A perfect guide, a perfect day, perfectly orchestrated. Ability to enjoy & see Porto., Fatima and the final stop, although late, allowed us plenty of time for an uncrowded experience.

Not to be missed on a visit to Oporto! A sight that is worth a thousand words ... stunning at any time of the day or night.
It was in this bookstore, and in this scenario that writer J. K. Rowling was also inspired to write the famous Harry Potter books. From 1906 to the present, Lello Bookstore has been recognized internationally as one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. Visited every day by thousands of visitors from all over the world.
Built in 1763, the Clérigos Tower is considered an example of the Baroque style. The Clérigos Tower rises to a height of 75 meters. It has two bell towers and a carillon with 49 bells, one of the largest in the country and with a total of 225 steps, which gives access to two varandins, at different levels, from where you can enjoy a wide panoramic view of the city of Porto and its surroundings. Ribeira is one of the oldest and typical sites of the city Porto, next to the Douro River, is part of the Historic Center of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is, at the moment, an area very frequented by tourists and place of concentration of bars and restaurants.
In front of the city of Porto, is the majority of the cellars where, for hundreds of years, Port wine has been aged. The fundamental difference of Port wine in relation to the rest of the wines is the brandy that they include to interrupt the fermentation. Thus, the drink conserves the original sweetness of the grapes maintaining a high level of alcohol. The idea of putting brandy in the wine came in the seventeenth century, when English merchants were interested in buying Portuguese wines, but these wines could not stand the long journeys in the ships that carried them. From there they had the idea of starting to strengthen them with brandy so that they did not spoil.

We loved our private tour with George! He took us in a very comfortable van from Lisbon to Porto and we stopped in Obidos, Nazaré, Fátima, and Coimbra along the way. He was very knowledgeable and a great guide for us. He showed us the best spots for food, pictures, and history. Since it was a private tour, we had a lot of flexibility and I loved that he didn’t rush us and allowed us enough time in each place that we wanted to see. The whole day was from 8:30am to about 6pm. This tour is absolutely worth it! The prices are very fair and you really can’t beat them. Would definitely book with them again in a heartbeat!
This was the longest tour we took on our trip to Portugal, but it was definitely worth it to get to see some of the Portuguese countryside, Fatima, Porto, and Obidos. Our guide, Jorge, has a degree in history and is extremely knowledgeable. He filled our day with very interesting information about all of the places we visited and Portuguese history in general. We appreciated that he asked about our goals for the day and adjusted the itinerary to make sure we saw what was of most interest to us. He also made sure to include bathroom pitstops and took us to a lovely restaurant in Porto for lunch, which had seafood options for my husband and vegan options for me. We arrived in Fatima before the crowds and Obidos after the crowds, and this certainly enhanced our experience. Fatima is impressive, and Porto and Obidos look like they are out of a fairytale. We learned so much and appreciate everything Jorge did to make sure we had an interesting and enjoyable day.
Our tour guide, George, was fantastic!! He was so incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the places we went to. He found us a wonderful place for lunch and great suggestions for what to order. We could not have asked for a more perfect day!! He even managed to time the rain for when we were driving not touring 😊. Thank you George! You’re amazing!!
Our driver, George was very informative, we learned a lot of interesting information regarding the beginnings of Portugal. He was very knowledgeable of out all the stops we made.
It was a great and informative tour. Good communication from the tour operator with regards to the pick up times. Our tour guide, George, was very knowledgable. It's a great tour if you only have one day to explore Porto and it's surrounding. with it being a private tour, it worked well for our family and we could spend time in places that we liked the most. highly recommend it.
I have been on many tours with many different tour guides, but Lima is the best tour guide you will ever have! He was so kind and light hearted and made the trip very entertaining for me and my family. He was very organized, patient and is willing to do anything to make the excursion the best experience. I 100% recommend him to anyone traveling in Portugal!
Had a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Took us to Fatima, Porto, Obidos, Aveiro, and Costa Nova. We enjoyed the tour so much we booked a second day where he took us to Algarve region and we visited Portinao Milamornia and took a speed boat and went by the Caves. Afterwards we had a delightful lunch. We highly recommend this tour service.
Our day trip with Lima as our guide was simply the best . He is beyond knowledgeable , patient and nothing was too much trouble for him . Wonderful memories
George was the best tour guide. He was not conscious about the time and made sure we maximized our trip. He gave a history about the places we went to and navigated the small streets of Porto, away from the busy crowd. He made sure we were safe and comfortable during the trip.
