Sintra Tour With Pena Palace, Moorish Castle And Regaleira - Private

We did a tour of the area with Bernardo. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. There were four of us, and out of the four, one was afraid of heights, and one had bad knees. Bernardo took care of all of us and made sure that we all had an excellent time. We definitely recommend taking a tour like this versus visiting the castles annd area on your own. You learn so much more with a guide. We would recommend asking for Bernardo!

Vasco was very knowledgeable & had good recommendations to ensure we enjoyed our trip. He was very accommodating & tried to make it easier for mobility issues. Water was provided & a nice little surprise of a dessert🤩

It was so cool! The palaces were awesome! So many incredible views and things to see. Every time I went further it was something even cooler. Our time in the town was nice and even better with the local sweet treat provided. The castle was much like the palaces in how the views and everything there were just amazing! Susana was our driver and your guide and she was wonderful! She was punctual. On top of that she took care and thought of everything. She took pictures, gave us waters, pointed out the bathrooms and had so much knowledge. Susana made the experience that much better. I highly recommend this tour and Susana.

Had a wonderful day on our tour of Sintra. Nuno was a perfect gentleman and looked after our every need. He did his best to get us to the Pena Castle before the crowds. He was a wealth of knowledge. Worth every. Beautiful sunny day. Highly recommend.

Castle was historic and tedious to climb to the top.Palace was beautifully decorated and organized. Fortunately while visiting the castle there was sunshine and when visiting the palace it started raining. Since it was inside it was alright, may have been able take better pictures outside overlooking the palace if we had sunshine.

We were unable to visit the Moorish Castle due to weather damage but instead toured the National Palace. Our guide Simone was very knowledgeable of the history and background of each site. The pace of the tour was just right. I highly recommend this tour.

Great guided tour. Joao was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot of Portugal history and both past and present culture. Due to a recent storm, some of the roads were impassable but Margarida and Joao had contingency plans in place. Very professional! We had a great time.

Our guide was simply the best. Best experience we ever had. Pena Palace is unique and eclectic - getting there early was key as it filled up as we were finishing. We had plenty of empty space around us without crowds, waiting or rush. Get there at opening time. Knowing and understanding the history of the Wishing Well at Regaleira makes it a sublime and personal experience. The Moorish Castle was awe inspiring as we had a clear view and then experienced a fog rolling in - made us imagine the daily experience of guards standing along the wall. The town of Sintra is full of quaint shops and very nice, welcoming people. Recommend 5 star to anyone looking to get away from the ordinary.

Simone was a wonderful tour guide and she made the day feel relaxing and stress free. Very well timed and not rushed through each site. Very knowledgeable and enjoyable tour.

Our trip to Sintra was one of the real highlights of our trip to Portugal. The Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, and Regaleira were all amazing sites to visit but the thing that really made our trip special was our guide, Simone Silva. She adjusted the tour to the needs of our group of six. We all had different interests and different physical abilities and limitations, and she did a marvelous job accommodating all of that. She was extremely knowledgeable but did not overwhelm us with her knowledge. She was flexible, fun, and insightful. I would highly recommend this tour and strongly encourage anyone taking it to request Simone as a guide.

The personal touch and extra care that was given to me by our tour guide Rui. He made sure to make it easier for my back problems. He was great. His knowledge combined with his personal childhood memories made it even more engaging.

Rui made our day in Sintra extra special and so worth it. We were able to see everything in one day. Both palaces and the castle. He gave special attention to my bad back by going out of his way to make it easier. His knowledge and personal stories from his childhood made the tour so much more engaging. A private tour is worth every penny. We saw people still in line to enter after we finished our two hour tour.
