Private Fátima Half Day Tour

I had been in frequent communication with Daniella to arrange the Tour, her responses were quick, clear, patient and very helpful. On her advice we went for the Compact Tour as our ship's departure made the full day doubtful. After a very informative drive to Fatima, Daniella guided us around the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and then we had free time to see the Chapel of the Apparitions and the Basilica of the Holy Trinity. Daniella is an accomplished guide, clear speaking (American English) and with a wealth of anecdotes and relevant information. Would highly recommend this tour.

Daniela was so gracious, friendly, so very knowledgeable and a wonderful driver! She gave such a lovely tour of Fatima and she expressed her religious beliefs and knowledge of the this beautiful miracle that we were able share on this magnificent site.

Our half day tour of Fatima was wonderful. Daniela was a fabulous guide. From booking to pick-up, communications could not have been better. She arrived to pick us up at our AirBnB and transported us to Fatima in her beautiful vehicle. Her knowledge and dedication to the shrine at Fatima was evident in the way she described the story of Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta and the response the children received from the neighbors, the local government and the Church and how that evolved over the course of the Apparitions. We had a great trip with Daniela and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to visit this sacred place.

Daniela was excellent. She confirmed pickup at our hotel. Right on time. Talked to us about what we wished to accomplish at Fátima. Smooth drive. She gave us a great tour of the old basilica. Then gave us free rein to do what we wanted to do (attend Mass, light candles for our friends and family in need). Met us at the pickup point and took us back to Lisbon. Dropped us off at Gulbenkian Museum at our request (after her offer). Highly recommend her and the Fátima visit.

Daniella our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient with the short amount of time we had for a half day tour. We were truly delighted to hear the history, geography and religious topics that Fatima and Portugal had to offer and Daniella was sure to highlight all this and more through out journey. What an amazing company this is. From booking to pick up the service was impeccable. They answered emails queries within hours. I was travelling with my mother who has mobility issues and Daniella was so hands on helping push the wheelchair and making sure mum was comfortable. She even helpedorganisee an extra stop for a hot drink andhomemadee cake when mum got cold. Her knowledge of the surrounding area and the history of the Apparitions at Fatima was astounding. Do not hesitate to book a tour with Magnificat Tours, it was the highlight of our trip!! Daniela was our guide and she was EXCEPTIONAL (and a good driver)!! I wish we booked an all day Fatima tour, but she made sure we saw everything important which we truly appreciated. Daniela is a walking Catholic encyclopedia and she made this trip a unique spiritual experience. For example, she gave us instructions on how we could go to Reconciliation there which was very special. As for logistics, my husband and I were picked up from our Lisbon hotel in the morning and Daniela was kind enough to drop us off at a different location in the afternoon. On the tour, we had time for a quick gift shop stop, toured the highlights (both walking and driving) and had time for our own private reflection. I am still processing all I learned from this tour since Fatima was a bucket list trip for me!

Daniella was absolutely amazing! My husband and I did the private half day tour and we cannot recommend it enough. Professional, clean van, knows the history of Portugal and Fatima. Was able to talk with us on the way there and back. If we could, we would have spent the whole day with Daniella! Thank you so much for adding the sweet touch to our tour. Danilo was a fantastic guide. He went above and beyond at every turn. He was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He really wanted to be sure we saw and understood everything, even stopping at a couple of spots not on our itinerary to help answer our questions. A great 1/2 day trip with a great guide!

The private Fatima half-day tour from Lisbon with Magnificat Tours was FANTASTIC. Our tour guide, Daniella, was super!! She explained so much and could answer all of our questions (and we had a lot!). And this was all done while she was driving us through a rain storm. Daniella is pretty impressive. She added in a brief visit at the shepherd's homes for us, which was greatly appreciated! She provided advice on how to see what we wanted to see and how to have our items blessed. The tour provided enough time to make some souvenir purchases, walk through parts of the shrine with Daniella, walk through more on our own, and we even caught the Catholic Mass. And it was so convenient to be picked up and dropped off right at our hotel in Lisbon. The price was less than other companies offering the tour. We highly recommend this tour!

Seeing Fatima and going to the homes of the 3 children. The private tour guide was quite helpful and gave a lot of information.

We were very disappointed with this tour. Our driver Daniel made us feel concerned about our safety. It was raining very hard. Raining so hard that other drivers had their flashers on and were driving slower. Daniel was driving too fast for our comfort level and was texting! When we asked him to please stop texting, he got very indigent and brushed off our concerns. He did stop texting after we firmly insisted that he stop. I think Daniel is in the wrong job.

