Carlos was our guide and he was an amazing story teller giving the history of Sintra and the Pena palace as well as show us highlights in the historic town of Sintra and Cascais! The worst part was that the day flew by so quickly! Definitely the way to go if you will be visiting Sintra during your stay!
I would highly recommend the private tour from Lisbon: Sintra Pena Palace, Cabo de Roca and Cascais. We had a wonderful guide (Tiago) that was excellent in explaining the history and various details of all of the locations that we visited. Be prepared for a little walking if you go to the Palace, however you always have the option to take the bus up. Actually, we much preferred to walk up and learned so much from Tiago by doing so. Excellent tour and guide!
Our guide Tiago was absolutely awesome. He explained the history of the areas we visited and was super enthusiastic. We would recommend this tour and especially Tiago. His boss should give him a raise.
This is an excellent trip. We started off at Cabo da Roca and then to Cascais both of which were excellent stops. The highlight though was the Sintra Pena Palace. Our guide, Hugo was first class and knew so much about the history that it really brought it alive for us. Highly recommended.

Our guide , Carlos, was a superb host and driver. Remember to take the garden tour and purchase the palace tickets for this tour. Carlos was very patient and encouraging along the way. We made numerous photo stops. The time spent in the village of Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais was just the right amount of time taken for scenic photos and dining in the restaurants. Carlos was engaging and witty. He made the day run smoothly. The tour was amazing and the day before communications about the meeting location were most appreciated. Great sites, great food and a great guide!
just wanted to say we really appreciated your tour guide skills. I'm not feeling very well and my wife was injured. You made us feel a part of the group and slowed down so we didn't get left behind. We were on a tour yesterday of the same size, and the guide kept leaving us behind. Other people in the group kept waiting for us and letting us know which direction she went. This tour was one of the best tours we did in Portugal, not only the view and the new places we visited but the guys that guided us were so so friendly, kind and funny. It was a rainy day and they had umbrellas for all of us. At the end they gave each of us a printed photo of our group. It was a beautiful experience.

So incredibly disappointed in this operator. They cancelled our tour 1.5 hrs before pickup time due to the guide having covid. A company with staff should have a backup plan for illnesses. I had to ask for a refund as they didn’t offer it right away. So traveler beware - if their staff is sick they don’t have a backup plan & will just cancel it outright.
Amazing tour!! Our tour guide Matt was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a great tour around various locations including Sintra and Cascais. The communication was great from the team. They were accommodating and flexible. One of the best tours we have been on, every single person in the group loved it.

Beautiful beach town and she gave us time to hit the beach (our request) as well as gave us interesting history and background of the area. Lara was really a lot of fun and a great conversationalist. Great way to spend a day! Beautiful places, amazing views, our guide knew a lot about history and culture of Portugal. Didn't expect to see and learn so much during those couple hours, and we still had time to walk around Sintra on our own and try some local food. And we even got a souvenir at the end of the trip! Truly one of the best tours I've ever been to.
What an amazing tour company. The communication was speedy and accurate & any questions answered quickly. We were picked up in 2 spotless new vans with fantastic guides who provided a lot of information in a relaxed manner. They accommodated dropping us off at the airport too. They fully deserve their 5 stars as they work hard for it, a refreshing change
In the afternoon, we headed to Cascais, a charming coastal town. The guide led us through the beautiful streets, providing insights into the town's history and culture. We visited the Boca do Inferno, a natural wonder, and enjoyed some of the freshest seafood at a local restaurant.
That was an amazing experience. Very kind and helpful guides. 100% recommend this trip to everyone!
