This tour was amazing mostly due to our tour guide Cesar. His knowledge of the history of Lisbon, Sintra was amazing. He is a great driver and knows his way around perfectly. Also, Very nice car. He made this tour very interesting and enjoyable.

For this price, I would expect more information and history. This I Was more of a private driver hired to take you around. The tours inside the different cities are not included. You are left to figure things out on your own. Better if I did a group tour

There are not words to express our happiness, and gratitude for the most amazing day that Cesar gave to us. We had an amazing day with CesaR! He was always punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable and informative of the country and tour sites. He effortlessly had our tour planned whereas we were at least 15 to 30 minutes ahead of the crowds and gained access to the sites with the least amount of walking. He is truly an amazing tour guide! This tour to Sintra and Cascaids anf Cabo de Roca was wonderful. The tour company RM Cesar was the perfect one. 1) Mr Cesar arrived 10 minutes early. 2) The car was clean and very stylish. 3) Wonderful historical information that added real perspective to our day touring. Honest and not cheesy. 4) Followed up with several very good suggestions for amazing food. Especially liked the steak cooked on a hot stone!

César gave us an excellent tour. We stayed ahead of the crowds and had enough time to hit all the places we wanted to see at a leisurely pace. He fit in breaks and lunch at great places. We enjoyed all the story telling on the drive. For Peña Palace, I would recommend getting the tour guide app when getting tickets if you want extra information and download it before you get to the location cos WiFi might be spotty. Also bring a jacket cos it’s high up the mountain and can we windy!

Our day in Sintra, Cascais and Quinta Regaleira couldn’t have been better planned! We really engaged Ricardo. He answered many questions willingly and helped our daughter practice her Spanish. We enjoyed the palace of Peña and seeing the other sights. I would have appreciated more clarity prior to the trip as to what to expect.

We had the most amazing half day Sintra and CaisCas Tour with Pedro as our guide, via RM Cesar Tours. He was expert and knowledgeable but more importantly he was a lovely genuine guy who really made us feel welcomed and looked after. I was travelling with my mother, who has some mobility issues, abs Pedro made sure that she was comfortable for the trip. The car was very comfortable and although we could only do a half day tour, Pedro was able to help us make the most of it. The whole tour was very well organized and nothing was missing. We were very well looked after. It was so interesting to hear all about the history of Portugal, its people of those times, Palaces and buildings and the fisher villages and our private guide showed us the most beautiful spots on the way to Sintra and back to Lisboa. We were in Lisbon for six full days last week. Considered taking the train or bus to Sinatra but felt precious time would be lost making transfers and walking from place to place. We hired private driver Cesar one day and had time to visit the Peña palace, the town of Sinatra and Quinta de Regaleira. Our guide picked us up at our apartment in Lisbon at 8:20 in the morning. The drive to the Peña palace took about 40 minutes, while our guide explained the history of the city and palaces. After visiting the two palaces and the town of Sinatra, We left Sinatra around 2:00 pm and were driven to a beach front restaurant near Cascais for lunch. We finished with a drive back to Lisbon along the coast. The palaces are very busy now so I suggest you arrive as early as possible and buy tickets to the palaces in advance. I highly recommend R.M. Ceasar tours. He was waiting for us at the exit of every stop and kept us on track to make the most of our day.

It was a picture perfect day with the most amazing guide, Cesar- who makes you feel like royalty. He was accommodating as we wanted to see both palaces- Peña and Quinta da Regaleira. He picked us up earlier to make that happen, so that we would avoid the long tourist lines at Peña. (Fortunately April isn’t quite as busy as summer season) He shared a lot of relevant and fascinating history and made our trip more enjoyable- he’s as delightful as he is professional! Cesar turned up on time , (in fact early) in an immaculate car. The tour started with a half hour so drive to Sintra, all the way being informed about the history of Portugal which was very informative! We did the 4 hour tour which was a whistle stop tour of all the beautiful areas giving a great overview. If you wish to go into the palaces etc I would recommend the longer tour. We would highly recommend Cesar as he has a true passion for his job and his previous world wide career in hotel management shone through with his great attention to detail. Thank you Cesar and I’m sure we will see you on our next visit to the wonderful Lisbon.

We feel SO LUCKY to have booked this tour with Cesar. He took us to all the important places and then some of his secret favorite spots. It was an amazing drive through the countryside while getting a superb and informative tour. I spent a perfect sunny day with Cesar on a whole-day private tour visiting Sintra with all its surrounding highlights, the Cabo da Roca, stopping for a nice lunch after my request, driving along the Guincho beach… simply amazing.
