We had the best time! The class was very informative and fun. I loved the energy from the instructor. I would recommend to anyone.

The Workshop takes place in Casa dos Ovos Moles, we are specialized in conventual pastry, the anciest portuguese pastry created inside the convents in the 16th century, populary known as "ovos moles" and famous by its recipes - pastel de nata, pão de ló ovar, ovos moles de aveiro, pudim abade de priscos,...dozens of divine delights.

This was an amazing experience led by Filipa. She was extremely patient teaching everyone and made the class fun and interactive! She explained the history of the pastry and answered any questions. She was also very fun to chat with as we enjoyed the pastel de nata at the end of the class. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Lisbon and would recommend this to anyone!
What a super experience. It was amazing, learning to cook these delicious pastries. We had a fantastic time and I am looking forward to trying these at home.
It was amazing and the instructor had a way of engaging all three of my grandchildren. The pastry we made was the best we have ever had.
Semi-hands on experience. They are hard to make! I will never do it but I like eating them! Mostly enjoyed instructor’s cultural info on Portugal.
Filipa was very friendly. She explained everything very well. We had a good time and at the end we ate the tarts that we had made - they were delicious, especially washed down with some port.
Absolutely fabulous oppotunity to not only learn to cook these beautiful cakes but to learn more about the history and culture of this gorgeous country. I would definitely recommend.
Fun, interactive, delicious pastries. class actually went about 2 and 1/2 hours. we all enjoyed--including our 14 yr old daughter
Hands on and lots of fun. Nice small group with lots of opportunity to ask questions. Instructor was upbeat and friendly. Lovely little cafe.
We had a wonderful time learning to make Pastel de Nata. Our hostess was an excellent teacher who is clearly passionate about her craft. Our entire family very much enjoyed the experience.
Enjoy and smile! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Hands on for everyone. Our instructor was wonderful and explained every step.
Great and unique experience in Lisbon. The instructor was clearly well-versed in her craft, and gave us helpful tips to make the perfect Pasteis de Nata. They tasted delicious! We were also able to take home a recipe to try them out on our own.
Lovely small workshop! Just 4 people. Lots of opportunity to participate and hands on instruction. Learned a lot and enjoyed the fresh nata!
Pastel de Nata baking experience in an authentic bakery in the heart of town. Step by step instructions and at the end a nice coffee or port as you taste your creations.
Absolutely excellent. Great host/instructor. We followed the process making the pasta de nata from scratch and the end result was delicious. Looking forward to trying to make some when we go back home.
Very good value for money, great fun and delicious pastels at the end of it - can’t wait to try making them at home! Small group and Philippa made sure everyone was involved
Small class experience with a great instructor and lots of hands on experience making the Pastel de Nata pastry.
Interesting, fun and learning experience from a professional chef. Chef was engaging, funny and explained and demonstrated well.
Really lovely experience. Filipa was really funny, informative and overall a great experience. There were only 6 of us which meant we all got a personalised part of the process. The actual pastel de natas were delicious! Would definitely recommend. The shop is also beautiful and the other staff very friendly.
We had a great time in a small group learning to make pasteles de nata with Filipa. She explained all the steps in detail and everyone got a chance to actually try their hand at rolling out puff pastry and fitting it in the baking tins which was quite a bit more complicated than you would expect. We all had a nice conversation over coffee with the pastries we had made.
Though I arrived a little late, (I got lost) our host was excellent and so clear I was able to understand and pick up everything. We were all involved and I know we all really enjoyed it. She took a great pride in her skills and we were all inspired to try when we got home. At the end of it all, we got to sit down and enjoy them!
The class was a lot of fun. A little bit too much watching and standing in the heat. It was a very informative class and we will be making these at home.
It was absolutely wonderful. Great small intimate bakery in Chiado. It was fantastic as well as fun.
It’s was super fun making the pastel de nata. And it really tasted great better than everything I’ve tasted
Very fun and you learn a lot! Also, it is a small group, which really helpt to have more time and attention per person for guidance.
Our family really enjoyed this activity and eating the pastel de nata. So glad we added it to our trip!
