Tagus River Small-group Cruise In Lisbon With Wine And History.

We had a great time on the sailboat. Our guides provided great information along with wine and pastel de nata on the cruise. They gave a great overview of the area while we were sailing. It was very enjoyable. I would do it again.

The boat captain and crew were wonderful - very friendly, knowledgeable, and made every effort to ensure the passengers were well taken care of. The views were terrific and we got some great pictures of the sunset on the river.

My husband and I booked this sunset cruise on the Tagus River for our family and my mom's 73rd birthday. It was such an amazing experience viewing the city of Lisbon from a different vantage point. Pedro and Anna were dedicated captains and provided us information on the iconic places including history/culture and architecture of Lisbon. Pedro and Anna were truly a pleasure! Anna was warm, kind and so attentive to our every need, she made us feel comfortable immediately with her warm smile and caring personality, she immediately served us refreshments of vinho verde, water and juice and the delicious Pastel de Nata. I highly recommend Pypas Cruises with Anna and Pedro and I look forward to booking more adventures on my next trip to Lisbon. Thank you for making my mom's birthday extra special and your kind birthday wishes! Pedro went as far as calling his friend at Terraco de Belem Restaurant to try and get us a reservation for dinner. This crew and sail far exceeded my expectations. A sincere thank you to you both!

Great tour with history and delicious vino Verde and pasteles de nata.

We had a wonderful sail with Pedro and Ana! The boat was comfortable and we enjoyed the vinho verde and the company. Although it was fairly cloudy, the sun did make a brief appearance, and we had the absolute joy of seeing a large pod of dolphins playing in the river near us for quite a long time! Pedro told us about the things we were seeing, and he gave us great suggestions for dinner and for the next few places we are headed. Highly recommended!

It was a beautiful night! The wine kept coming and was paired with pastries! We had a great time and appreciated the historical facts along the way!

Zero stars. Customer service and communication were terrible. Not only were they not helpful when I needed them to help, they then made a point to blame me (everyone ELSE found it) for not getting to the right spot on time. Based on the address, Google Maps had taken me to a different place 10' away by foot, so I walked it. I NEVER RECEIVED the email that it was next to the monument – that would've been helpful. The coordinates sent in the final email did not open in Google Maps or in a browser. When I called, they could have told me right then where to be and I would have made the boat. The guy could not get off the phone fast enough and said he would send me a photo by ‎WhatsApp. I never got it, though he showed me a screenshot later of what he supposedly sent. All I received was an email that said "gate one, we can only wait for five minutes." What was most infuriating were his emails afterwards that were defensive, argumentative, and accusatory. My sixth tour in Portugal. 5x perfect with lots of communication and pleasantness, and this tour, where they couldn't be bothered.

Pedro and Ana were wonderful! The trip was one of a kind. Loved getting some history with the sail. I did a lot of research prior to booking and this is one of the only boat tours I saw that had history and allowed more than one glass of wine 😉 would recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon!

An unforgettable sunset cruise! We sipped wine on the front of the boat, soaking up golden views of Lisbon. Anna’s stories brought the city to life, and her food and sightseeing tips were spot-on. Carlos made the evening smooth and relaxing from start to finish. Absolute magic!

We would highly recommend Pypas Cruises. We experienced wonderful views and even saw some dolphins! The staff were amazing, friendly, informative, and very helpful. The drinks and snacks were a bonus. They even had blankets for when the sun was going down and it got chilly!

Lovely cruise at sunset with wine and an amazing crew. Anna and Carlos were the most excellent! Anna’s insightful commentary as we cruised was the perfect compliment to Lisbon’s beautiful architecture. We even saw dolphins and Carlos turned the boat around so we could enjoy them and watch them frolicking in the sunset. What a perfect sunset cruise!

We loved this sunset tour with Pedro and Anna, they were so hospitable and kind. It was a great mix of history and unique views of the city against the painted sunset sky. It was a highlight of our time in Lisbon and I would consider it a must during your time here!

