I had a very comfortable 2 night stay for work, starting with a warm and helpful welcome from Colleen on reception. A very well-appointed room, comfortably furnished, large bathroom and ample plug sockets and other facilities. Room service was prompt and the meal excellent. And superb location - easy access to Lime Street, the Waterfront, the wonderful Walker Gallery and the cathedrals. I'm so pleased that Double Tree exceeded my expectations
We had a wonderful stay at double tree hilton hotel. Staff were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. We was given hot cookies on arrival which was a really nice treat. Our room was very spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our breakfast in the morning lots of different foods to try. We're looking forward to our next stay. 😁🍳👌
⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Really 3.5 stars) The DoubleTree Liverpool is an absolutely stunning building in a fantastic location, and it has the potential to be one of the city’s best hotels. The staff were consistently friendly, professional and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, and the food was good too. Unfortunately, the hotel is let down by its maintenance. There are too many poor repairs, and the bedrooms and corridors are looking tired and scruffy in places. It’s a shame because such a beautiful historic building deserves much better care and investment. Overall, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the excellent service, but with better maintenance this could easily be a five-star experience.
What a lovely night. Made this way with the help of the great team at Hilton. The reception manager maggy is such a lovely person. She went above and beyond for my family to enjoy our stay. Upgraded us twice for a small fee and then we met the owner of the business. What an amazing kind gentleman. Safe to say we will be staying agin when we get away from the kids. Thank you maggy and the team. You made it a very special night
Stayed here recently for work and it struck a really nice balance between business-friendly and a bit more personality than your usual chain hotel. The location is spot on for getting around Liverpool, which made the work side of the trip easy. The meeting spaces are well set up, and everything runs smoothly enough that you can focus on what you’re there to do. What I liked most though is that it doesn’t feel overly corporate. The décor has a bit of character, the atmosphere is more relaxed, and it’s a good place to host clients without it feeling too formal or stiff. Service was solid throughout—professional, quick, and no fuss. All in all, a reliable choice for business travel, but with enough style to make it a bit more enjoyable than the standard option.
