Itinerary
A gourgeous suspension bridge that is one of Lisbon’s most notable landmarks as it spans the River Tagus at the narrowest point. This massive bridge closely resembles that of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and the date name remembers the Portuguese Carnation Revolution of 25 April 1974.
The Padrão dos Descobrimentos is a bold and imposing monument situated on the banks Tejo Estuary. The monument celebrates the 15 and 16th-century Portuguese explorers and visionaries , who established Portugal as the most powerful seafaring nation of the era.
A fortress built in the XVI century to guard the entrance to Lisbon’s harbor and protect the city. The monument’s exceptional architecture and its historical significance symbolize Portugal’s Age of Discovery and elevated its significance as one of UNESCO’s World Heritage monuments.
MAAT is the new cultural project for the city of Lisbon that is focused on three areas - Art, Architecture and Technology. The beatiful museum presents national and international exhibitions by contemporary artists, architects and thinkers.
The old Electricity Museum, in Portuguese Museu da Electricidade, is a cultural centre that presents the evolution of energy with a Museum of Science and Industrial Archaeology concept, where themed and experimental exhibits live side by side with a great variety of cultural events.
The statue of Christ stands high above the southern banks of the Tejo Estuary, and depicts Christ with arms raised, blessing the city. Cristo Rei was inaugurated across the Tagus in 1959, as a way for the Portuguese episcopate to thank God for having spared Lisbon from World War II.
The riverfront area of Almada, a small city reachable with a ferry ride from Lisbon’s Cais do Sodré terminus. Right in front of its boat station is a concentration of traditional marisqueiras, typical seafood houses from where you can glimpse a sweeping view of almost the whole of Lisbon across the other side.
The Praça do Comércio is the grandest of Lisbon’s plazas. This magnificent plaza opens out on the Tejo Estuary, and is surrounded on three sides by distractive yellow Pombaline architecture, with the decorative Arco da Rua Augusta as the focal point of the plaza.

What an amazing experience on the water. The sailboat was an amazing experience. The boat mates and captain had the best personality and attentiveness. Glass was never empty and loved showing off their city. I would highly recommend doing the sunset cruise on one of the evenings. A magical city at night.
Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The crew were amazing and looked after us very well. Good food, wine and company
Wonderful from start to finish, apart from the sunset in as it was a cloudy night everything was perfect.
Would def book again. Good value. Lovely classic boat, seems very well updated & maintained, skippered by her experienced owner. Lots of attention to detail, felt very safe at all times. Suitable for adults, families & couples. Not a loud party boat trip, if you're looking for an authentic experience with soul, this is it. Watching the sunset in that timeless setting was perfect. Thank you.
Great experience with passionate skipper and crew (Lorenzo and Riccardo). Very strongly recommend
Friendly, warm, inviting, chill, knowledgeable, fun… all words that I would use to describe the sailboat crew. Enjoyed the experience!
Awesome experience with Angelo and Meaghan! Wonderful way to see Lisboa!
Another excellent fun sail with Furanai ... great way to see Lisboa from the river. Highly recommended.
Just lovely. Short and sweet story a little about Lisbon. Just hanging out, enjoying the beautiful view and relaxing. If you had any questions about the sights, you could ask.
The cruise was lovely! The skipper and his crew were attentive and pointed out a few landmarks as we sailed, but didn’t overwhelm us with too much information. It was relaxing and worth every cent!
I would recommend this trip. We loved it. So relaxing and informative. Blankets and wine . Fabulous time. Worth the money. Lovely views. Better than a big boat trip. More personal. You can ask questions on the way
This is a wonderful 2 hour sunset tour on a vintage sailboat with plenty of room and some nice wine and cheese. The dock is easy to find, only a short Uber from the center of Lisbon, less than $10. You can also take the local train 2 stops. The tour is right in the river and passes by Belem, the April 25 bridge, and right in front of the Praça Comercio We had a perfect evening for the sunset and Angelo, the captain made sure we were able to enjoy every moment.
We come to Lisbon often, this was our first time on the River. It was a great experience Skipper Angelo was great!
Personal, relaxing and beautiful way to enjoy the Lisbon sunset. This is a cruise if you don't want a party boat and you do want to feel the sun on your face and a peaceful.sailing experience.
The experience was for my partners birthday. The weather was perfect, the boat was 1st class and lovely, there was a group of 6 of us (3 couples) to the boat. There was bean bag/chairs and some lay down beds, this made it very comfortable and relaxing. We was given cheese, bread and wine + water. The captain was very helpful and friendly and really made us all feel at ease, his wife was also on the boat who sailed with him and served us where needed. Could not recommend this enough. I tipped them both as I personally think €49 per person is too cheap for what they offered.
Great way to see the city, very kind guides and lovely views, would recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon
Eduardo and his partner (I can’t remember her name right now) were awesome hosts! The green wine is delicious and the views were amazing! You can’t go wrong booking this one.
Great cruise. The captain and mate were the best. I would recommend this tour to everyone. We had the best time…..so glad we went.
Eduardo was an amazing captain! the boat was unique and we saw all of the Belem and harbor monuments and the sunset ! the snacks and wine were a bonus!
This sunset cruise was on a perfect afternoon: not too crowded, not too hot, not too rough, et al. The tour guides (a nice couple) were informed, courteous, and very friendly. Had a great time!
The boat was beautiful and I really enjoyed the sunset tour! Eduardo and his girlfriend were really chill and nice to talk to. They provided some small tidbits of information about what we were sailing by and also some light snacks in addition to wine! Can recommend!
