Fantastic trip!! Marco, our guide, was punctual, knowledgeable, very attentive and flexible, always ready to reply our questions and fulfil our wishes. The tour was just as expected. The van was comfortable, safe driving, umbrellas for the rain we had in the morning. We would recommend to hire this company and Marco in particular

My partner and I booked an English tour during a trip to Lisbon to see Cascais and Sintra, not really knowing what to expect but wanting to see the sights. Manuel picked us up directly from inside our hotel. We were immediately struck by how warm and welcoming he was. We then picked up the other 6 guests on the tour and continued. The buildings, towns, sightseeing all speaks for itself, but what made this trip was the Manuel’s entertaining stories, wealth of knowledge and history of all that we saw. The day was a perfect balance of guided tour and exploring the towns ourselves. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend Manuel to anyone who is wanting to see Sintra and Cascais!

Good tour overall. Sintra and palace of Pena was great, and where Lucia was great. She was a little difficult to understand at times, but extremely pleasant. Our itinerary was altered due to activities beyond anyone’s control, but should have known by the tour company. Would recommend.

A great tour, I wasn’t expecting the guide to come with us and tell us about the palace but that was a great touch! Lucia was attentive and very nice, all the park staff greeted her like an old friend.

We just spent a delightful day touring the Portugal coast and Sintra and the Pena Palace. Our tour guide, Manuel, was just perfect and had so much knowledge of the area that he clearly shared (in three languages!!). He was a superb driver, even in crazy traffic and along the small winding roads, and always clearly communicated what would be happening at each stop. Great job, Manuel! It is always so appreciated in the midst of travel to sit back and let someone else do all the thinking and planning for a day. After seeing the crowds at a few spots, we are so glad we decided to book a tour - so simple and we learned so much more than if we did it all on our own. Great value for the cost. Thanks for a lovely day!

Our amazing boutique hotel staff (iris) from dare river Lisbon organised our small group tour. Lucia was our guide and she was super knowledgeable and totally accommodating of the individual needs of the group! Hotel pickup and drop off was a bonus in a luxury car. The small group format and hotel pick up is very convenient. We had a wonderful and informative tour guide - Lucia, which made the day extra memorable. Beautiful scenery- but sintra and the Pena palace can get quite crowded. Take something warm along - it was very cold and misty at Peña palace. Overall -a day trip worth doing

Our guide, Manuela was fantastic! She picked all 5 groups up at their hotel (and dropped us off after) She was funny & informative. Great knowledge of local history & gave wonderful food recommendations for after trip. This was all day trip from 8:30 am-6pm. Well worth the money. 10 out of 10!

We booked this tour with the hotel receptionist and did not experience what she told us we would. Firstly, the tour started late and the guide took us to Cascais first and ended at Pena Palace. When we got to the palace the tickets were sold out and the guide told us to buy tickets to visit the gardens. He said that we were supposed to buy tickets the day before if we wanted to visit the palace but the hotel receptionist who sold us this tour said that we must not buy the palace tickets in advance because we don’t know what time the guide will get us there. When we mentioned this to the guide he said that the receptionist miss sold us because the tour doesn’t take us inside the palace. Upon returning to the hotel we told the receptionist this and she said that she did this very same tour before so we must have had a new guide. She then said she will call the tour company and find out. The tour company apparently told her that at the start of the tour the guide asked if we wanted to go to the palace and we said no. This was not true as we were never asked and the guide planned the whole day. So between the hotel receptionist, the tour guide and the tour company, everyone was just passing the buck and no one took any responsibility. It was a very disappointing experience and not worth the €69 each that we paid to just be chauffeured around to a few places.

This day trip from Lisbon was an EXCELLENT value. The itinerary says it all. Our guide, Marco, was AAA+++. His restaurant choice for lunch in Sintra made our group's afternoon. NOTE: if you have bad knees or difficulty climing uphill, spend the extra €4.50 for the shuttle from the Pena Palace parking base up to the palace! You can pay that when you purchase your palace ticket.

Wonderful full day tour with Andre, who provided us with very interesting and incredible amount of historical, local, and entertaining information.