Was a great trip. Our tour guide george was perfect. He was at rhe hotel promptly. Didnt rush us. Was friendly funny helpful. Knowledgeable. The trip to fatima in the morning is rhe beat time as it was empty. You could relax and take pictures nobody there. The porto sites were great We ate lunch on the water by the river. We saw rhe churches and sites. Porto is well worth it. More character than lisbon. The stops in obido is 100% worth it. I would ask to spend more time there than stop elsewhere. Old city. Roman walls castle is a must see in obido Call ahead and ask for a cellar tour We spent from 7am to 9:30 pm. And was worrh every minute. Private tour and guide iin a nice van
Excellent tour with a very nice program. George was impeccably professional and courteous. He gave us some very good advices and knows well his job. We recommend this tour and the guide
Lima was super flexible and helpful. He would make as many stops as we wanted. He let us explore Porto based on our interest. We really enjoyed it.
Very friendly and cheerful guide! Eusebio Lima provided very comfortable private tour with more than enough time spent in Fatima and Porto, without unnecessary wait times or gimmicky stops. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Wish we could have gotten to Óbidos earlier, but that would've meant cutting time short in Fatima and Porto which would have been disappointing.
My sister and I booked a small group tour to Porto, Fatima and Óbidos through Viator and connected almost immediately with Eusebio Lima of Eagle Travel Tours who introduced himself as our guide for this 14 hour tour from Lisbon. From the get go Eusebio communicated via text regarding pick up info etc..and then again closer to the tour date with reminders. On the assigned day he picked us up promptly at 7.20am but advised us to take our time...have breakfast if we hadn’t already done so as we were going to be his only guests for the tour!! We were so pleased that we would be having a private tour after all. This was just the beginning of an amazing day spent with Eusebio. Who was very polite, friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable about his country and proudly so. First stop was Fátima where we spent about an hour or so. We were able to sit awhile...reflect and pray without feeling rushed at any point. Eusebio took many photos both candid and requested which he sent to me via Whats App. Next stop was the beautiful town of Porto...he took us to all of the main points of interest and those that we just shouldn’t miss all the while taking lots of photos which he shared with us. We had a quick stop for lunch and were once again on our way to Óbidos. We reached Óbidos in the evening at about 7pm..it’s a very small quaint town with one way in and out so he left us to our own devices here once again never rushing us but told us to take all the time we wanted there to explore. Once again we were on our way back to Lisbon at the end of a very long but rewarding tour. Eusebio was a perfect host. His van was outfitted with Wifi and he showed lots of videos on a screen that gave us the history of each place that we visited and a bonus was videos of his wife singing beautiful Fado. If ever you select this beautiful tour I do hope that you will also get lucky to get Eusebio Lima of Eagle Travel Tours as your guide.
A trip to Portugal isn’t complete without visiting picturesque Porto. What a beautiful seaside town, with brightly painted facades each dawned with balconies overlooking cobbled stones streets. Quaint little intimate cafes line the streets with something special for everyone’s taste. Was a sight to behold, just stepping back and admiring the many churches as well as the city’s train station(Sao Bento railway station) adorned with their azulejos tiles. Truly an experience I will never forget.
We had such an excellent trip with our tour guide Lima! We honestly could not have asked for a better day or experience. He is knowledgeable, friendly and interested in giving you a good day! His love for his country and passion is evident throughout the day. We first visited Fatima then headed for the day in Porto. We did a fabulous walking tour, ate a traditional Porto lunch and then had an amazing visit at a local winery. We ended the day with a visit to Obidos which is a definite must-see! Lima took plenty of absolutely stunning pictures that he sent us! While 14 hours would feel like a long day, the way the trip is organized it flies by and it would be difficult should this trip be planned any shorter. I would without a doubt recommend this tour or any tour that Lima gives!
The best tourism experience you can have. Excellent driver who was also the guide. Remarkable knowledge of all the places visited and deep knowledge of the history of Portugal. In a word fantastic! Repeat whenever possible!
We made a wonderful tours in the company of Mr Eusébio of Enterprise EAGLE Travel Tours Portugal that took us to know the sights as well as we were presented the typical food of the cities visited. We would like to congratulate the guide Eusébio for being so helpful and attentive which made our tours much more fun and unforgettable.
