We highly recommend this tour! Our guide Francisco was wonderful, very knowledgeable about all the history and nature. We loved the combination of seeing the palace (early morning, so still reasonably quiet) and then a nice hike with absolutely stunning views.

Our day trip from Lisbon to Sintra and Pena Palace was absolutely fantastic, largely thanks to our incredible guide, Flavio. From the start, he brought energy and enthusiasm, setting a perfect tone for the day. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Portuguese history and culture, which made the whole experience feel both educational and enjoyable. The journey from Lisbon to Sintra was smooth, and Flavio kept us entertained with interesting facts about the area, the history of Sintra, and some local legends. Sintra itself felt like a step back in time—a magical, charming village surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful architecture. Flavio knew all the best spots for photos and took us to some hidden gems off the beaten path, making the experience even more unique. Our visit to Pena Palace was the highlight of the trip. Flavio’s insights about the palace’s history, architectural styles, and the lives of the royals who once lived there made the visit come alive. He gave us ample time to explore the vibrant terraces and enjoy the breathtaking views over Sintra and beyond. The palace itself is stunning, but having a guide who could share the stories behind every colorful wall and intricate detail elevated the experience tremendously. The tour of the outside grounds of the palace and the hike to Cabo da Roca were both great. Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of fun facts along the way. The logistics were a bit chaotic as we were together with another group that was doing the palace and wine tasting and there were a couple of times where we had to wait for our transportation but overall a worthwhile tour.

We enjoyed our trip to Sintra and the hike that followed. We are a family of two adults and two older teens. The pacing was good, the amount of time spent in each location was just right. Pedro was very informative and friendly and really enjoyed showing us his hometown. The views during the hike to the beach were stunning. It was too windy to swim but it was still a beautiful destination. Highly recommend.

Rui was a great guide, very informative and friendly. We learned a lot of history on our tour of Sintra and even found a lost dog that we brought back to the owner on our hike. A great experience and would highly recommend for anyone who wants to connect with nature while learning more about Sintra.

Went in the jeep tour to sintra with johnny as our guide. It was a tremendous experience with alot of great insight on the history of our stops. Jeep tour had unbelievable views that we would have never seen if we didnt participate. Highly recommend!

Our tour (scheduled for 13 April 2024) was suddenly cancelled at 7pm on the evening before, with no apology or real explanation given. (The email said "unsuitable or dangerous weather", but it was actually a perfectly nice spring day.) They are only reachable by phone until 6pm, so we could not even contact them to ask for an explanation and to inquire if there are any alternative options. We understand that tours might have to be cancelled for various reasons, but in such cases we expect much better communication!

The day trip to Lisbon and Sintra with our guide João was an absolute highlight. João impressed us with his pleasant demeanor, spontaneity, and great sense of humor, making the tour a particularly lively experience. His helpfulness and deep knowledge of the region provided us with unique insights into the culture and history of both cities. The driver was also excellent, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable journey.

Rui was a great tour guide and made it a memorable day. We went to some great locations and learned a lot about Portugal. The day was a good mix of nature exploring and historical sites.

Rui was an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable, has a good sense of humor, and was a lot of fun to spend the day with. We really enjoyed the tour. The hike in the morning took us to some amazing views and was a great way to start the day. The visit to the grounds of Pena Palace was also great—it’s a spectacular building with great views of the ocean and surrounding areas, and the palace gardens are beautiful. I would definitely recommend this trip and going with Rui in particular.

The sites were fantastic, Cape Roca, the hike, Sintra, and Peña Palace! But even better was our guide Ricardo. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but extremely pleasant. I would highly recommend this tour, and I would specifically ask for Ricardo.

Excellent tour! Very nice, conversational, and knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. The hike was easy and took us to the most beautiful coastline I’ve ever seen. Pedro gave us great insight into both the local and greater Portuguese culture which was fantastic.

This experience was probably the highlight of our stay in Portugal. From a scenic van ride from Lisbon to Cabo da Roca where we were able to experience amazing views and a super interesting and informative hike to a walk through the lovely town of Sintra. I had this tour with Miguel and it was a very rewarding experience! Everything was very well organised in a timely manner. Miguel was patient, kind and gave us valuable information. The walking experience around Cabo da Roca and the beaches of Antlantic Ocean is one of a kind experience. Pena Palace is very beautiful and has a mix of different types of architectures, that makes it a very interesting sight to explore. Sintra centre is very picturesque. Have in mind that Sintra gets quite crowded in high season. Perhaps its better to visit before June.

Very fantastic trip with a nice hike (not too intense) and some splendid views. Cabo de Rocha was the personal highlight but visiting sintra was very nice as well. Expect Peña palace to be very busy but beautiful as well. Would recommend.

Beautiful scenery and nice recommendations. The hiking part has the best beach scenery ever! But it required of crossing a river, so it may be a bit difficult

This was a great trip to see the coast and Peña Palace. Pedro was very friendly and engaged in conversation with the group throughout the entire trip. The only downside was some inaccurate information in the description, but Pedro and the team quickly resolved this for us.

The Tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. It was an added bonus that the guide was also a native of Sintra..! This trip is for those who have the ability to walk at least 3-5 miles with elevation (uphill/downhill). The views of Cabo da Roca and Pena Palace were a priceless reward for each step and every mile we walked. Pro tip: Bring very comfortable hiking/walking shoes..!

We enjoyed this tour very much! The hike had amazing views and walking through Pena Palace was a nice experience. We also relaxed for a little while at the beach on the way.
