I had the most amazing tour with Susana. It was well worth the cost and the perfect amount of time for each place. The cave is remarkable and something I will never forget! Nazaré was a beautiful beach town with amazing views and surf history. Obidos was a quaint medieval town with lots of charm and history. But truly this experience was unforgettable because of my guide, Susana. She was so kind and knowledgeable. I advised her I get car sick and she made sure to drive slow on turns, check in with me and offer breaks/dramamine. I’m so grateful she was the one to share these parts of Portugal with me.

Incredible day with 3 unique Portugal experiences and the most amazing guide. The cave left me speechless—something I will never forget! Nazaré has a quaint beach town with amazing views. I enjoyed the surf museum and imagining the huge winter waves that surfers around the world will ride! And Óbidos was a cute medieval town with lots of charm. Susana was so kind and knowledgeable. I tend to get carsick so she made sure to take turns slow and check in with me. I felt so lucky to have her as my guide. I can’t stress enough how much she made this tour unforgettable and comfortable for me. What a lovely lovely human!

We especially appreciated her clear communication and deep knowledge of the country. The tour offered a wonderful mix of natural beauty, coastal drama, and historic charm, and it let us experience in one day what would have been very difficult to manage on our own. Miguel picked us up promptly. We went to the caves, which were really deep and elaborate. Lots of steps down but a nice elevator up. Really amazing story of how they were found and continue to be explored and expanded. Tour of the caves was in Portuguese but Miguel gave an excellent interpretation and explanation. Next, rather than go to Nazaré, we went to the monastery of Alcobaca, a really lovely monument with an attached church where Ines Decastro and king Pedro were buried. We heard about their doomed and tragic love story and had a terrific lunch followed by award winning pastries at a local shop. Followed by a visit to the medieval town of Obidos for Gimbre liqueur and shopping.

Bernardo was a wonderful guide. He was courteous, friendly, and spoke clear English. We really enjoyed the experience and highly recommend the tour. The stops were sights to see!

I’ve visited a lot of caves but this one was spectacular not only because of its size but also the stories of its discovery and development. Excellent!! Obidos is a cute walled city but mostly for folks who love shopping.

We started our tour in the charming town of Óbidos, wandering through its beautiful streets and wall and soaking in the magical atmosphere. From there, we continued to Nazaré, where we were amazed by the breathtaking views and the town’s unique charm. We ended the day at the incredible stalactite caves, which were simply unforgettable. Throughout the trip, Susana was an exceptional guide: kind, attentive, and full of fascinating knowledge. She explained everything perfectly and shared so many interesting details beyond the basics. I highly recommend her and her company’s services, truly a five-star experience from start to finish!

Susana was such a wonderful tourist. We did the “Caves and Waves” tour. She was so knowledgeable and helped us every step of the way. She was flexible in adding another attraction that I had on my list in Nazare. She booked us a sea view lunch at a beautiful restaurant. This tour was very worth it! We were picked up from our hotel by our lovely tour guide - Simone. She had a clean and comfortable vehicle for all of my family. She even had bottles of water for everyone. She was knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. It was a very enjoyable day considering it was quite long but everyone have a great time. The cave that we visited was amazing! Make sure you’re dressed appropriately. Don’t wear anything too long. It’s a bit wet in certain areas and I wore a white skirt and it was really dirty on the hem at the end of the visit but it was all worth it. It’s a bit of a trek to go down but it had rails for us to use for safety. The next place was Fátima. It is worth the visit for those who have catholic faith. The next one was a lovely lunch in Nazaré where we had a reallly good octopus dish at the Pangea . They are well known for it. We were disappointed that there was no big waves that day but the view was still beautiful. So it’s still worth the trip to go there. Another place that we visited is obidos. What a lovely place! Would love to have spent a day in that place alone. Overall, it was a great experience! Simone was an amazing tour guide.

We had a completely wonderful day with Miguel! We loved the private van and his English commentary throughout the day was the best. All 4 planned stops were lots of fun and he let us stop as long as we wanted and was wonderfully flexible with everything. I cannot recommend this tour strongly enough and they earned all 5 stars.

