Terrible experience with Epic. No access details were provided by the hotel, and only at 10:20pm on the day did we receive a check in form to complete. That form had to be completed 72 hours in advance to get the access code! With our 13 year old daughter in tow, and not wanting to hang around the streets of Liverpool all night, we had to find alternative accommodation. No response after the fact to process a refund. Shame I can’t give this company 0 stars!! Never use them.

Booked the pink roomlast friday for my sisters hen party as we were travelling from Wales, on arrival we struggled to find parking (city centre on a Friday so understandable) we entered the building and it was SPOTLESS. Even the lifts didn't have a mark, was lovely and quite. Sleep wasn't disturbed and was quiet considering we were smack bang in the middle of the city centre. Only minor faults was a broken bathroom handle, little rip in the seating at dining area, and a wet tissue dried on the roof other than that, apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated! The doorman! Absolutely great guy, we had a problem with a couple of youths refusing to move for us to get it and being rude, around 1.30am. He noticed near enough straight away and swiftly got them removed.
On the surface the apartment looked OK, cheap enough didn't expect 5 star. I was in a bedroom with 2 King beds in, I slept up against a patio door that didn't lock, had no curtains that covered the door only covered part of it so no privacy. That's fine only here 3 nights but not fine from a safety aspect. The kitchen dishwasher was a health hazard absolutely filthy and smelt like nothing on earth you've ever smelled before. OK we will wash up in the sink, no plug for sink no draining board! Location was fabulous really great, price was as well. Just a few tweaks would help this business a lot.
The room was stunning and we were super excited when we got there, great location, really spacious. Only to find out a lot of things in the room just did not work. The aircon didn’t work, and it was about 25 degrees that day, the window in the bedroom wouldn’t open, the wifi wouldn’t work properly. The TV also wouldn’t play anything for more than about 20 seconds, which i’m presuming is related to the wifi issue. The sofa bed didn’t seem to come together right and did not flatten out, could have been user error but I couldn’t really see any other way it could have went. The bathroom door also wouldn’t lock, and when we came back after being out at night the bathroom drains stank really bad of rotten eggs. The rubbish bin lid wouldn’t close either, which is not a big deal but at that point we just found it funny like ‘of course that’s broken too’. Really was a shame that just so many things had problems with them. We did find the room was very clean so that was a positive.
EPIC fail! The accommodation was tatty and poorly maintained. The sofa was covered in stains, marks all over the walls. The kitchen had dents in the wall where the peddle bin had been smashed repeatedly into the wall. Every room had a fire door which wouldn't stay open, so felt like you were shut in. By far the worst thing, black hair all up the walls in the shower, definitely hadn't been cleaned. Tried to make contact with the host to no avail, we were completely ignored. Stay well clear, by far one of the worst places I've ever stayed.
