With the helpful and knowledgeable guide of Rachele, we did our tour of the most ancient area of Lisbon. Although not as monumental as Belém, we really enjoyed our visit.

One of the best experiences. Alfama, a wonderful place sometimes secret that thanks to Rachel's skill we discovered! An afternoon up and down in the history of Lisbon, beautiful even in the rain. Cristina accompanied us on the free tour of lisbon and was very stimulating and always ready to answer our questions without ever getting tired despite the remarkable temperatures of the afternoon! In the morning we also saw the belem area but the Tower was under renovation and the tour included only the church not the monastery so I preferred the free tour but it is personal. So we recommend it!

We participated in the free tour of Lisbon and the paid tour (15 euros) of the Alfama district. Both pleasant tours and guides available and prepared. Recommendation to participate in their tours absolutely, turning alone you risk losing details of the city and important historical notes. We really enjoyed the Alfama tour! A small note: I found the free tour a bit too focused on advertising paid tours.

The guide was very prepared and knew how to dose the information well, alternating historical information (impeccable) with funny anecdotes. The Alfama district is beautiful, but visiting it with a guide who makes you discover its hidden corners and explains why some of the details are really priceless.

We discovered this possibility by pure chance, walking through Praca do Rossio we saw a tricolor umbrella and stopped to ask for info. The next day we decided to join the Alfama tour. Let's start from the cost, 15 euros for almost 3 hours of guided tour is really nothing. Anna -our guide- was very careful to mix with the right balance the pace of walking and breaks in one of the steepest neighborhoods of Lisbon. The tour left in a very pleasant way especially for the enormous ability to deepen that Anna has shown to have. Truly a highly recommended experience!

Lisbon is a wonderful city, but paper guides don't do it justice. I highly recommend being accompanied through the streets of this beautiful capital by the guys on the tour, their stories will make your experience richer and unforgettable. We did the free tour of baixa and we loved it so much that we decided to do also those of alfama and belem (25 euros each) Our guides were Elvira and Anna. We could not have been luckier! Anna, with whom we did two out of three tours, is sweet and makes you fall in love with the city, its sky and its scents and colors. Thank you so much!

After a few hours that I had arrived there in Lisbon I met Ludovica. He explained what it was and I immediately decided to participate. I did the afternoon free tour with Alessandro. Tomorrow morning the belem tour with Elvira. And the next day again the alfama tour always with Elvira. I found we are well organized tours and the preparation / expertise of the guides good. Elvira is absolutely prepared and competent. The duration and routes of the tours are well calibrated, I think. Choosing to travel by public transport, when necessary, also allows you to have low costs! Everything is perfect.
