Upgraded to a bigger room on check in which was lovely, stayed in the 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment with balcony. Kitchen had everything you could need, apartment was clean, spacious and functional. Served as a perfect base for visiting the city centre. Parked in the parking bee about 5/10 minutes walk away. Very easy to find. Night-time was significantly noisy, we stayed on a thursday so I would expect this to increase on a weekend. The balcony was great, very spacious. The sofa bed was very easy to use and assemble, it splits in half so can use it for just one single or two if required, with the linens required packed in their own bags in the bedrooms. Beds in the bedrooms were comfortable. Air con would have been desirable as the apartment was very warm & couldnt have windows open at night due to noise from neighbouring establishments. Will definitely return & stay here again in the future.

Spacious aparthotel consisting of two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the entire living space is spacious and comfortable. A big bonus is the terrace, which is perfect for enjoying drinks while soaking up the lively atmosphere of the street. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean.
Not a great place to stay if you have mobility issues. The lift was out of order for a prolonged amount of time. Due to this and a member of our party being in a wheelchair we were downgraded from an apartment I originally booked with 2 bathrooms to just having 1 bathroom. I clearly stated at the time of booking we had a wheelchair user where my request was acknowledged. In the end we were placed in Gradwell apartment building directly above Kiku bar which blares music out until 2300hrs Mon-Fri and 0000hrs at weekends. Not great when you have a young family. The apartment itself was unkempt with cigarette burns in the net curtains, a stain and hairs not belonging to us on the duvet, discarded items in the bathroom from another guest etc....Please see attached photos. When I liaised with the manager I found them to be dismissive stating that it was expected to be noisy given we were staying in the heart of the city and we should've opted for the Waterfront location instead which was quieter. She also stated that the Duke St apartments are not accessible and have never been advertised as such, so again blame directed at me. To be fair to all I would recommend in that case that StayCity do not discriminate against physically disabled people and provide the adaptions required for them. I would like to add that we have stayed in many a busy city centre accommodation but have never encountered noise like it. Instead of dumping old pieces of furniture from the apartments in your carpark, I would suggest you decommission Grad 2 apartment and use that as a storage room or in the least, be honest and advertise the noise disturbance so residents can make a timely informed decision to stay. Unfortunately due to this not being done, we could not find suitable alternative external accommodation (StayCity full) as it was too late at night to move. Would not recommend.
What a fantastic place, we had a 3 bed apartment, it was more than what was expected. The living room, dining area and kitchen was fantastic, well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious, 2 with en-suites and a main bathroom.... just fabulous 👌
Really enjoyed our stay! Some tiny aesthetic issues (chipped paint, etc.) but the hotel was super clean, rooms were spacious, beds were really comfortable and location was fantastic, within walking short distance of Liverpool One, Albert Docks, plenty of great restaurants and pubs and both the Liverpool Centre train station (local) and Liverpool Lime Rail Station (country-wide travel)! Would DEFINITELY stay here again!
