Porto, Nazaré & Óbidos In One Day: Full-day Tour From Lisbon

Ricardo Dias is a very professional, intelligent and has a lot of knowledge and experience. He does the tour in an efficient way but also very friendly, funny manner. We loved two of the three cities Porto and Azares Obido was cute I recommend seeing all especially Azares on the beach The bus was comfortable and the guide Damion was helpful and funny and kind and informative too

Had such a great day! To start, the pick-up/drop-off location is easy to get to and central. We traveled on a large bus that was super comfortable as well (however, no power outlets or wifi just an FYI). Obidos was much cuter than I had expected! Wasn’t on my list of places to visit but so happy I did. Nazare was a lovely stop, but unfortunately the day didn’t lend itself to big waves so there wasn’t too much to do there. Porto was beautiful. Wish we could be there longer, but understandably, time was limited. Saw enough to make me want to come back though! Damian, our guide, was super sweet and so helpful. Had a lot of great recommendations. It’s a long, long day, but well worth it, especially for the price.

It was unfortunate but the tour was cancelled oast minute as the guide was not available but we stood there for almost one hour and no communication, when someone finally answered from the tour company- they said they already emailed Viator bur i never got an email from viator to i form us and then we were told there is bo way to still do the tour today as everything was sold out. We understand emergencies can happen but it is the lack of communication that is disappointing.

We booked this tour last minute because it was the same price as a round trip train ticket to Porto so we decided it was a better idea to discover 3 cities (Óbidos, Nazare and Porto) instead of one. Francisco, the tour guide was very knowledgeable about history, fun facts, gastronomy and more. The bus was very comfortable and the driver very responsible.

This trip was exactly what we were looking for— round trip from Lisbon to Obidos, Nazare and Porto back to Lisbon. Not all the trips we saw brought you back to Lisbon. Our guide, Joaol, aka “Johnny” was a wealth of information. He gave us a lot of information about the history of Portugal and provided information about each site we stopped at. We were able to spend some time on our own at each stop to explore and/or shop. Bring euros because not all the shops or restaurants take credit cards. We opted for the upgrade with lunch. Joaol took us to a nice restaurant where we had authentic Portuguese food that was delicious and plentiful. Alex, our bus driver, was great. He got us to each destination safely. (NOt always an easy feat, as some of streets were not built for a big tour bus.) The bus was air conditioned and very comfortable and smooth. It has free WiFi and plugs to recharge our phones.

It was a great experience, Joao is an amazing tour guide. Kept us totally engrossed and made sure we don’t miss out on important sites.

The transportation bus was very comfortable and driver was excellent. Fransisco, our guide, was very knowledgeable and shared nice bits of Portuguese history along the way.

What a fun day. Our guide, Johnny, seemed to have this tour down to perfection. I learned so much about Portugese history and culture, in an enjoyable way. If you want to learn even more, or get local suggestions, Johnny made it very clear that he was there to give answers. The bus was very comfortable and lets you relax between stops. It is a busy day, but if you're like me and want to get the absolute most out of the day then this is for you.

Francisco was such a great guide. He was so knowledgeable and very good at keeping us on schedule and we were able to do everything we wanted. He recommended some great restaurants and we had a delicious meal of local specialties and of course some perfect Porto wine! This was so much better than taking the train from Lisbon and doing it on our own. We go to experience Óbidos and Nazaré as well as Porto. I highly recommend this tour.

We saw Obiodos, Navarre and Porto. A quick “cliff note tour” of each town. But it was plenty for us. We did do the lunch upgrade which was a very nice spread of classic Portuguese dishes.

It was a good opportunity to see three beautiful places at the same day. Be ready for long distances, walking and monitoring your time for photos and souvenirs. The guide was very good and informative, with sense of humor.

Francisco Maia is very funny and very responsible tour guide. He knows Porto’s history and hidden gems extremely well, bringing every story alive with passion. He patiently answered all our questions, gave great local tips for food and photo spots, and kept our group comfortable throughout. We loved his easy-going vibe. This Porto tour was absolutely wonderful thanks to him. We highly recommend booking him if you visit Porto!

Great tour. Got to see lots of different parts of Portugal in one trip. It is a busy day, but well planned. Francisco was an amazing guide.

Awesome guide and experience!! We enjoyed seeing 2 cities on the way to Porto. We stayed in Porto rather than going back to Lisbon and they easily accommodated our luggage.

It’s a long day (12 hours) but the two villages were worth the time and seeing a brief overview of downtown Porto was good especially if you aren’t going to be able to spend a day or more in the City while in Portugal. The guide Jonny knows the history of Portugal forward and back and provided very interesting commentary the entire day. Driver Carlos was very good and did a great job.

I had an excellent time at all 3 cities. Our guide, Juao (Jonny) was engaging, funny, knowledgeable and open. I enjoyed the Porto walking tour in particular.

Ricardo was an outstanding guide, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. His knowledge was remarkable. He shared rich, fascinating details about the history of all three cities, and he made every stop come alive with stories and context that we would never have picked up on our own. I enjoyed every minute of it. As a wonderful bonus, Ricardo also has a truly beautiful singing voice. On the ride back, we were treated to a song, and it was the perfect way to end the day. It's the kind of personal touch that turned a great tour into a memorable one. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting the area.

Great all day trip with Ricardo,he has a lot of knowledge of each area including the history. I would have liked to get another 20 minutes online Obidos to shop, but we're on a time schedule. Porto was very interesting.

The tour was ok. Honestly I’d just find my way to Obidios and spend half the day there. The guide seemed tired.

Excellent day trip from Lisbon. We visited three cities in one day. The guide (John) was very informative and efficient at keeping all guests to the itinerary and timings. He answered question and went above and beyond to ensure all guests were enjoying the day. We had a fabulous lunch which we opted into at a local restaurant in Porto - thoroughly enjoyable. The bus was very comfortable and the driver great. Would highly recommend.

Although the trip lasted the entire day, i never felt tired because everything was so well organized and thoughtfully planned. We had a wonderful experience on the Porto, Óbidos, and Nazaré tour! The trip was well organized, and each destination was beautiful and unique. Óbidos charmed us with its historic streets, while Nazaré offered stunning coastal views. The journey was enjoyable, informative, and full of memorable moments. Ricardo was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the tour. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the beauty and culture of Portugal! I suggest to decrease the time in Nazare and add it to Porto ‘s time to explore more on their own time prior to the local guide. Another small suggestion would be to include a short stop along the way for a restroom break, especially during the longer drives( Nazare to Porto) . Thank you.
