Private Lisbon Sailing Cruise On Sailing Yacht

Words cannot explain what a phenomenal and enjoyable cruise down the Tagus river. Our crew Sebastian and joec were incredible. The hosting was like family. It was a perfect night for sailing and the wind cooperated as we caught real good winds. They served snacks which were just perfect along with wine and soda. This was amazing! The conversation was the best! Cristina and Paolo were totally amusing and engaging! The sailing was a little choppy but we didn't even notice, since the company was so much fun! We had an amazing time on our boat trip with Lisbon by Boat! Our captain, Sebastian, and his first mate, Diego were not only very informative of the history of Lisbon but also made it very entertaining for our whole group. The boat was very nice and they served wine,beer and snacks (and even had blankets for us!) Both of them spoke amazing English, in fact we thought Sebastian was from the United States! They taught us so much while we enjoyed the scenery of the Tagus River. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Lisbon! We highly recommend them and would do it again if we visit Lisbon again!

We booked a daytime 2-hour sail, and it turned into a private boat ride up and down the Tagus. Excellent service, and we lucked out with tremendous weather. The flamengo cheese and drinks were great, but the real value was getting quality time with our captain and first mate and getting a chance to learn about Portugal, Lisbon, and the surrounding area from their perspective.

Booked a private boat for my 60th with seven friends. It was fantastic. 100 per cent. Wonderful boat, staff. Recommend this to anyone.

Went initially on a private cruise for a work function earlier in the week and really enjoyed it so I suggested my husband and I do it again when he joined me later in the week. We booked a private cruise for just the 2 of us. It was the same boat both times but different tour guides. In truth I didn’t pay much attention the first time because I was with a larger group and there were al lot of separate conversations happening (part of why I wanted to do it again privately) but the second time couldn’t have been better. Our guide was Tiego and the “captain” was Joze “Ze” Tiego was incredibly engaging, super knowledgeable, and just an overall interesting and fun person to be around. We had great conversations. Learned a TON and couldn’t have asked for a better team. The trip itself was smooth and beautiful. The boat is clean comfortable and safe. I highly recommend to anyone. You won’t be disappointed. It was undoubtedly the best part of our trip.

Amazing trip on the Tejo with the splendid hosts Josè and Tomas. They show you all the sights along the Lisbon and Almada coast while educating you on the history. They deliver exactly what they promise.

Couldn’t recommend Lisbon By Boat more! We booked a 2 hour Private Sailing Yacht experience for 8 for my sister’s hen party, which well surpassed our expectations. Whilst we read other great reviews about Lisbon By Boat before booking, the sailing yacht itself was bigger than expected and beautifully maintained, with comfortable sun-lounging cushions and a huge speaker for our music. The local Portuguese crew were super welcoming, friendly, and helpful making our trip the best experience it could’ve been. The wine and drinks included were lovely, the service from Christina wonderful. Very good value for money, especially when compared to big Hen/Stag party organisers who charge a lot more for similar group private sailing experiences. Highly recommend Lisbon By Boat, and supporting a local organisation.

We had the most amazing trip on the 21st of May. Lisbon By Boat were fantastic at communicating throughout, really helpful and friendly. On the day we could not have asked for a better experience. Blankets were provided without even having to ask for them, great wine options were available and it just kept flowing and our wonderful captain and skipper could not do enough for us. They were friendly and fun, and nothing was too much trouble. We all had the best time and it was truly the highlight of our trip. Thank you for a truly amazing experience.

The sailing trip was amazing. The yacht is very spacious and in a very good shape. The Skipper was experienced and. Christina, our guide was very friendly, funny and courteous. The best part of our trip was that we spotted a school of dolphins. We have never been this close to dolphins before, a great experience for us all. Thanks to Christina and the whole team for the hospitality?

I was really looking forward to the trip we had planned for a friends hen party, however due to COVID-19 we had to cancel. This company have been great and have given us a full refund as soon as they could. I would highly recommend booking with this company. From the get go they have been very easy to communicate with, informative of the different packages, quick at responding to any questions. When we are able to visit Lisbon again I will definitely be booking with this company again!

We were a group of 16 meant to be coming to Lisbon in April for a hen party. Pedro and Ricardo were so helpful making the booking and gave us all the information and help we needed. Sadly, due to COVID-19 we were unable to make our trip- we were very worried about getting refunds as we would not be able to make the trip another date during the year. However, the Lisbon by Boat team were fabulous in the situation. They stayed in contact with us, giving us updates, communicated very well and refunded us our full deposit, all whilst staying positive and helpful in these sad and difficult times. Lisbon by Boat were great! The experience was fantastic! We had a tour for 4 hours on the boat and they allowed us to bring our own caterers on board. It was a gorgeous boat and the team were great and accommodating.

