Overall, our stay was nice. The room was cosy, clean, and comfortable, with all the essential amenities. The staff were cooperative and helpful, particularly Alexandra, who welcomed us warmly with a smile and great hospitality. Our main concern was security. The elevators did not require a room key card to access the guest floors, meaning anyone could easily reach the accommodation areas. This is an important security issue that should be addressed to improve guests’ safety and privacy. We also requested daily housekeeping at check-in, especially as we were travelling with children. Unfortunately, our room was not serviced throughout our three-night stay. In addition, the air conditioning did not cool the room sufficiently, even when set to 18.5°C, the lowest available setting. Despite these shortcomings, we enjoyed our stay in general and would recommend the hotel, particularly if these issues are addressed.

We had breakfast at Olivier's Restaurant, located on the first floor of the Delta Hotel. It is easy to access by both lift and stairs. The food was fresh and of good quality, although the variety was fairly average for the price. The breakfast included baked beans, hash browns, sausages, fruit salad, yoghurt, pastries, several types of cake and a selection of drinks. The coffee was very good, and one of the highlights was the choice of freshly cooked omelettes, which were delicious. The restaurant was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the staff were polite, attentive and provided excellent service. Breakfast cost £18.50 per person, and at that price I expected a wider selection of food. The only downside was that, as the windows were open, there were quite a few flies in the dining area, and some had landed on the cheese. After I mentioned it to a member of staff, the cheese was replaced immediately, which I appreciated. Overall, we had a pleasant breakfast experience, with good food and excellent service, although there is room for improvement in the breakfast selection and keeping flies out of the restaurant.
Brilliant hotel—highly recommend! We had a wonderful stay at the Delta Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city, as everything is just a short walk away. Our rooms were perfect—clean, modern, and very comfortable. We also ordered room service and it was very good, fast, and tasty. We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Liverpool!
As a lifetime Titanium member, I have become spoiled it seems with expectations of the Marriott brand. Although I like this hotel for its location and have stayed here before, I found a small disappointing thing that I simply can’t let go. The lobby offers beverages (water/soda), but not able to charge to the room. Seems like a simple pivot, but takes a basic expectation and makes it something different than a traditional Marriott experience. The staff member informed me it’s a newer change and did not even offer an option of going to the hotel bar to purchase a water to charge to the room, which makes me curious what level of customer support to meet expectations exist. Instead of a solution I am aware of, I was frustrated this was even a need to discuss. If you are a Marriott property, anything sold in your business should be an option of a room charge. This is a convenience issue for your guests as well as a business charge option for your business. Still a great hotel, but sad the basics of a hotel was overlooked for guests. Look forward to another Marriott option in Liverpool next visit to better support what I believe is a good brand even when places like this hotel fail to meet the expected minimum standard. Do better Delta Liverpool.
It wasn't too hard to find, as I could see it from the steps of Liverpool Lime Street station. Its the first time I have stayed in a hotel room, with an ice bucket. The room was very spacious, and had a lovely chair to sit in. The bed was very comfortable too. The TV even had access to Netflix, so no need to watch on a secondary device. The breakfast was very tasty, they had really nice Sausages, Scrambled Eggs and crispy Hash Browns. When I got to my room, I discovered a lack of plug sockets with the correct pins near my bed. I explained to the staff that I have a CPap machine, and to their credit, they supplied me with an extension cable. And when that one wasn't long enough, they provided me with the longest one they had. My room however, was never serviced during my stay. No fresh bedding, towels, or glasses, which was frequently annoying. Nor was the bin ever emptied. But despite that, I really enjoyed my stay here.
