Bruno was a terrific guide for my day to Fatima and Nazare. So knowledgeable on Portugal's history, government, and traditions. We conversed easily all day. When I felt unwell in the afternoon, he was very kind and made sure I got back to Lisbon quickly. I highly recommend any tour with Bruno.

Several stops, all very interesting. Jose was our guide and he was great. Was a wealth of knowledge about every stop. Kept in contact with texts so we knew when he was coming to pick us up.

Bruno was a perfect guide for our group of 8 curious folks. He took us on a great drive showing us the sites we wanted to see and surprised us with lovely off the beaten path stops for coffee and lunch. Bruno's love for his country and her history made the tour so very special. He is warm, intelligent, insightful and an avid historian and geographer. . Bruno shared so many perspectives on aspects of Portugal and we all really felt like we had a cultural, historical and visual day of immersion learning as well as sight seeing. The tour was memorable and thought provoking and set us all up for the rest of our wanderings around Lisbon. I highly recommend this tour.

Flexible, courteous, easy to talk to and full of knowledge about Portugal history! We were able to customize our tour to spend more time at certain sites and Bruno took great care of us! We ate at authentic restaurants during our day and a half on tours and having a local to show us around was a fabulous perk. Be sure to book early if you can. Note that the cost does not include meals, overnight accommodations or admissions to sites that charge a fee.

We did a tour with Portugal Unknown Tours and it was incredible. We decided to choose the Fatima - Nazare - obidos tour because I really wanted to see the big waves. The whole process was super comfortable and trustworthy, with excellent communication, we want to spend more time in Nazare and skip fatima, and they were flexible to what we wanted and adapted the tour as we wished. Our guide João was waiting for us right on time at our hotel in Lisbon, and from then on, until the end of the day, he was simply fantastic. He explained everything along the way about Portugal history. We stop for lunch in Nazare and OMG...amazing sea food! I loved Nazare – there weren’t always big waves, but that depends on the time of year and sea conditions to form the big waves. However, there were surfers in the water, so for anyone who loves surfing, it was awesome to be there and watch! The day was super smooth, we never felt rushed, and we HIGHLY recommend it! We had an amazing tour with Bruno to Nazare, Batalha Monastery, and Obidos Village. He was very flexible with the pickup location and allowing us to tailor the tour to spend more time in Nazare. He shared a lot of knowledge of the places and towns we visited. Definitely was an amazing tour that couldn’t be beat!

We went on a private tour with Bruno in early May 2024. He tailored an itinerary to suit us which included the dinosaur footprints outside Fatima. We had an amazing day. It was an amazing trip from start to finish. Our guide and driver, Victhor, was on time, enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable. We loved all the sights, plus having time to ourselves to roam around. He booked a restaurant for us in Nazaré where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. We would do it again in a heartbeat!

We had a private tour that took us from Lousã to Nazaré and Óbidos, ending in Sintra. Our guide, Bruno, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the towns that we visited, sharing historical information and describing cultural practices in ways that really added to our appreciation of the region. He was super flexible on timing, and he shared recommendations of additional sites to visit, restaurants to try, interesting hikes… above and beyond the itinerary for our day. We had a great experience and highly recommend this service.

Our tour guide Diogo was the best! We already got him the 2nd time around on request! The places we went to were breath taking, especially the view from the North shore. He also shared secrets of the best places to eat and drink!! Excellent!!!

It was a very spiritual experience personally and was the most reflective part of our trip to Portugal. The Batalha was amazing, highly recommended for anyone that likes architecture. Obidos was beautiful even without a festival, all the shops were open for tourist. Nazare had a lot of rain but we still got to see some big waves and enjoy some Portuguese food and wine. We recommend trying the "green" wine as they call it. Rita was amazing and shared some of the history/culture of each area.

Myself, my wife, and our 20 year old daughter did this private tour. Joao arrived at our hotel on time at 9:00 am and spent the next 10 hours with us. He was extremely knowledgeable about the country and the three places we went and took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We highly recommend this tour with Joao!

Bruno’s day trip to Fatima, Batalha, Nazare, and Obidos was wonderful. The day was perfectly spaced with a combination of guided time and private time. Bruno has a wealth of knowledge about the history of Portugal as well as more current topics. The four sights provided us with a wonderful variety of experiences. The stop for lunch in Nazare felt like a mini beachside vacation. We often use tour guides when travel but we we specially like this tour because of the friendliness and experience of our guide. Our tour and guide were great! Our tour guide Gonçalo was knowledgeable and entertaining. He personalized our tour so we got to see and experience exactly what we wanted to. He showed us amazing sites, told us stories about the places we saw and the people who had lived there, and he timed our trip so we could experience the sunset over the ocean at the end of the day. I had a great day tour to Batalha, Alcobaça, Nazare, and Obidos with Pedro. Saw so many beautiful places in one day. Pedro was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable (he’s a walking wikipedia!). I highly recommend him.

At 9 a.m. we left the hotel with Bruno, who explained at the beginning the 4 places we were going to visit and the order in which we would do it (we added Batalha). It adapted to our preferences of spending more time in some places than others, it was giving us information of all the sites, which are beautiful, each with its own (religious space, beach, monastery, medieval village...). We really enjoyed this tour because you see very different things and it is a fabulous way to get to know Portugal.