I booked a birthday cruise for myself and eight friends very last minute, I believe I inquired on a Friday around 3PM for a Saturday cruise and Ricardo from Lisbon by Boat got back to me right away. I wasn't very optimistic we would get a cruise booked since I figured they would be booked up on a busy weekend, perfect weather, and for a Saturday cruise but Ricardo did his best to accommodate and found us a private cruise. The price was very reasonable considering half of our group were Americans and the other half were Australians but compared to USD / AUD prices the total cost was relatively cheap! We booked a 2HR cruise around the Lisbon waters. Checking in, the day of, was as easy as it could get, we met a representative sitting in a van near the center where all the boats were docked. Then we were accompanied to the boat by two of the crew shipmates, Alex (captain) and Jejus (sp?) I called him the Portuguese Jesus, as he looked & played the part ha!. These two are what made our boat trip so much fun, they both were over-the-top accommodating! We brought our own drinks & snacks (even though they provided some) and Jejus would not let us just eat our chips or snacks right out of the bag nor pour our own drinks. He laid everything out in a spread with bowls & utensils for us to easily consume and made it amazingly presentable! Alex has a wealth of knowledge of Lisbon & Portugal, in general, and speaks with a very distinguished passion for the country & people, ask him anything and he has a detailed & valid answer! To top it off, they made a cake using a bunch of the famous Portuguese custard cakes with candles and sang me Happy Birthday in English and in Portuguese! I HIGHLY recommend Lisbon by Boat for any foreign travelers. Thanks to the crew & representatives for an amazing time!

We had a wonderful time on our two hour boat tour. The two yatchs people were very knowledgeable and friendly and told us everything we were seeing and its history. The boat was pristine with lots of areas to sit. We sailed without engine (wind power) the whole time which was a real thrill. Highly recommend!

As a group of 7 girls we hired a yacht for a private sailing tour. We were greeted by Alex and Tina both of whom looked after us perfectly for the entire 4hr cruise. We were a little nervous as it was quite windy when we boarded but we were assured once we set sail it would settle and that it did! We spent four hours sun bathing, singing, dancing and being looked after by both crew members with a superb spread and plenty of beverages. Fantastic experience at a superb price if we ever return to Lisbon we will certainly be rebooking!

Absolutely FANTASTIC! We got picked up (& dropped off) from our location which was so helpful and great when not sure on the local area. Communication via email was quick and sufficient - very good! Yacht Trip- Well we loved it!! Had the best time. The staff were so polite and helpful towards us and made us feel welcome. Lovely wine to drink whilst enjoying the Yacht. The appetiser spread was so beautifully presented & tasted amazing! Top points to the lady in the Yacht ( I forgot her name! She was a credit to the experience) Highly recommended!!! You will not be disappointed at all. This was our favourite activity of the weekend. Thank you!!!

Fantastic time sailing 6 hours in Lisbon and surroundings, an unforgettable moment. We are a group of 5 girl friends celebrating a birthday, we had the boat for us. The boat was just amazing, the food was great, the music we could choose, the sun was shining, some wine in our glasses...and the best was our crew: 2 fantastic sailors: Paolo and Jose. Thank you so much for making our day so enjoyable. We come back next year! Portugal is the best, Lisbon is just great. Xxx

we were a group of 14 women on a hen do ranging in ages from 18-60, we hired a catamaran for 3 hours 130-430 which included drinks and a bbq. We couldn't drink all the alcohol that was provided but we tried our best. The food was great. From the booking process right though to the event itself the staff were efficient and friendly we had such an amazing time, thank you so much for making our day! I would definately book again.

It's already the second time I've hired Lisbon by Boat. The first was with friends and the second, a few days ago with my family. Pedro and Sebastião took care of us at all times and made our boat trip unforgettable. Of course the best of the whole stay in Lisbon.

Rented this private sailing boat for two hours with a group of 8 friends. What wonderful hours we had. Beautiful view, explanation from the skipper about the history of Lisbon, free drinks and food even though they had not ordered. Sailed around and received an explanation of Padrão dos Descobrimentos, the Tower of Belem, the bridge over the water, Christ statue and the king's palace. It is worth every euro to rent, especially with the two skippers who speak excellent English.

Lisbon by boat was a very nice experience. The sights along the route were adequately explained. We implemented the tips for what is worth looking at in the evening and the next day.👍 Christina our guide is a funny and very friendly woman with a lot of empathy.

The sympathy and experience of the team and the quality of the yacht made the ride unforgettable! They were attentive, the available bluetooth allowed us to put our mobile playlist, drinks were served (there was a great variety), photographed the group and passed through all the iconic monuments of the river of Lisbon. I really recommend it!!

A magic moment, Many thanks to the team of "Lisbon by Boat". Two in love on a 50 feet, superb boat with 2 adorable people to skipper the sailboat. Thanks also to Ricardo, available and hyper responsive. Not always reassuring to validate such a remote excursion, on the internet without knowing either the city or society. Go with your eyes closed... you will be delighted.

We went in family to take a boat ride. The Boat is modern and is kept in perfect condition. We were 7 adults and 4 children and we all loved the experience. The staff at Lisbon by Boat was very helpful and gave a detailed explanation of what we could see on the banks of the city. We did much of the sailing trip and the experience was unforgettable, seeing the city at sunset only with the noise of the wind. Definitely repeat!

We took a tour on a Bavaria 50 along the river Tagus with a duration of 2 hours, leaving the Duchy of Bethlehem. We were very well received by Captain Paulo and Cristina, very attentive all the time. They passed us a lot of information about the historical monuments seen from the river. During the tour, snacks were served. The reservation was made with ease 5 days before the date of the tour at a service station near the Pattern of Discoveries. The paid amount was accessible mainly because it was a private tour.