Sunset cruise was perfect way for our 2 couples to balance day of walking amongst the Lisbon sights, and seeing from different perspective ….along with learning much of the landmark and seafaring history. Enough room to move around the boat, with welcoming hosts and complimentary Portuguese wine. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this trip! My husband and I chose to book this sunset boat tour on the first day we landed in Lisbon. Great way to see the city, relax a bit, and fight jet lag. The sites are beautiful and they were so knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot of history and about architecture, and just enjoyed a lot of beauty. Highly recommend!

Just got back from a fantastic time on the sunset cruise with Pedro and Anna. There was a slight mix up with our booking however this didn’t take away from our experience. They were great hosts and this tour was great if you want a more private sunset experience. We would highly recommend!

The views were amazing! We went our first night in Lisbon and it was a great way to start our vacation! Our Captain was Pedro and we learned a lot about the history, people and culture of Portugal from him! Ana was a great mate too! The wine and Pastel de nata were nice touches! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the sunset cruise with wine tour! The captain and first mate were top notch, super friendly, knowledgable and generous with the vinho verde! Yummy wine, great people and killer views of the city from the river made this a very special treat! The group and captain was also very patient as we didn't receive the email communication for exact location so we were dropped off nowhere near the correct spot AND there is a lot of traffic during the evening so we were a few minutes late in getting to the sailboat. Plan accordingly and arrive early if it's a sunset tour so you don't hold up the tour as we did! Also, no matter how warm the day, it is cold on the water so dress/prepare accordingly.

This was a great 2 hour sail out in Lisbon. Great views of Belem from the water and all the wine you can drink! Our sailors (Pedro and Ana) were awesome! Highly recommend.

The sunset boat cruise was amazing. The views were stunning and it was a great way to see Portugal from the water. Our captain was very knowledgeable and funny. They provided blankets for when it got chilly, a pastry and wine. Overall, the cruise was amazing and well worth it.

Great sunset tour with Antonio and Carlos! They were very welcoming, made sure our wine glasses were never empty and were very informative of the history and sites in Lisbon. The directions to the meetup area were perfect and greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this tour company and captain and first mate.

This is an excellent tour run by a very professional and locally knowledgeable crew . We received great instructions regarding where and when to meet and all the organizing was efficient and precise . The hospitality was also amazing and we were made very welcome and comfortable .

We would highly recommend this excursion. We have been on this sunset cruise twice with different family members and everyone truly enjoys it. We have sailed with different captains and both were excellent hosts pointing out the historical sites and providing interesting information about both Lisbon, the country of Portugal and its people. Smooth sailing, beautiful sites, some nice Vinho Verde wine and traditional Pastel da Natas were also,provided. We actually got to see a few dolphin pods on our trip in July which is a highlight. It’s so wonderful to see Lisbon from the river and get a totally different view.

So nice on a small group cruise. 4 of us and everybody loved the wine and they kept our glasses full. Also given a famous custard snack which was great also. Sunset perfect and we got a whole lot of history from the captain and his helper. Perfect night, perfect cruise!

A really interesting and fun sunset cruise on a fairly small sailing boat with @ 12 others. The commentary was excellent and the vinho Verde flowed. One of the highlights of our trip to Lisbon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our sunset cruise with Captain Pedro and Amanda. The water was smooth, the wine was free flowing, we saw a lot and learned even more. I’m glad we made time for this evening excursion.

What an enjoyable experience with a great captain and first mate. They gave such detailed information about the sights proving their exceptional knowledge of both the sea and the historic landmarks. We were lucky and got to see a pod of dolphins which was a highlight. It does get cold on the water, so long pants and jacket are a must. They do have blankets aboard, but I would still recommend bringing a good jacket.

The sunset sailboat cruise was absolutely perfect. The captain and first mate were informative, kind, and personable. They thought of everything from blankets when it got chilly, to the endless white wine, to the information about the sights that we were seeing.

Excellent experience. See Lisbon from a different perspective. Cruise leaves from Belem, sailed downriver beyond the Tower of Belem then upstream all the way to the Praça de Comercio and Aflame. The sailed across the river to sail downstream as the sun was setting. Pedro and Ana were fantastic!

This was amazing! We had the best time. The tour was really good, with heaps of explanations on the different monuments surrounding the ocean we were floating on. The guides were super nice and the wine was flowing! Highly recommended.
