Private Half Day Tour To Fatima From Lisbon

We would give this tour 10 stars if we could. Our guide’s knowledge of his country and its history was truly impressive. He was eager to both show and tell us about the wonderful stops on this tour. This tour far exceeded our expectations. We hope to return to Portugal because now we understand there is so much more to see.

Wow! Our experience was wonderful! We would highly recommend Diogo Silva with LX Tuk Tour to all our friends and family. If we were to visit again we would hire Diogo as our guide. He is a wealth of information, so very smart about the history of everything. He did not just drop us off at Fatima. During the ride to and from Fatima he talked about the land, the people, the lifestyle, everything. Once at Fatima, he had his own secret VIP parking area and he walked us around the whole church complex. Explaining everything to us. He got us there in time to shop, see two masses, get all our items blessed, and tour the entire area with plenty of time to get us back to cruise port to continue touring around Lisbon. Diogo really made the entire experience enjoyable without stress and the ability to enjoy our pilgrimage to Fatima. We are forever thankful to have had such a wonderful guide.

Check dates before you go to make sure there is not a special event to keep the crowds at a minimum.

Sergio is an expert! He knows all there is to know about Fatima, Lisbon, and its attractions. He was fun and professional. He is our "guy in Lisbon!" Highly recommend him!

The drive is about 1+ hours but well worth it. Very beautiful experience. Diego was our driver and he was very knowledgable and engaging.

Great to visit the Fátima Shrine . It was a great experience . I was able to join the mass. Our tourist guide named Ivo Neves was great. Took us to the village where you can buy the best souvenirs and see the house where Jacinta and family lived.

We did the half day tour, but it was not enough, there was so much to see. Next time I would probably book the whole day. But overall, it was a great experience, the driver picked us up at the hotel in Lisbon and walked with us at the shrine pointing things out. He was very knowledgeable about the shrine and surrounding areas.

Asked for a tour guide who spoke spanish and the one they sent only spoke portuguese. The car was too small for 4 and we were not comfortable at all. Will not recommend.

Very moving experience. Ivo , our tour guide was incredible. He was so accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. We learned so much about the history of Fatima and Portugal. This is a must for Catholics or anyone interested in religion.

Diego was such a great guide! He made our day very special. We traveled with friends to Fatima to discover the day was a special mass for children. There must have been 100,000 people in the square. Parking was non existent, the normal tour was impossible to achieve so he adapted and improved as best he could to achieve the tours goals. He is extremely knowledgeable about Fatima and the Catholic faith, making our experience evenore special. He is a very poised, cultured young gentleman. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a tour that succeeded all expectations. Diego was a wonderful host and went above and beyond, including taking us on a mini- tour back in Lisbon. The ride was great and he was very knowledgeable and great with navigating our way around Fatima. Highly recommend him and the itinerary!

Awesome day trip enhanced by the excellent tour guide Diogo! He was personable , knowledgeable, and extremely considerate of the comfort needs of his 76 yr old clients. Hotel pick up and drop off were as expected and the transportation was very comfortable. Fatima was inspiring and all we had hoped to see and experience! Highly recommend and worth the additional cost for a private tour.

Diogo was wonderful. He picked us up at our hotel and gave us background information about Lisbon and Fatima, then showed us around the various sites within the shrine. We had told him we had an afternoon food tour and he had us back in Lisbon in plenty of time for it!

All of Fatima was a joy to experience. So glad I was able to finally visit. We lit candles, visited the "big" church for the end of services, visited the memorials of the 3 little shepherds in the Rosary Church. Very touching......

We had a great tour with Sergio. He picked us up from our hotel and took us to the village where the 3 shepherds lived, had coffee and pastry and proceeded to Fatima Church.

Beyond pleasantly surprised. Ivo was simply amazing. From the hotel pickup to the hotel drop off, and every moment in between. We had a wonderful experience. During the ride out of the city to Fatima, Ivo provided a myriad of historical and cultural narratives and answered very specific questions about his own background and experiences. His command of English, knowledge of history and his unique life experiences, enhanced our experience of the tour. During our return to Lisbon, Ivo took us to parts of the city we had not seen before. Simply amazing! As for Fatima, his knowledge of its history and appeal was astonishing. At the risk of repeating myself - amazing!

Diogo (hope I'm spelling that correctly) was EXCELLENT!!! On time, great driver, great communicator, knew all the shortcuts and ways around FATIMA so we could complete the tour in 1/2 day. LOVED the tour. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour. We didn't feel rushed at all. I saw everything I had wanted to see plus more thanks to Diogo. Diogo was so knowledgeable - we were really happy we got to meet him and spend the morning with him. Great man!

The guide picked us up at the Airbnb place we stay promptly. The car he drove was very new and clean. He spoke very good English. Very polite. He knows the place very well. We were able to drop off at the other location after the tour. Love it. Thank you so much.

We had an issue getting to our driver Sergio because we docked at the old terminal. However, thru Whatsapp we communicated, but arrived 30 min late. The drive to the Fatima was 1.0-1.5 hours each way. We saw the church, lit candles, and saw where the children were born. Sergio made extra time since we stop and all ate lunch. It was a humbling and most rewarding tour by our remarkable guide. If you only have 4-5 hours, then this is the way to go. We would have preferred the all day tours, but our cruise schedule did not allow it.

Diego was amazing! Completely tailored the trip to what we wanted. This was an emotional trip for me and he did not rush or hurry us through any part of it. He was kind, polite, and helpful. He provided great history not only of Fatima but the car ride there. Excellent safe driver and a fabulous vehicle. Diego also made some great recommendations in Lisbon for us that were absolutely perfect for us! Cannot say enough good things about Duego and this tour.

I was overwhelmed with emotion as I prayed in Rosary church. This was unexpected. This is a holy place.

Our tour guide Diago was so nice, he walked to our Air Bnb to meet us, was on time. He shared interesting facts about Portugal on the way to Fatima and then offered to accompany us through the sites. We accepted of course, it was so nice to have a guide with us. I would do this again except I would book a full day- there was not enough time to attend mass and wait in the long line to light a candle. It was a wonderful day!