We learned a lot of details about making Natel de Nata and we thought our final product was some of the best we had!
The shop was very cute and I liked the class was only 6 people. The instructor was unnecessarily intense. The class was 2.5 hours when it could’ve been under 2. The instructor constantly critiqued us and made us feel inferior while baking. It felt more like a cooking competition show versus a relaxed vacation activity.
This was a great time! The small group allows everyone to be involved. Very friendly and funny instruction! Definitely recommend this to everyone!
We had an amazing time. Filipa was an amazing hostess and insured that everybody participated. The end result was delicious.
Very nice experience to prepare Pastel de Nata yourself. The "trainer" Philipa was very kind and explained very well what to do and why. Just about ten minutes before the final step (baking off) there was the current abort which affected the whole Iberian peninsula. Philipa reacted in a quite relaxed way and suggested to finish the other day. The next morning we contacted by Whatsapp, went back and finished our workshop and enjoyed these delicious snacks.
This was a fun class. I never knew how involved making this pastry is. It was a group of 6 and we all participated in the making of the pastry. Instructor owned the pastry shop where the class was. Her English was great and she was very involved.
Absolutely an amazing time. You won’t regret it. It’s very interesting to learn how to make these and the end results tasted so good.
Myself and my husband attended the Pastel de Nata workshop and we had a fantastic time. Filipa was a wonderful host and made the experience really fun and lighthearted. We were with another group for the workshop and it was lovely to all sit at the end of the workshop with Filipa and enjoy our creations alongside a great chat. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Lisbon.
Great experience smaller group means your not lost in the back everyone gets help and attention, on top of that the lady running the class was awesome and clearly loved what she does.
We had a fabulous time with Filipa! She was very patient with us and taught us how to bake the Pastel De Nata truly from scratch. Wonderful experience!
Highly recommend. Filipa is fun and engaging while teaching you how to properly make the pastel de nata, with a bit of history. Her warmth and passion for baking shine. Truly a master of her craft.
The guide was very knowledgeable, and delivered the tour. Very professionally answering all the questions
A fantastic educational treat highlighted by our wonderful teacher and the expertise that comes with experience.
A lot of fun. Patient instruction. Followed by a glass of port and tasting the pastries that we prepared. Also had a great conversation with our host regarding life in Portugal.
Great fun making these tasty pastries. Filipa was very informative and a good teacher. Nice location.
What a wonderful way to enjoy Portugal, by learning to make a traditional dessert. Filipa was very patient and kind in giving us instructions. She wanted to make sure we learned the process correctly and the finished pastel de nata was delicious! I highly recommend taking this class at Casa dos oves moles in Lisbon from Filipa.
Fantastic experience! I brought this as a present for my friend and it was certainly a highlight of the trip. I would recommend to anyone. Filipa was a great host and instructor.
Our teacher (Filipe??) was so nice and very patient. The pastries take technique and she explained each step beautifully. Thank you!
If you are a Pastel de Nata-lover, I totally recommend this workshop. We had such a wonderful time making and eating this lovely pastry.
This was one of the best things we did in Lisbon! Fillipa was a very skilled pastry chef, who patiently taught us how to make every step of the pastel de nata. A small group setting so personal attention was given to each. So much fun and we got to enjoy the fruits of our labour at the end with a glass of port or coffee! Delicious!
The class was fun and delicious! The instructor and her assistant were great...even when we made mistakes! If you're on a tight schedule, allow for 3 hours (vs 2). Don't think about it any longer; just book it!
Filipa was a delightful, culinary baking instructor! she was very personable and gracious and made it fun and interactive. I wasn’t the one that really wanted to attend. It was my daughter and I was glad that I did. It definitely was a hands-on workshop and the Pastel de Nata tasted better than the ones that I had in Porto!
This was a small group and the teacher was very attentive to each participant and gave specific instructions. Excellent class. The only thing was we were promised the recipe but I never received it!
It was a good and personal session where we learned a lot on pastrybaking. Very serious and fun at the same time. And the pastel the nata was delicious!
