Beautiful locations and lunch was especially fantastic. Our guide, Marques, felt like he was part of our family. He went out of his way to make it a special experience for us. He was also very knowledgeable and in a very positive way.

A fun experience with a good selection of wines from all over Portugal, so we learned some things. Good tasting portions plus the cheese, crackers and meats. Would recommend it.

This was a great tasting—2 hours where we explored 6 unique wines and learned about the different wine regions of Portugal. The wine and the cheese/food pairings were amazing. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience with a laid back and personalized feel.

Unfortunately we arrived late but that didn’t impact our experience. The 2 hours sailed by as we enjoyed the wine, food and especially the other guests. Nice little setting and wonderful Portugal wines.

This wine tasting was an excellent intro to the wines of Portugal. We got to try 3 white wines and 3 red wines from different districts, together with a nice charcuterie board with cheese, salami, ham, figs and crackers. Really friendly and helpful guide, that answered our questions and told us interesting anecdotes of the wines. The tasting was around 2 hours long and took place in a small cozy wine bar.

Good and cosy way of getting to know Portugeese wine accompanied with food. Well worth your time!

We had a delightful wine and cheese tasting at From The Vine. Caio was a warm and entertaining host. He was very informative on the wines he served - explaining the wines and the regions in Portugal where the wines were produced. It was an intimate space - well designed and comfortable. I highly recommend this for anyone in Lisbson seeking to learn about Portuguese wines.

Caio was our amazing host. He was engaged, energetic and knowledgeable. The 2 hour experience went by in a snap. We sampled 8 wines from white to red. The pairing with meat, cheese, fruit and nuts truly complemented the flavors in the wine.

Really nice relaxed atmosphere. Our host ran through six regional wines gave a good level of information whilst giving time to relax and speak with other guests. Two hours flew past. The cheese and cured meat selection was perfect. We took the opportunity to purchase two bottles of our favourite wines.

Ciao was a great host and very knowledgeable about each wine served. We had a group of 8, including many very knowledgeable wine folks and he was able to teach us all about the nuances of wines from Portugal. We had a great experience and purchased several wines to enjoy during our vacation in Portugal. Great job. I highly recommend this experience.

We had an amazing time at the wine tasting led by Caio, he is so knowledgable and was really happy to hear all of our questions and was extremely honest and personal with his answers. We felt that we really got our money’s worth with the time, effort and quality of the food and wine provided during this experience. We left feeling like we knew much more about wine than we did before, and now are even bigger fans of the wine Portugal offers - thank you Caio

From The Vine shop- the very personable Kyle set up a terrific tasting of 6 wines from 6 areas, with generous charcuterie, for our group of 8, who were in Lisbon on a cruise. And on the day all power was off throughout Spain and Portugal! We learned a lot, and also had a very fun time! Very worthwhile tour!

I have enjoyed many activities on Viator and this was our least favorite. The room was cramped ( don’t go on a hot day ) and the lunch consisted of a small charcuterie plate, crackers, no bread and a poor selection of items.The wines were nothing special and the host ran thru each region. I would recommend spending a little more and going to one of the wonderful wineries nearby for an in-depth tasting and explanation of Portuguese wines. There are also several excellent wine bars in town where for less money you can enjoy excellent wine and great food. The other guests were delightful and that was the best part of the experience.

We have done wine tastings around the world for over 30 years. This was the best. Recommend to anyone who enjoys a glass.

Myself and my wife were the only two people on our wine tasting experience. Which in my opinion was probably a loss for anyone else who could have attended. Our host was extremely knowledgeable and down to earth. It was great to have such an insightful hour learning not only about Portuguese wine, but wine in general. We tried 3 different wines over the hour. I especially enjoyed the final Villa Alvor which is a heavier wine and more the type of wine I usually prefer. I noted a previous review about the lack of Port. We’ve done Port tasting in Porto and I would seriously recommend this wine tasting experience to anyone who might be thinking about it.

Very fun and entertaining host, with six delicious wines on offer for the tasting. He even let us stay a little bit longer as we were the only two people there, and it was my partner’s birthday. We were both very happy with the experience and are looking forward to our next wine tasting.

Kyle was excellent! He made us feel very welcome and the whole experience very personal! Would recommend for people baiting for a long weekend, short session but very informative and most importantly lots of wine!