Really nice. We had a great moment. The boat was only for us (5) and we had something to eat and 3 bottles of wine. This was amazing.
Beautiful sunset, friendly crew and good vibes all round! Would highly recommended this for small groups and couples who are looking for a more chilled boat experience.
We had a wonderful time! Eduardo and Carlotta (? Unsure of how to spell her name- she was lovely) were fantastic guides! The boat was very comfortable, a lot of room for everyone. They kept our wine filled and belly’s full with snacks at the end. Beautiful way to watch the sunset!
A lovely experience showing views across the city. Eduardo was a very informative and considerate skipper and guide.
We had an excellent time on the sunset cruise! Our skipper and first mate were so friendly and knowledgeable it because a lesson in maritime history as well as a scenic tour. Highly recommend!!!
The weather was beautiful along with Captain Eduardo and lady Carloto hosting the lovely sunset sail down Tagus River. They both were very kind, easy going which made the hours on the water very relaxing allowing a wonderful experience for our last night in Portugal. Knowledgeable and graceful hosts which made a truly special time for me and my family. Obrigada !
We had a wonderful trip on the river, the crew were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The wine and cheese, meats and breads offered were delicious. Excellent value for money.
We had the sunset boat trip experience and it was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and the views of Lisbon were stunning. Would highly recommend this company.
The crew and yacht were very nice. Our evening cruise was terrific. Our captain Eduardo was good and tried really hard to make everyone comfortable. The other crew members could have been a bit more engaging, perhaps they didn’t speak English? And more wine would be nice, on a two hour cruise (two glasses seemed a bit meager). The tapas were perfect!
Great boat trip, highly recommend. Lovely boat, plenty of room to have own space, very informative host, interesting and nice wine & nibbles. Great value too.
This was the best tour we did during our short stay in Lisbon. It was beautiful, relaxing, and full of the most gorgeous photo opportunities. There were only 6 people on the boat. We got to see the sunset and moonrise at the same time. We highly recommend this tour.
Eduardo and crew were great. It was the best boating experience we have had while traveling in Europe - we have done many. They gave us nice wine, cheese and crackers as we sailed the Tigris River. Sunset was beautiful. Very romantic.
Incredibly nice and accommodating. Loved the tour and the experience overall. Lots of laughs. Highly recommend!
New meeting point not easy to find ! Depending on where you sit on the boat you will either have full attention of Eduardo & Carlotta or not. The boat and sunset were fantastic. 2 x glasses of wine only and a small meat and cheese board served after an hour on the boat.
Loved the boat, the hosts and the sunset! So glad they provided blankets for the cool evening breeze. Recommend!
It was lovely. The adorable couple who ran the boat were so kind and knowledgeable. The old boat was cool. I even got a tour! Saw many things from the water I would of not seen by land. The snacks were yummy as was the wine. I would definitely do it again!
The day was perfect without a cloud in the sky. I am a solo traveler and love these types of things. It was easy to find the meeting point and communicate with everyone. A nice two hour cruise with views of the bridge and Santuário de Cristo Rei. Would highly recommend booking with a group or solo. There is plenty of space on board
Great experience on our last evening in Lisbon. The crew was great, we had great vine and snacks and enjoyed the evening with a small group.
Fabulous trip. Lovely hosts and very relaxing, informative and very special. We had a few drinks and some nice food and blankets were provided when it got chilly at the end.
The boat was nice, we had great weather and the sunset was delightful. What I missed was more of a tour-guide component from the operators. The various sites were pointed out as we sailed past but this was perfunctory. Given the extensive list in the advertisement, I thought that there would be more description and information about Lisbon and Portugal. We were a small group of 8 and everyone was nice. Part of our trip was under sail as well as engine. They wine and charcuterie were the expected fare. The departure location was changed twice and this was communicated but it presented a challenge for us to figure out alternative parking. We ended up just walking an extra 40 minutes along the river because it was easiest. There was a parking lot under the bridge where we could have parked for Eur 4 at that time of day - it was nearly empty and it would have been a 5 minute walk. If you want a quiet sunset, this is your trip.
Fantastic experience: Great tour guides/skipper, good wine and food and a wonderful sailing tour. We can totally recommend booking the tour
This was a super fun trip! We sailed around the bay, had some champagne and snacks, saw Lisbon from a new perspective. Got some great pictures. The tour operators were great! Friendly and courteous and even waited for us to arrive from our previous tour. Very grateful to them for waiting an extra 10 minutes. Great experience all around.
Felt like a really personal experience, our hosts made us feel so welcome and the boat was really pretty. Sunset was a lovely way to experience Lisbon. It was such a beautiful boat that it could only have been better if we had the engine off and the sails up. We'd go again with them for sure if we find ourselves in Lisbon again.
This was an unbelievable experience. We enjoyed every bit of the experience. If you are looking for a relaxing and intimate experience I highly recommend booking this for your trip to Lisbon
A wonderful couple of hours seeing the sights of Lisbon and then witnessing a great sunset. The vintage sailing boat was only equipped for a small tour group which is just what we wanted. We were well looked after by the skipper and his assistant with plenty of information, tapas and wine.
Fantastic. Although it was a cool, windy evening, the crew were friendly and made it an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended
This was a great experience. There was a small number of other guests onboard, which made it very comfortable. The crew and guide were amazing. Drinks and a cheese board were served.
We had a marvelous experience. It was a chilly evening but that did not diminish the joy of being on the water. Our captain and assistant were terrific. They were informative, charming, professional and filled with interesting stories. We highly recommend this tour.
