Excellent tour, our guide Luis was great. Long day, over 9 hours but worth it. Enjoyed trying some of the local desserts. Pickup and drop off went seamlessly. Extra bonus was seeing some more of Lisbon while dropping off another passenger.

The trip was absolutely amazing. Everything was on point and our guide Luis Pinto was so kind all the time. His attitude and historical knowledge were great. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy 😉

Great experience with tour group. Luis (our guide and professional driver) was very knowledgeable with facts and history about places we visited. The trip had sufficient time management. Enough stops for a quick ‘free time’ and time for some local food and drinks. Amazed by the beauty of the architecture and historical influences. Perfect for most group sizes. (Max 8). Not too busy when my group went, in October, apparently can get busier in hotter holiday seasons. Overall, good one to book in to get some sites and architectural/historic stuff done when in Portugal 🇵🇹. Many thanks.

Our tour was 10/10. Igor was so kind , knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. He had historical information along with fun facts. He knew his route, he knew how to avoid the busy times and got us up front for drop off and pick ups. He had great selections on where to go in each location for food, drinks etc. He also got out and helped a traffic jam that could have delayed many people for a long time!! My husband and I went with 6 strangers. We became friends instantly . Had no problem with conversations. There are so many tours out there and it’s hard to know what to choose. Highly recommend.

Loved this tour. The coastline was so beautiful, wonderful food, an interesting palace; it was spectacular! Our guide Marco knew so much, he told us a ton of interesting stories about all the places we visited. There were four of us and he made the tour very special. He got us into the palace and knew so much about each room. He was so happy when we saw the older tram and he pointed out cool sites along the way. The van was super clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for better tour. Marco made the world of difference. He even helped one of our ladies as she had a bum knee by moving the van closer after talking to the policeman about letting in get the van closer.

The tour was wonderful, easily paced, but covered a lot of locations. Marco our guide was wonderful. He is knowledgeable, speaks multiple languages and took good care of those that needed extra care - like me! I fell in love with Sintra, it's a beautiful, picturesque area. I highly recommend not missing this lovely part of Portugal.

The pros: communication prior to the tour was great. Pick-up time and place were confirmed and ticket times and prices were suggested and subsequently purchased from web links that were provided. Diego, our tour guide, was enthusiastic and had a great attitude. The cons: pick-up was late and the vehicle was substandard for tourism. It was not clean, parts of the door seal were falling apart, and we could smell exhaust fumes in the cabin. I think this is his personal vehicle as there are no tourism markings on the vehicle. There was no water provided even though it was advertised. Our guide told us the palace tickets we were told to purchase by his colleague were not good for an efficient tour. Because of this, we weren’t able to see much of what the tour had to offer due to the ticket times and location… something you trust a tour company to consider. I booked this through Chase experiences and couldn't be more disappointed. We've booked many tours through Chase experiences all over the world and this is by far the worst. It's like they started doing this tour right before he picked us up. I want to be clear, this is not Diego’s company and as such, he said he had no choice in vehicle selection and he did not suggest tickets. However, there should be some quality control. Under no circumstances should anyone paying money be picked up in this vehicle nonetheless a tour company trying to make a first impression. We paid for a better vehicle experience considering we had to come out of pocket for everything else. There were some fun parts… the two palaces and lunch were great, but unfortunately the beginning of the tour started out so negatively that it left a sour taste in my mouth for the rest of the day no matter how much Diego tried to salvage it. I'm so disappointed. Weigh my words carefully and choose wisely as there are many other choices.

The tour was very good, Sintra is beautiful and Pena Palace is a must see. This was an all-day tour and well worth the time. First of all, it was especially convenient to be picked up and dropped off where we were staying. Sintra palace was beautiful inside and out, and the view on our clear, sunny day was stunning. As recommended, we bought the palace tour tickets online, and also the shuttle to the top as I was recovering from a foot injury. The village of Sintra, where we stopped afterwards for a bit of shopping and lunch was quite charming. Leaving Sintra, we travelled to the Atlantic coast for some impressive views of the surf, the cliffs, the lighthouse, and the rock formations. Time for a snack and a walk-around of Cascais before heading back to Lisbon. Our guide Vasco (sp?) was A+. He was very knowledgeable of the history, culture, and environment of the area we visited and Portugal in general. There wasn’t a question he could not answer in detail…and we asked many.

Great organization and use of the time- we were picked up at our AirBnb which saved us time & hassle early in the morning. Our tour guide Luis was personable and very knowledgeable about everything Lisbon and the surrounding areas! He shared a lot of invaluable information along the way! In addition to Sintra & Cascais, we visited two other amazing places, one of them Cabo de Roca with breathtaking views! We got perfect recommendations for places to eat and see. The tour ended with a picturesque drive along the water and a view of the Golden Gate lookalike bridge. We were dropped back promptly at our Airbnb! Overall, an amazing day of learning about and enjoying the beautiful history and scenery of Portugal!

We had an amazing time visiting the Sintra Palace and surrounding areas. The views were spectacular. Our guide Luis made the day even better. He was so knowledgeable and explained everything to us perfectly. He also had us busting out laughing the whole day. He gave wonderful suggestions for lunch. (I had the traditional Portuguese cod from Bristol). He stopped at several places for photo opportunities as well. I highly recommend seeing these wonderful sights and ask for Luis!

I had a fantastic time touring Sintra, headed by our very knowledgeable and accommodating guide, Laura. She picked the group up promptly and immediately disseminated various and extensive information about the lords and ladies that commissioned the creation of Sintra. It was very enriching to hear her insight. The group had ample time to explore on their own. Speechless! This tour was AMAZING. Laura you are one the best tour guide I’ve ever had. You know so much of History, you explain so well. You did our tour so Fun, it’s obvious you love what you do, you care for each one of us. You took us to so beautiful places. This was one of my highlights of Portugal. Igor was an excellent guide! We had a wonderful day exploring Sintra and the surrounding areas. His knowledge of the region was impressive, and he was very accommodating to our requests. We booked the 10 am tour of Pena Palace as directed, but arrived much earlier, so we toured the grounds before seeing the inside of the Palace. Igor then gave us a guided tour of the palace which was very informative. We then went down the mountain to our next stop, Quinta da Regaleira. This stop was self-guided and we texted him about ten minutes before we wanted to leave. Even with the traffic in the area (and there's a lot!), he was prompt! Our trip then continued to Cabo da Roco (be prepared- it is windy!), Cascais, where we made a stop to see a beautiful beach, and Boca da Inferno. It was a fast-paced day, but we wanted to see as much of the area as we could, and Igor delivered!

We traveled to Sintra and Cascais with another family, guided by Luis. The weather was spotty (foggy and rainy in some places) but we still enjoyed it. Sintra was crowded with tourists but Cascais was beautiful. Luis was extremely knowledgeable and a good tour guide, although he needs to listen more and talk less (sometimes we could not even ask a question). All told, the tour was everything it promised to be. I recommend Lisbon Native Tours and Luis without reserve.

I did this small group tour with my sister and it was a fantastic experience all round. From start to finish, the communication with Sofia and later with the tour guide Jose Marques was indeed excellent. Jose was quite knowledgeable and provided plenty of insight into the history of Sintra's Pena Palace, Cabo do Roca, and Cascais while also lacing his story telling with intermittent jokes and riddles. We had plenty of time for photo ops and he was kind enough to take a pic of the entire group and share it with us. Being a small group was comfortable for everyone as we tried to befriend and keep an eye out for each other. The tour was at a reasonably comfortable pace with enough time to explore and wander the sights. I would certainly recommend Lisbon Native Tours to anyone interested including for single travelers.