This private tour was a fantastic combination of God's created beauty in the caves and the beach of Nazare, the spiritual power of Fatima and the history and preserved city of Obidos. Doing it as a private tour allowed us to spend the time where we preferred, which was great. The caves were amazing! The largest, best presented and navigated natural caves we have ever seen. It's unbelievable to hear the stories of the first explorers and to walk through the beautiful formations. Fatima is inspiring. Nazare's waves and beach was beautiful. Obidos is somewhere you can wander and enjoy for hours. Our guide Miguel was exceptional and made the day tremendously enjoyable. He got us to each location with comfort and efficiency, despite some traffic and road closures. His knowledge of history brought all the sights we saw to life. His overall knowledge of history and Portugal kept the ride interesting and it passed quickly even though the day was long. Highly recommend this tour with this. company.

Caves were amazing. Seashore was beautiful with perfect weather. Fátima was extra special learning the history of this site.

Amazing tour! We had a great time with our guide Miguel, who was very friendly and knew so much history about Portugal and the places we visited that the car rides flew by. At his recommendation, we flipped the day to start in óbidas and end at the caves, which was perfect since we could explore óbidas without a large crowd and end the day in a cool cave. From óbidas, we went to nazaré and had lunch there, then onto fátima. Highly recommend this tour, which is a great way to see other locations near Lisbon that are longer to get to by train. Thanks!

What made the tour especially enjoyable was Susana’s fun, down-to-earth personality. It was clear that she is well-loved and respected. Everywhere we went, people greeted her with warm smiles and hugs, highlighting just how genuine and likable she is. She also has very impressive knowledge of the history and interesting facts and stories about each site. It's rare to find someone who not only knows their stuff but also makes you feel like you're being shown around by a friend. I can't recommend this tour and Susana, in particular, enough. Outstanding "very full" day trip for our group of five. Our guide Juan & driver Margarita were both very personable & provided expert commentary. Mira Caves - amazing. Fatima - intriguing history. Nazare - awe inspiring, even though waves were only 3-4 metres. Got a swim in at the south beach. Seafood lunch was best seafood ever! Obidos - very interesting ancient city. An excellent choice for a one day excursion! We were able to visit all these sites with Susana who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and caring. She made our day truly enjoyable by allowing us to cater the trip to our likes which in our case was a little more free time to shop! At the end of the day we were amazed at all the wonderful sites we visited and all the information Susana provided at each stop. Susana was also a great photographer and knew exactly where to take the best pictures. She is also a great driver with a beautiful and spotless Mercedes Benz van for a comfortable and safe trip! Would do it again!

An absolute MUST. This tour covers some of the most stunning scenery and locations in the southern/coastal regions Portugal, all in one day. If you have more time, I'd recommend spending the day at the Beach - breathtaking! Our tour guide, Joao, was very knowledgeable, very relaxed, very friendly - highly recommend! We have two kids, ages 10 & 16, and they thoroughly enjoyed the day (though they slept most of the drive time, we were all exhausted from our previous travels prior to arriving in Lisbon). I feel like we learned a LOT and created some life-long memories! Oh, and the vehicle utilized EXTREMELY clean, comfortable and he drove perfectly. It was an excellent experience. The one negative was our lunch, though that was partly our fault. We ate at a restaurant with reasonable pricing, and ordered a fish for my husband and I to share - the price wasn't listed, but even the typically expensive fish (ahi tuna, for example) was reasonably priced.... When we received our bill, we were charged 84 € for essentially two filets of sea bass! And it wasn't even thoroughly cooked!! Our jaws dropped. Even hog fish, which is pricey back home due to the difficulty in catching it, wouldn't have been more than $30-40 for the portion we had. I was pretty upset - we would have ordered their seafood "boat," which brought lobsters, oysters, crab, etc. (It was huge and full of the most expensive seafood) which was only 82€) - something we didn't order because it was so expensive. I'm still bothered by this - but lesson learned. Be warned: ask, don't ASSUME.
