We loved our private tour to Sintra with admission to Pena Palace and so much more! Jorge our tour guide was amazing. He took care of everything. He knew all the best spots to go, and got us straight into the palace where he gave us our own private tour. He grew up in Sintra, so he had lots of insider knowledge which came in handy on our drive back to Lisbon, since many of the roads were blocked for an Ironman race. He tailored the tour to our needs. 5 star service all the way. He even took us on a couple of very special errands to hand deliver postcards that we brought to Lisbon from our recent trip to the Galapagos. Tradition!! IYKYK

Perfect experience . Firstly Dayane our tour guide was great , full of information helped us every step of the way, we didn’t need to think she took care of everything also great flexibility of what we did in Sintra. A private tour was 100% worth doing I would highly recommend to anyone.

We had a great time exploring Sintra and the Pena palace, it was a memorable experience. If you want a private tour but are unsure about safety, I can vouch that Inês made my mom and I feel safe on this tour from the hotel pick up, exploring a bit of sintra and dropping us off to the hotel!

Wow!! Driver/guide was Lourenco and he did a phenomenal job. He shared lots of information on the ride from Lisbon and gave a great tour of Sintra and the surrounding area. Excellent experience as a solo traveler since my husband was unable to attend.

We had a great time exploring beautiful Sintra. Ana was a fabulous guide. She was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the experience effortless. If you’re tight on time, this half day private tour with express entry into the palace is the way to go!

We had a wonderful day exploring Sintra and Pena Palace with Adriano as our guide. He was incredibly informative, pleasant, and full of helpful local tips throughout the entire experience. What really made the tour special was that he also included a few off the beaten path gems that we never would have discovered on our own. His knowledge, pacing, and enthusiasm made for an outstanding day. Highly recommend this tour and especially Adriano as a guide!

We did the private tour of Sintra with our guide Diogo. It's great! Diogo was very informative and personable. He seemed to know everybody and was able to navigate the crowds better than others. Very nice day,highly recommend.

Our driver Paulo was wonderful. He was informative and gave us great insight into the history and culture of the sites we visited. I would highly recommend!

This full day tour was excellent… Our guide picked us up at our hotel and took us to Sintra. She was very knowledgeable and on the way there taught us all about Lisbon and Sintra. On the way back to Lisbon she pointed out many sites and took us to a great restaurant on the water for lunch… I recommend this tour highly.

Unbelievable experience, worth every penny! Paulo was amazing, what a treat to have him as our knowledgeable guide. The day of our tour was rainy and he had umbrellas for us and his restaurant and bakery recommendations were perfect! What a great adventure. Would highly recommend!

We had the best experience during this private whole day tour for our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids (2 and 5 years old). The communication was great even prior to the tour with them confirming the kids ages and our tour guide Ricardo coming prepared with car seats for the kids. Ricardo tailored the tour to our family’s needs and went above and beyond to keep the kids entertained. We went to Belém and Cascais on the way to Sintra and Ricardo took us to the perfect spots that included a bit of nature, history, and city! Throughout the tour of Pena Palace, he kept the kids occupied with different animals to spot and I’m surprised they were so interested in the palace tour! We cannot recommend this tour enough. Not sure about all the tour guides, but we had Ricardo and he was amazing!

We had a wonderful day out with our guide Angela yesterday! It was totally stress free, with a very civilised 9.30am pick up from our hotel! First off we drove to Sintra and had ample time there to walk around the beautiful village and the gardens of the old Castle. And we also took a coffee break to recharge our batteries. Then shortly after midday we made our way to the Pena Palace. (We skipped the line and had a minibus to drop us right up at the Palace so that was well appreciated). The Pena Palace was stunning, inside and out! We’ve travelled a lot and visited some amount of castles and palaces but this was definitely one of the most memorable ones we’ve seen. The tour was excellent value for money as it was so well organised and we were so well looked after by Angela. I would highly recommend it to others.

What an amazing place! We're so glad we chose this tour. Susanna was wonderful, we learned so much from her. It was also nice to not have to wait in the long entry lines. There was time left for a short visit to the village of Sintra, which was also charming. We would definitely recommend!

The visit to Sintra was the highlight of our tour. The Pena Palace and the Castles and the surrounding and the spectacular views from the castles and the architecture and history was very enriching and our tour guide Filipe was very knowledgeable and patient and detailed in sharing the history and showed us all the prime areas this would not have been possible without a tour guide as Knowledgeable as Filipe . Azenhas do Mar restaurant where we had dinner was amazing with a great view and the sunset worth watching. Highly recommend it . Swingo did a great job and highly recommended. Then the trip to Oporto was a private tour and it was a good overview we got of Portugal . Thank you !

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour of Sintra and Pena palace. Everything was perfect, including our guide, Teresa. She was excellent and a total joy to spend time with. We greatly appreciated being picked up from our hotel. It made is so easy and convenient. Teresa was very knowledeable, and we learned a lot!

It’s an incredible side about 1,500 feet above sea level. It began as a monastery, and it was taken over and added to in multiple different styles. It’s quite an incredible and impressive place. You do not want to visit Portugal and not see this phenomenal place. Our guide was quite knowledgeable, and he was extremely helpful given that my husband needed help walking.

We had a fantastic day touring Sintra with Miguel! He was incredibly warm and welcoming from the start. He took us through the beautiful streets and local shops of Sintra, and even made a last-minute change to the itinerary so we could visit the stunning Queluz National Palace. Miguel’s knowledge of Portuguese history was impressive—he didn’t just share facts, he told the big-picture story of how Portugal’s Kings and Queens evolved over the centuries. It brought the palace and the entire region to life in a way we’ll never forget. Thoughtful, flexible, and engaging—Miguel is everything you’d want in a guide. Highly recommend booking with him!

