Private Tour: Lisbon Fado Dinner Show And Panoramic Night Tour

The overall experience was great. Although I am not a fan of Fado, the performers had wonderful voices. We were expected at.the restaurant and tje food menu gave us.several . Choices of traditional Portuguese foods. Delicious! Charming venue. Our guide was very knowledgeable but his voice was not loud enough and those of us in the back had trouble hearing. We were shown high lights of the city and given photo ops.

The photo show was spectacular and then to top it off with the fabulous dinner! Our driver after the show showed just around Lisbon at night and it was absolutely beautiful We will definitely be part of our vacation memories.

Good food, intro to Fado and great tour guide. It was nice to see the sights in the evening and gave a romantic ambience to major views of the city.

Our driver was wonderful. Took us to many delightful places and areas in Lisbon. The Fada show was excellent; however, the food not so good.

The Fado show and dinner was amazing. We did not get to really experience the history and highlights of the evening private tour as it rained , but overall it was a ok time.

We booked the private tour with Fado dinner and overall had a really great experience. Our driver truly made the night! His name was Américo. Super friendly, funny, and genuinely passionate about showing us around Lisbon. He cracked jokes the entire evening, made the experience feel relaxed and personal, and stopped at several beautiful spots so we could get pictures along the way. It never felt rushed. The Fado dinner and music itself were excellent and absolutely worth experiencing. The performers were incredible and the atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for. That said, I do agree with other reviewers regarding the service at dinner. Unfortunately, our waitress seemed completely uninterested and honestly acted like she couldn’t care less about our table. What made it more noticeable was that the table next to us had a different waiter and their experience seemed much more attentive and enjoyable. So I don’t think it was necessarily the restaurant overall, more luck of the draw with staff. One thing future guests should know: it seems people book through different packages/options, so menus and food choices may vary depending on how you booked. Despite the service hiccup at dinner, we still really enjoyed the evening and especially appreciated how fantastic our driver was.

Overall a good experience. The driver picked us up on time and drove us around the city stopping at a few spots to let us get out for photos. This is not a "guided" tour of the city as the driver did not have a lot of knowledge about what we were seeing. Nevertheless, if you set your expectations to know that you are just getting a feel for the city at night, then it will be fine. The Fado dinner was great. Good food, good server. I would recommend doing the dinner first and then have a drive around the city. We did the drive first, so when we arrived at the restaurant, we were just starting dinner while others were getting their dessert. Honestly, it worked out for us because I could tell the other diners had been there a while and the dinner/show may have gone on a little longer than they expected. We were served promptly and the staff was attentive. The restaurant was just right in terms of ambience. Had an older, historical vibe with lots of interesting decorations on the wall. I had seen other venues on our walk that looked like newer restaurants doing a Fado show. I liked this one. We both had the Veal Stew which was like Pot Roast. So good. Again, overall this was worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone.

Any visit to Lisbon is not complete without the highlight of this tour, Fado music. This music and the food were absolutely outstanding. The tour was beautiful and we were able to take in all of it the city’s breathtaking sites. Our guide, Martin, was very knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend!

Pedro. Our driver picked us up promptly and gave us a wonderful tour of places he thought would be of interest to us. He was very helpful with handling my husband who has site issues and made sure we were seated in our restaurant for the best view of the evenings entertainment. The meal was OK, but the entertainment was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to the singing. After finishing our meal, we contacted Pedro, who picked us up promptly and returned us to our hotel, after having a delightful evening of conversation with him and his insight into Lisbon. We hope his thesis paper goes well.

The PROS: This tour picks up and drop off at my hotel so that was a great selling point for me. My driver was Carlos and he was absolutely amazing and super nice. He explained a lot about Lisbon and made the tour overall great. In my opinion he was the best part of the tour and kept me laughing the whole time. The places we toured were great spots and had some a.azing view points especially at night. I was a little worried a out tour Lisbon at night so again a major selling point was having someone local to venture out of my comfort zone. The fado singers were amazing, they also offer CDs, but I don't have a cd player so I did not purchase one. The food was ok, the appetizer was a cheese and olive board (not really something i can have) and bread. For an entree I had the veal stew with sweet potato and dessert I had chocolate mousse. Please do not expect large portions. This was okay with because I was able to have both the main and dessert. The Cons: In my experience the restaurant's service was not the best. The menu was very limited and I had to wait a while before the waiter even asked me if I wanted something to drink. He passed by the table several times before I even knew he was the waiter fir my table. Also for the price point I think a regular soda should at least be included or for the restaurant to provide a water. I did voice my lack of service to the host that originally sat me and he did try to offer me something else, but I was over it by the time I did get up to leave. Also there was not a lot of people, if it had been packed I would definitely understand. I do think if they reorganize the tour to have the dinner after the sight seeing it would be better. Also maybe choose a different Fado restaurant with a better menu options for the price point. If you do choose this tour I hope you have Carlos because he made the tour for me! I hope you let him know that I thank him for his kindness and overall genuine personality!

Our flight from Casablanca to Lisbon the day of our evening tour and Fado dinner performance was seriously delayed and we assumed we would have to forfeit the evening’s activities. However, we were able to contact our driver/guide, Nuno, to apprise him of the situation, and he very graciously revised the schedule to pick us up at the airport (rather than the hotel) when our late flight arrived, quickly ushering us to the venue for the Fado performance/dinner. We were able to catch the entire performance, visit with the performers, and have a delicious three-course dinner of local specialties. Afterwards Nuno gave us a very personable nighttime tour of Lisbon’s older districts. Thanks to Nuno’s willingness to revise the original schedule, he saved our evening’s activities from becoming a loss and turned it into a delightful experience.

I was very disappointed with the food and also being that we paid $150 a person. This could’ve been done for $50 per person. The restaurant charges $39 and a taxi will cost $10 for two stops to take a couple pictures it’s not worth the money.

Knowledgeable driver and a great highlight of the city. We also enjoyed the dinner show. We were happy with this experience as we had an overnight layover in Lisbon and wanted to do something worthwhile of our time and this definitely fulfilled it. Highly recommends!!!

Carlos our tour guide was excellent and the food was good as well as the show but the cost of the tour does not equate what we expected.

Carlos was an excellent guide, he was very knowledgeable and tailored the experience to my interests. The entire tour from beginning to end was amazing the fado show the food all of it was so special and worth it. I had a delay with my flight but Carlos stayed in contact with me and everything went smoothly. I was doing a 16 hour layover but got a taste of Lisbon and was able to see many of the major sites. The tour let me wanting to return for more I highly recommend booking.

Very fancy evening with excellent fado music. I loved the singers' voices. The food and the service at the restaurant were great too.

So happy I got to see an enjoyable fado show and see Lisbon at night. My tour started with a drive through Lisbon hills and neiborhoods with tiny streets. My driver had interesting stories about the area and local celebrations. We went to the top of a hill enjoyed as a meeting, conversation place of locals to have a great night view of the city. I really loved the restaurant tucked in a alley and the Fado show. The food was good and the music beautiful and fun. I was lucky to have an audience that enjoyed singing along. It was a fun experience I would highly recommend.

We really liked it. Americo was an excellent guide who planned the tour very well to see everything at the ideal time, both the sunset and the tour of a beautiful illuminated Lisbon. Dinner and fado show highly recommended.