Our guide was punctual, very knowledgeable, spoke outstanding English and worked around what we wanted to see.

Our trip to The Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima was amazing. Our guide, Daniella, was at our hotel a few minutes prior to our departure time and was pleasant, intelligent, well spoken, professional and knowledgeable. We were immediately put at ease by her calm demeanor and her excellent communication and driving skills. En route, she discussed the Shrine, the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima, Francisco, Jacinta, and Lucia, in intricate detail and Daniella’s spirituality was inspiring. Daniella is an exceptional conversationalist and extremely well versed. She answered all of our questions about Portugal’s history, local traditions, politics, customs, industry and agriculture. Since we were renting a car a few days later on our trip and unfamiliar with Portuguese highway and street markings, Daniella gave us tremendous insights into driving laws, tolls and road signs; this information proved to be invaluable during the remainder of our trip. This tour was the highlight of our Portugal Trip. My 80-year-old mom and I did this tour with Daniela as our guide. Daniela’s knowledge amazed me during the entire trip. She picked us up in Lisbon and told the story on the way to Fatima. It was like listening to an audiobook without skipping a page. Her information was great and had lots of detail. Once we got there, we went to the village after a short visit to a gift shop. Daniela pays attention to every detail and what is going on around us to make sure we get the best picture or view. You will not find a better tour guide. Trust me! On your way back, ask Daniela about her love for rescuing animals. She is truly a wonderful person inside and out. Note - Book the full-day tour since you must travel to and from Fatima. Even if you choose not to use it the entire day, you will regret it if you do not. If I had more time I would have booked a Portugal wine tour with her too.

Daniela was our private guide and driver and she was extremely knowledgable, professional, and kind. It was very important for me to visit Fatima during my very short stay in Lisbon and she not only took us to the sanctuary itself but to the home of Jacinta and Francisco which was fascinating. The entire town has a very spiritual aura and it was a blessing to be able to visit. Daniela was extremely communicative and understanding even with last minute changes to our pickup location. We recently went for the first time to Lisbon, Portugal and a trip to Fatima was on my husband’s bucket list which meant research was needed to make this an unforgettable trip for him. My son who is in the travel industry booked a half day tour thru Viator and we were blessed to have Daniella as driver and guide; she was incredible. Her wealth of knowledge and passion were evident and her presentation was detailed very informative. In addition to having a private tour we also had a private shopping experience at a wonderful store nearby and enjoyed a cup of their Americana coffee and their authentic bread for breakfast. It has been about 2 weeks since our tour and we are still talking about how special Daniella made our trip to Fatima. My son inadvertently left a small bottle of holy water that he had bought at Fatima and Daniella contacted him the next day to let him know she had made a trip to drop it off at our hotel; that spoke volume of the incredible person she is. We are so grateful and blessed to have had her as she far exceeded our experience and gave us such an amazing experience we will never forget.

Daniel was on time and very helpful. He provided us a car seat for our toddler and had a back up booster seat just in case. He had enough umbrellas for all of us. He explained the trip and informed us so much about Our Lady of Fátima. Attending the Mass is a must to complete the whole trip. We’re glad we booked with their company. Looking forward to more tours with them in the future.

The history of the children, the apparition sites for the angels & Mary, their graves and the huge (50,000+) at the outdoor mass. Daniel was superb in his knowledge, manners & safe travels.

We only booked the half day tour and we definitely regret that we did not do the whole day tour! So if you are reading this, please book their full day tour! It is a very private tour. Me and my husband were the only ones during the tour and it was so special. Going to the village where the three little shepherds grew up, to the sanctuary, to the chapel of apparitions, etc. was very moving. It reaches deep in your soul! I wish we had more time but Danielle was a very good guide! She walked us through the Fatima history like we were there exactly when it happened. It was magical to say the least! Words cannot express how grateful we are for this tour. Book it, it is life changing!

We had a great time on our half day Fatima tour. Daniel was very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to what we wanted to experience. We were so grateful to have him to share all the intricate details about Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta; neat facts we wouldn’t have known otherwise. We did a half day private tour of Fatima, since I did not realize there was a full day tour! Our guide Daniela was AMAZING!! Orginally we were just suppose to go to the sanctuary, but she took us to the village where the children grew up and when Our Lady appeared to the children the 5th time. She gave us so much information about Our Lady of Fatima and Lisbon in general. I left feeling enlightened. It was a powerful and moving experience and this tour is a must when in Lisbon. I highly suggest doing a full day private tour, we wish we did! I highly suggest you use Magnificat Tour and hopefully Daniela is your tour guide!!!