One of the best tours we’ve been to. Our tour guide, Ricardo, did an amazing job explaining us the beautiful history of Pena Palace and the other places we visited during our tour. The view was amazing and we took lot of photos. I highly recommend this tour.

This was amazing!!!! First, the castle is beautiful. So many great places for pictures. Sintra is an adorable town, very walkable with shops galore! It is very touristy but still beautiful and a fun experience. Second, our guide (Orlando) was the best! He was so friendly and gave us lots of local history. He was fantastic! Would recommend!

Our visit to Cascais and Sintra was SUPERB thanks to our OUTSTANDING guide, Rocardo Domingues. He was extremely professional and yet so friendly and relaxing! He was knowledgeable and the most courteous person, always willing to make our wishes come true! Our memories of Cascais and Sintra will be nothing less than magical thanks to our guide. We had an excellent private tour by our guide Sandro. My wife and I visited the Palace or Queluz and then Sintra, and really appreciated that we could relax and just enjoy the tour. Sandro provide a great deal of helpful background and pointed out items of interest that we would have missed had we tried to do the same visit on our own. All in all highly recommended.

Teresa was a fantastic guide! Knowledgeable and fun, it was more like spending the day with a great friend! She showed us all aspects of the palace and gave great history and interesting facts.

Very convenient to have a private driver and tour guide. The trip up the mountain is an experience in itself! Filipe was friendly and informative and offered other tips for us on our trip around Portugal. In May, the palace was packed with tourists. The hallways and rooms are rather squishy. Very steep incline with many steps. Difficult for the elderly and disabled although the staff do try to make things better for you. Beautiful vistas of nearby hilltops.

It was a very last minute booking (8pm) for a 4 hr tour the following morning. Was assigned Ms Ngela who came to the hotel punctually to greet us. It was drizzling and we took along umbrellas just to be sure. Ngela was informative abt Lisbon's culture places of visit and answered questions that we had. When we arrived at Sintra, it was raining heavily. And there was a long queue, due to the fast track, we were able to get past the long line. Whilst the tour was relatively short as Palace was quite small compared to rest that I have seen, it was a good experience to learn abt the history behind it. On the way, back, we had a short walk along Cascais which was very pretty....wished we had more time there. Overall, a good 4 hour spent

We were picked up right in front of our hotel and spent the day with Susana as our tour guide. She was very kind and informative. We had a wonderful day trip to Sintra and went to eat the best seafood we had in Portugal at a nearby beach.

Unfortunately Peña Palace was closed due to a recent storm but Susana made the best out of it. We toured some alternate sites around Sintra and still had a great time.

It was amazing. The experience opened a whole new world for me, and my family. It’s also great to an excellent tour guide (Ricardo Domingues) who went out of the way to give us out moneys worth. Definitely, would come back and request for the same tour guide.

It’s a must visit country and city, it’s out of this world. We love all the top 7 Portuguese food, and probably have an addiction to “pastel de nata”. Can’t wait to comeback here.

Ricardo Domingues was a fantastic tour guide. Not only was he very personable and very funny, but he also was super knowledgeable about the castles at Sintra. He was incredible in his ability to link the most minor detail about something on display to how people lived back then and how life could have been. He was spectacular in his "wow" moments, making my family and I's jaws drop almost every five minutes. I could say no bad thing. He was incredible.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. Susanna was amazing and so knowledgeable her passion was so wonderful. Best tours I’ve ever ever!

Ridiculously expensive r/t Uber ride from Lisbon. This is NOT a guided tour....at best a drop off at the Pena Palace. We paid $325 for a $40 admissions and a $70 r/t uber ride from hotel in Lisbon to the Pena Palace. Never again!

Susanna was our driver and guide to Sintra and the Pena Palace. Our time with her was a great experience: she was prompt, very friendly and so very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour. We received so much interesting information, saw unique sights, and felt well-cared for throughout the tour.

Ricardo was a great guide! This all day tour was an excellent, stress free way to see a lot in just one day. Ricardo had booster seats for the kids so they could see better, was a very careful driver, and super knowledgeable about his country. Highly recommend.

Mr. Sandro was AMAZING!! From the start of the tour (pickup) to the drop off was filled with fun historical facts. We’ve already told our friends and family about him and the trip. Mr. Sandro made sure my partner and I knew all the details on and what to look out for specifically at each location.

Had a truly amazing day with Sandro. He gave great insight and we enjoyed his company, his humor and our time with him. We both commented on his love of showing proudly his country and the rich history of Portugal We certainly would highly recommend that anyone interested in a full day of exploring both the high tourist and not so well know places that makes Portugal so interesting book a day with Sandro

This review would be 10 stars if possible! Our driver Fernando was amazing from the start! He immediately jumped in and helped out with my Mom who needed a wheelchair. Picked us up right from my brother's house and was immediately kind and caring. He was very knowledgeable about Lisbon and especially Sintra. Along the trip to Sintra he kept us entertained with the history of Portugal and the sites we drove by. Since it was a busy day, he made sure we stopped and got food before getting started. Fernando helped us navigate the sites so my mom was able to maximize her time and see the sites even with the wheelchair. Going into Pena Palace was absolutely beautiful and Fernando knew all the history! Quinta da Regaleira was amazing as well. The western most point Cabo da Roca. We could probably write pages about how amazing the whole experience was!
