After a mix up with another hotel and also it’s very low standards we needed a last minute hotel for two adults and a child near to the beach for a wedding event we was attending, we was then introduced to Fairhaven on palintine road. Upon arrival we met a gentleman called Jim he was a lovely man showed us around and then assisted with our bags to our room, the room was good, small but had everything needed heating, on suit bathroom with shower facilities tv, and a stocked drinks making area with kettle. The room was very clean fresh bedding and towels. Jim honestly couldn’t be a better host he’s a credit to the hotel assisting making sure we had a fan when needed, iron and facilities. He was always there wishing you a good day when leaving but also always welcoming you back upon returning giving it a very homely vibe. Breakfast was also included with a nice cooked selection, or cereals. I had a full fry up and it was so good and very good portion size. Thank you Jim and hotel fairhaven we will definitely return every time we return to Blackpool.

Stayed here following a recommendation. Room 1 was small and whilst appeared clean, was dated and needs a refresh. The shower was okay, but mould growth on the ceiling. Bed had a plastic sheet, so felt like sleeping on a carrier bag. Breakfast was ok, bacon is better quality than the sausage. Short walk to the sea front, but wouldn’t want to walk alone at night. They were a lot of undesirables around (and I mean a lot!!!).
The host was drunk when I got there and he turned me away , didn’t let me into my room which prebooked with booking.com and got the confirmation from them as well. The only reason he told me for turning away was because I didn’t look British. The exact words he used was that I should another room because I am an immigrant. I had my family with me a daughter 3years old and boy 5 years old. I got there after driving 4 hours from Heathrow London. Worst experience of my life
Last minute booking. Ran by loverly and friendly people, very clean. Comfortable beds and great for a family's. We cant wait to come back
Stayed here for 1night with grandson room was small double only 1 window would open other 1 was broken, couldn’t watch telly as the picture was just crackling and then no sound which isn’t good when you have a 10year old with you , as for the cleanliness there was dust on window sills inside the lamps over the bed and cobwebs inside the windows there is also a musty smell and bedroom carpet was dirty. Cannot comment on breakfast as only had scrambled eggs and bacon but it was nice
