Jess and Josh are the best! Totally inexperienced surfers when we arrived they promised we’d be standing on our boards by the end and they were not wrong. Brilliant tutors made it such a joy. Absolutely brilliant fun, what an amazing group experience. Surfings the source, can change your life. Swear to god.

Arrived feeling a little bit anxious as it was my first surfing experience. But the atmosphere couldn’t have been more relaxed and inviting. After getting fitted out in my suit we had a fun warm up and then some practical tips. It’s a 2 hr lesson, so you get a good amount of time in the water after the practice on the beach. Jorge and Jessica were incredible teachers. They have the magic touch and it’s was 100% fun all the time. Don’t get me wrong you have to work hard and put the effort in. But the rewards come when you get up for the first time and feel on top of the world. Come, experience it for yourself and you won’t be disappointed. It’s therapy for the mind and body

We had such an amazing day, for a bunch of rowdy beginners, the class was brilliant. Firstly, the beach is stunning, no sharks or deadly fish for anyone paranoid. Secondly Tiago and his mate were brilliant instructors, you can see how much they loved their jobs and surfing and sharing it with all of us. I would without a doubt go back and do this again. 100% Recommend for work trips, families and friend groups.

This school is super well located, here you will find a crowdless sea to explore your surfing. The whole team is super fun and easy-going. The equipment is 5stars and the teachers are really focused on making you evolve. I highly recommend it ;)

We've been in Portugal for the first time and decided to go to Caparica to surf for the first time ever. Duckdive Team is Super-professional and perfectly prepared for teaching to beginners like us and really committed to involve the people to participate actively and have fun together. Surf is not easy but they support you and they push you to ...never give up! They are also really nice people on the human side, very kind and available to help and give us also useful information about nice places to visit around Caparica and Lisbon area. I had a great trip to Portugal attending a yoga/surf retreat - the surf/SUP was organised by DuckDive. Tiago's surf instructor (Rui) was incredibly friendly and helpful during the first surf lesson - board and wetsuit were provided. The house was spacious with a lovely outside pool and dining area - we had great evenings hanging out with Tiago and the other instructors. I will especially miss Dive the dog who joined in our yoga sessions :( Tiago arranged for a stand up paddle-boarding excursion for our group which I really enjoyed and was a highlight of the trip. Tiago was very welcoming and spoke very good english. Highly recommend using DuckDive and would be sure to use them again if I return to Portugal.

We had the time of our lives with the team, very professional and reliable. The instructors were great and made it a real adventure for us. We were a team of 15, most of us surfing for the first time. Super recommended, cannot wait to go back there again!

Tiago's team was very welcoming and we felt immediately comfortable being introduced to the world of surfing. The instructors were super friendly and helpful, people were standing on the boards within the first lesson! The surf house was spacious and comfortable for the 15 of us. We had a BBQ and house party on the last night, it felt like we had made some new friends.

We went for a few days and had a fantastic time with all the instructors, who were patient, knowledgeable and got all of us up on the boards in no time. The location is fantastic, beautiful beaches and great surf, and I will definitely come back! thanks to Tiago for making it a fab holiday

I had an incredible experience with Tiago and his staff! The class is composed of a warm up (essential to be prepared for the hard work), a briefing on the sand to learn the basic movements and then practice in the water. The instructors were very helpful and focused on each one of us, and helped us surfing also on the small waves we had the first day. Incredibly, I was able to stand on the board from the first class, which I didn't expect at all as I had never done something similar before, and that was all thanks to our amazing instructors! I will be back for sure!! Thank you guys!

We went to Duckdive as a group of beginners and we all got one on one coaching. The instructors were very welcoming and the facilities were great in a beautiful beach with our own private area for surfing. The accommodation was amazing but the best thing was the people who were so friendly.

Once you try it, you´ll never leave (or you'll always come back) I went to Duckdive for one fun afternoon with friends. That was almost a year ago. By now it is my every-weekend-home. Its value is in its location on a beautiful beach with great access to Lisbon (car or even public transport) with various good and affordable beach restaurants and bars right next to it; the material; the offer suitable for every level, every need and every preference; and, especially, the people. Not only the instructors are very professional and competent technically as well as on human level but also the overall atmosphere of the school is exactly what you look for when you want to enjoy, chill, learn, evolve,... be happy.

Amazing experience! I went for the first time alone, without ever having tried SURF and now I am assiduous with my friends! Exceptional Mood, dynamic professionals and classes every day of the year! Surf family! Summarize perfectly my experience with the Duckdive team. They make me feel at home and as a family, they welcomed me with open arms, they taught me, they caressed me being all an inspiration for me. They got me to believe, even despite the (my) preconceived ideas to start surfing that there is age limit = I started with 49 years, with all the natural talent =no 😜 , level of physical preparation for surfing = 0 . At Duckdive school I have taken surf lessons, I love the mentality, the lessons are valuable and also relaxed, the sea is easy for beginners, and the beach is great for a grilled fish. I'd like to come back.

When looking for a surf school you can not only think about the goal but the whole path that you go to that same goal. At DuckDive I can guarantee you will find super professional people, who comply with all the rules both in the covid season and in all the others. Professionals who do not see us as a number but as a Cover with a name, who know how to give due attention to everyone regardless of level and age. I've been in this school for 8 years and it's not by chance, here I found people who taught me the basics of losing my fears and overcoming both my fears and reaching what they knew was possible even if it was something tireless for me. Here I have learned to evolve continuously, here I have had support, and I have, who can see, is attentive, who has the patience that sometimes you have to go back and teach again until you are acquired. Besides a school, of super dedicated professionals here I found a family of people who wear the shirt for the school and the passion they have in the profession they chose. The surf school is located on the coast of Caparica, in a scenario of extraordinary natural beauty, with waves conducive to surfing. The school is super well equipped in terms of material and the team, in addition to being fun, is technically excellent, helping students to progress and develop their skills quickly. The Mood is super relaxed and familiar - every class is a party. I've been a surf school student for about 2 to 3 years.

At duckdive in addition to being super attentive and careful with all students, from the arrival to the delivery of material, they work under the basis of confidence between teacher and student allowing people like me who have some fear to go to love surfing. It's a professional surf school where teachers know what they're doing. They are good observers, correct the technique and follow. Very good for those who want to learn seriously and evolve!! (School also with very good wave! I recommend!)

I'm going to do a rating that is worth three, after all, it's me, my daughter and wife that take classes at Duck Dive. We’ve tried on other Spots, but none were as captivating and worried about the quality of the lessons as they did. All instructors are attentive and especially Rui, Joana and Tiago. Spot very well equipped for all levels of surfing. Just compliments the Duck Dive team!! Congratulations.
