn't know what to expect, but he spent additional time giving us background info and made a couple of stops that were not on the schedule. Ray answered a lot of questions and was very personable and patient with those I'm sure he gets a lot of. The length of the stops were perfect. He even stopped for pictures we wanted. Listening to the corresponding songs of many of the stops made it feel so much more personal. I'm sure the cab held more people, but just four of us was perfect. The cost of the tour was right in line with other tours we've done and have booked in other cities. We have a whole new knowledge background of the Beatles due to Ray. Excellent tour ..... worth the time and money. Would definitely do it again.
It was my first time in Liverpool, and the third time for my dad, who is a huge Beatles fan and knows an awful lot about them. We thought he would have heard most stories by now… but Geoff still managed to teach us both so much! From the very first minute, we were hanging on his every word. Three hours flew by thanks to his fantastic stories, knowledge and, most of all, his great sense of humour. We laughed so much! Thank you, Geoff, for an absolutely brilliant tour (and the accompanying serious Insta-husband photo skills). We loved every minute of it! ❤️
Tony was prompt and courteous. He had a wealth of knowledge and was eager to share it. He went out of his way to insure we had great experience.
The taxi arrived promptly at our chosen pick-up point. Our guide Ray was personable, pleasant, informative, patient and had a great sense of humour. He was not in a rush to finish on time and we and our American friends (Beatles fans) really enjoyed the tour.
It was fantastic! I highly recommend this tour. Very friendly and knowledgeable driver/guide. Ask for Tony. He was great.
Needed a short afternoon tour and this exceeded our expectations! Our guide, Paul T., was amazing and quite knowledgeable about the Beatles! Highly recommend this tour and this Driver.
This was a fantastic experience for Beatles fans! Our guide Peter, took us to all of the major sites that I wanted to see on my list: each of the Beatles birthplaces, Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, and the (new) Cavern Club! We were seated very comfortably in a black cab and our guide played Beatles music related to the sites that we visited. Most importantly our guide had personal stories and relationships with some of the band members and the parts of Liverpool that we were visiting. He had a wealth of information and stories far beyond what I thought would be included.
We had a wonderful time. Josh was a great guide through Liverpool. We were able to make it to iconic spots that we hadn't previously seen on larger-sized tours. His personal stories as a Liverpool native were a bonus! I highly recommend and would even do again.
We had a highly entertaining and informative experience with our tour guide, Gary. We visited the Beatle's homes, major sites and statues. Along the way we learned stories of their family, friendships, rise to fame and philanthropic efforts in Liverpool. Highly recommend.
We had the most excellent experience with Geoff. He was so knowledgeable of the Beatles. His car was immaculate, clean and inviting. And he played the Beatles music as we went from to stop to stop after he gave an insight preview as to where we were going next. He made this trip so enjoyable for me and my husband. He was truly a very kind gentleman, and we appreciated the pacing of the tour, his knowledge and how fun he made our day. He even gave us tips as what to do the rest of the day.
Jonathon was a wonderful tour guide. He was very attentive, professional and friendly. We learned a lot about the Beatles. We very much enjoyed our day. We also added on the early childhood years so we spent 4+ hours with Jonhathon.
Paul T was our knowledge guide. We had a gorgeous day and learned a lot more about the Fab4. We visited each of their home sites in addition to places very important to their success. Many of the songs now have a clearer meaning to us. It was a great day! Thank you Paul T!
Our our guide Geoff had an incredible death of knowledge. He was very charming and very accommodating. For example, offering many photo opportunities either by design or requests. The tour guide offered many insights and information that was not widely known. Compared to the cruise ship bus tour, this was far superior. This information comes from some comparisons while speaking to disappointed people who chose the Viking option.
Great experience with Jay!!!
It was wonderful. We saw everything we wanted to see and more. Our guide, Julie was very knowledgeable, pleasant and generous with her time.
Tony McC was a great guide. Loved his energy and all the details he shared. Was very interesting to see the sites and receive the personal service and attention to questions. Only issue was with the addons - didn’t receive tickets for the Cavern or Museum tours but both were accommodating.
Great tour, comprehensive itinerary that goes to a lot of places, includes great facts, very informative, fun music! Jay, our guide, was quite knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting facts with us. He was great! We would definitely recommend this activity!
This was a great tour with an experienced, knowlegeable guide. Small group meant we got to see some of the sights without crowding (and when a bus load arrived, our guide protected us so we could get a picture). We were able to ask questions, perhaps more easily than in a larger group. We did not visit the Cavern Club (but we got a description, and of course we can go later). Ideally, for cost, a full taxi would have bern better (ie 4 to 5 ppl). Overall would thoroughly recommend.
this was a remarkable tour, tailor-made for a knowledgable beatles fan. our guide, Eddie was incredibly well informed, and understood the types of places that i was most interested in seeing. we took our time, as he shared rare photos and told the comprehensive story that i had come to liverpool to hear. bravo to Eddie!
Prompt pickup. Guide’s excellent knowledge, experience and customer first treatments!! The guide will very friendly and enthusiastic!!
Our guide John, was extraordinary. Very well informed and with great knowledge about the Beatles. Very kind. Excelent expirience.
Our guide, Dave, was one of a kind. Extremely knowledgeable and welcoming.
Amazing and interesting tour to the addresses around Liverpool that you really want to see and visit (even the ones you didn't know you would!) as a huge Beatles fan! Our guide Geoff was terrific! :-) He is truly well-informed (also about the fun anecdotes) and it's so much more fun when you feel that you're sharing the same enthusiasm. Great to get to know before take-off what to expect, which places we would go to and in which order - this obviously saved a lot of questions :-) Thank you for a wonderful day, this was for sure the high light of our whole Liverpool trip !!
From start to finish Josh our taxi and tour guide was absolutely fantastic. Josh was kind and considerate and very knowledgeable. He took his time and didnt rush us at all even though he had to fit so much in. Thank you so much Josh and Fab4taxis.
The Fab Four Taxi Tour was, in a word, fabulous! Our guide, John, was friendly and knowledgeable. He made us feel like friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and we've already recommended this tour company to our friends.
Geoff was a fantastic guide for our 3-hour Beatles tour! Saw all of the most important sites with a good car stereo for listening to our Beatles favorites. Highly recommend!
Very knowledgeable and in depth tour with an inside scoop based on local knowledge because our guide has lived in Liverpool his whole life. An excellent tour and I’d highly recommend it to anyone. There were times when I actually felt goosebumps.
I loved every minute of this tour. Being a life time Beatles fan, I wasn’t sure I would learn anything new, but I was wrong! The tour was fantastic and to see exactly where they all grew up and met was beyond exciting Our tour guide Gary was excellent! Knowledgeable, funny, and considerate. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had on vacation!
Paul was an excellent guide on my 3-hour tour. It was just enough time to cover John, Paul, George and Ringo's life and times. Paul helped me in and out of the cab, which I really appreciated, plus I loved being picked up at my hotel. Also, at Strawberry Fields I was introduced to Colin Hanton, the drummer for The Quarrymen, which was exciting. He was very sweet and a good hugger! Jilly and Cathey were fun to meet at the Salvation Army's Strawberry Field's gift shop. Jilly actually sang for me a song by Steve Gale. We met up with another tour group with David as their guide and Paul told me that there were other guides named George and John, so we renamed David Ringo! Altogether I totally enjoyed the whole experience!
