Small-group Sailing Tour On The Tagus River From Lisbon

Highly recommend. 7 friends who had the whole of front of yacht, felt like a private sail! Guide was happy to supply rose wine as our welcome drink, we all really enjoyed the trip and sightseeing.

A great relaxing trip down the Tagus river. Friendly and informative host with lots of history and stories about Portugal. Would recommend.

Our family had a fabulous sunset sail in Lisbon. The crew, boat, and food were wonderful. Portuguese hospitality and warmth at every turn. A must-do when in Lisbon.

We had such an amazing boat trip in Lisbon! The two hosts onboard, James and Raul were an absolute pleasure to spend time with - friendly, welcoming, service-minded and always attentive to our wishes and needs throughout the trip. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun from start to finish, and they really made us feeling taken care of. We enjoyed it so much that we decided during the trip to extend the booking by an extra hour, and they made it possible without any hassle. Highly recommeded if you want a memorable and personal experience on the water in Lisbon!

You should not in my opinion visit Lisbon without going out on a boat in the Tagus River. There were only 3 passengers our two hour trip and so a few of us got to tack the boat. Easy signup and boarding. Just loved seeing all the history around us with the wind and sun in my face

We loved our two hour tour by water from Belem! Our captain and mate were super fun and shared a lot of historic facts about the waterfront. Very relaxing and would highly recommend!!

Our trip from Lisbon to Oeiras Beach with Tagus Cruises was fantastic. From the start, the crew was friendly and welcoming. The boat was comfortable and had amazing views of the river and the city. Sailing along the Tagus River, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and relaxing breeze. When we reached Oeiras Beach, we had time to enjoy the sun and the sea. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this sailing trip for anyone wanting to see Lisbon’s coast from the water in a relaxed and fun way.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Wonderful crew Martin / Ronaldo (i think?). Excellent guides and historians as well as navigators of our cruise. We love to visit Lisbon every few years, and always include a sailing experience as a way to relax, meet other folks from around the world, and see a different viewpoint of one of the most wonderful cities in Europe

My 5 year old and husband and I loved our sailboat ride! It was relaxed and the crew were so kind and welcoming. My son loved sitting at the front of the boat, lounging on the cushions and watching the other boats and seeing the sights!

We had the best day on the JetStream, we made a tour for 4 hours for my dad's 65th birthday. All the crew was very kind, they really made our day special! We really recommend Taguscruises, they respond quickly and have very nice & clean boats.

Although it was a rainy day, we loved our sailing tour. The staff were very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the sights we saw around Lisbon. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable despite the weather. Such an enjoyable way to learn about this beautiful city. We also appreciated the drinks and snacks :)

The tour was great. We joined 4 others on the mono-hull sailboat. Motored out to the river and then set sail with Captain and first mate. We would definitely do this again. The knowledge of the area and stories of the history added to the fun trip and the views were incredible.

Amazing outing. We did a private 3-hour sunset tour for 5 of us. The vessel was clean, well-equipped, and seaworthy. The skipper (Philip) and first mate (Pedro) were absolutely great hosts, capable, know the area well, and always safe even though the conditions were somewhat rough and shifty that day. Highly recommend.

The crew was amazing, the boat was great and it was overall a 10 out of 10 experience. The staff took the time to answer our questions and really made us feel comfortable.

Very nice experience with Tagus Cruises in Lisbon. It was a pleasant trip along the Tagus river. Rui and Bruno were excellent hosts and ensured a seamless experience for the guests. Even though it was scattered rain showers at times everybody had a great time. Me and my wife would highly recommend Tagus Cruises for a different view of Lisbon from the river.

Wonderful experience! Do not hesitate to take this trip. Under full sail on the return trip. Alex and Gille made the trip the experience it was. They were super hosts and wonderful sources of information. If music, wine and beer sounds like fun while sailing on a boat this is your trip. It also shows you some wonderful sights from the river that you wouldn’t see otherwise. Highly recommended

We were fortunate enough to be able to book at last minute afternoon sail along the Targus. The staff were helpful, informative and attentive and we had a lot of fun. Joao and Thiago were top drawer and gave us a lot of historical knowledge and recommendations around the city. My only complaint is that it was too short! This is a must do in Lisbon nothing beats the sailing vibe and seeing a great city from the water.

We had such an amazing time on the sailing cruise w Francisco and Carlota, was definitely a highlight of our time in Lisbon. We had our 7 and 3 yr old daughters with us and they had a blast. The boat was comfortable, the views incredible and Francisco and Carlota went above and beyond providing a really fun afternoon for everyone. Definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Lisbon!

This was the second time we had such a cruise on the Tagus River. Francisco and Manuel form an excellent cruise and it was a pleasure to spend these 4 hours on the Tagus River. The sun was there and we had between 20 and 40 km/h of wind. What an experience ! Not the least because Francisco offered us to be part of the crew and to participate in the piloting of the boat, including at the helm of our magnificent sailboat. It was extraordinary and we highly recommend not to miss that opportunity to admire the city from the River if you are in Lisbon for a few days. We will be back! 5*

We did a private 4 hour sailing tour on the Tegus River. We have 4 children, ages 7-16, and they had a very good time. Francisco and Theresa were very good, engaging and friendly. The sailboat was very well maintained as well.

A small group on a smaller sailboat (43’). Friendly captain & crew who were good sailors and pointed out the main sights. We sailed up the river and under the bridge then back down & used the motor to get back into the marina. Smooth ride and fantastic views of the city which you can only get from the water

It was a great experience for all the family. The kids loved, especially the friendly crew. 2 hours well spent exploring these unique views of Lisbon, laughing and drinking under our beautiful sun! Next time we'll want to make a private tour and anchor next to a beach for a handful of jumps to the water.

Amazing! The skipper was so lovely, nothing was a bother to him. He answered any and all questions and we had such a lovely time, making sure we were happy at every stage of the tour. Even let some of us have a turn on the wheel! (Supervised of course!:) )We stopped and dropped anchor near a lovely beach so we could go for a swim, it was so beautiful, and they made sure to provide for us a free beer or soft drink, more if we wanted for a small price, however you’re able to bring whatever drinks and snacks you wanted which was great. We were able to relax and take in the sun and the breeze, with a dip in the water to cool down. The yacht we sailed in was incredible, so beautiful! More than enough room for our group of 10. Our group thoroughly enjoyed themselves, this company were so quick and accommodating with the booking and taking payment. We can’t wait to do it all again!

My favourite part was travel with my kids, because it is a first experiente to travel with a boat, and they like very much!

The sailing tour was the highlight of my Lisbon visit. The crew was amazing and the boat was really nice and clean. I got to try to steer the boat which was a really fun experience. I would recommend to bring a jacket since it's quite windy on the river. All in all very good value for the money. I would go again.

We.had a fabulous experience sailing the river with Captain Miguel and Neves. Both were very friendly welcoming my family into their boat and encouraged my daughters aged 10 to 14 to sail (with their close supervision obviously). Both Miguel and Neves gave us lots of information on how to enjoy more the Capital. Drinks were served and we all relaxed in friendly conversation. Highly recommend their service.
