We didn’t stay we went for drinks decided We fancied having a drink on Upstairs Terrace which was very disappointing only a couple of tables which were being taken up a few scattered around chairs with no tables which we pulled up and just held our drink whilst we had it which wasn’t ideal as it was £20 for a small glass of Prosecco, two bags of crisps and a pint of lager. We are not opposed to paying prices for drinks and especially Prosecco, but we Live here and we know the prices and what is an average price which is certainly not £20 wouldn’t go again for this basis however the location is great and the service was great too

Stayed for 2 nights. As always, the rooms are lovely, clean and have everything you need plus a little luxury. The service was excellent, particularly from Becky who resolved our check in issues and was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Eating next door at The Grand was a pleasure. Stunning food, fantastic service. I would recommend trying it.

a great welcome on arrival, and friendly, helpful and really thoughtful staff on reception throughout the whole stay. room was great, comfy and clean. air con a massive bonus. enjoyed the different bar areas which seemed to attract a nice crowd.

First time stopping here for 3 nights first cant fault the location all the shops just across the road 2 supermarkets within walking distance and the arcades not to far either , check in was straight forward it can be abit of a maze to find the rooms as you have to pretty much go through the pub, now onto the rooms they were cosy love the colour scheme and velvet design didnt have a good window view and found a dead spider on the window ledge , unless you are tall goodluck seeing yourself in the mirror when sitting on the bench also as a girl the lighting is pretty bad and the shower pressure is shocking, so would i stay here again possibly for a short period stay however next time i will be bringing possibly a light up mirror and maybe my own shower head as it is electric maybe it will take mine
