Lisbon: Sintra, Regaleira, Pena, Cabo Roca All Tickets Included

This trip was amazing. Our guide Maria (young lady) was amazing, passionate about the history and entertaining.. The time was well managed allowing part of the tour guided and time to explore on your own. We did so much and I never felt rushed. I purchased the package with all the tickets and it was well worth it, no waiting in lines, we walked right up and got in the parks.

Gonzalo was a great tour guide! Friendly, very knowledgeable. He wanted to make sure you got the most of your experience by giving some of the history behind things.

Mikael was an incredible tour guide providing a wealth of information. Diego was an excellent driver. This was a wonderful experience.

Enjoyed the day and the area is beautiful l with lots of free time to explore, but thought the tickets were a bit on the expensive side for what was included as untimely besides a short tour it is just the travel cost between areas.

Full day tour to Sintra and its castles. Guierrmo, our tour guide provided great commentary regarding all the sights we saw, recommendations for shopping and restaurants in town. He was very personable and funny. Be prepared for walking up and down hills and stairs. Great tour, do not miss.

Maira is an excellent guide. She is knowledgeable, patient, well spoken, caring and has a great sense of humor! She was always making sure we were safe. You could see how she was glancing and checking on us at all times. She is amazing! We would definitely recommend her to friends, family, and go with her to another day trip.

Cat was terrific. 10 hour day and she did not lose her energy. She was so informative and kind and kept 45 people ON TIME! We really enjoyed our day visiting Sintra.

Mikael was an amazing guide!! He had a great combination of information, history and kindness. He is actually from Sintra so that made it even more special! He explained everything well, we had free time/options at every stop. The tour was well run and you never felt rushed at any point. I would highly recommend this tour/company and Mikel!!! To add communication was fabulous before tour, meeting place was easy!!

Well, Lisbon is a nice city to visit for 3–4 days. One of my biggest disappointments was the parking situation. I usually like to rent a car so I can explore the surrounding areas on my own, but in Lisbon, you have to pay for parking on almost every street, even at night in some areas. Because of that, I decided to cancel my rental car, even though I had to pay a cancellation fee. On the bright side, public transportation is excellent, and the people are very friendly and helpful.

The check-in process was smooth, and the guide provided good information during the trip. However, there were several areas where the experience could have been improved. The guide should have provided better oversight when walking the group to the bus. The group became split when some participants were unable to make it through a traffic light in time, which created unnecessary confusion. It was also disappointing that there appeared to be no consideration or planning for restroom breaks throughout most of the tour. The topic was not addressed until the final stop, which made for an uncomfortable experience for some guests. The sound system on the bus was difficult to hear due to microphone volume issues, causing many of us to miss portions of the guide’s commentary. Several members of our group had taken the same tour in 2024 and were disappointed by how much of the castle portion was excluded this year. We also learned that the guide was not permitted to enter the castle, which limited the experience further. The trip started out very well but gradually lost momentum as the day went on. Our group of 15 still had a good time overall, but the experience could have been significantly improved by taking guest comfort and expectations into greater consideration.

Do not book with this company. First, there are two parks with statues at Rossio Station. They don’t tell you that. We waited on the north end of the wrong section for 30 minutes, our mistake. When we first called them to find out where the driver was we were told we have the wrong number. The second time we called, we were told the same thing but this time given a good phone number. When we called, the provider text the driver who was already too far out. Things happen. We asked to change our date to the following day and were refused as “all changes need to be made 24 hours in advance”. Not helpful. We asked for a refund and were told to go through Viator (where the decision was ultimately given to the tour company and refused the following day). We paid over $200 for a tour, so we decided we would take the train to Sintra and meet up with the group and at least salvage the tickets we paid for. They would not respond on whats app or through the messaging service on Viator, though they had previously contacted us (the same day) on both platforms. We ended up having an incredible day on our own, though we had to buy tickets to each location, again. The fact that they would not accommodate our efforts and then refused any portion of the refund is absurd. Yes, there was miscommunication in the location (be careful!) but we made every effort to reach out to them and salvage part of our cost. Terrible customer service. Take the train, buy your own tickets and make your own adventure… cheaper and definitely better than this headache.

A great experience. The castle was wonderfull. Our guide, Domingos, was amazing! He had a lot of insight information that he shared. The walk to the castle was a little demanding.

Fun and interesting. A lot of uphill walking, but doable if you’re in reasonable physical condition.

Great experience. Tour operator was very well organized. From check in to ensuring everyone knew where and what time to meet up at different locations. All guides always ensured we knew what was happening. Bruno was a great guide! Gave us information about the places we were visiting and good recommendations to explore and try out local food.

This tour is excellent. Domingo did a great job and was very friendly, helpful, and informative. The sites were beautiful and worth the trip! I would recommend letting clients know there will be a lot of climbing and walking. Altogether it was 14km. This was fine for me, but could be an issue for others who book the tour.

We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Antonella was energetic, full of knowledge and very patient. The day was long and packed with things to see, but it never felt rushed. Also big shout out to the guide of the Spanish group Miguel who was also nice. And our driver (sorry forgot your name) who has really impressive driving skills.

This was a great tour on a very tight schedule. A lot of walking. A lot of uphill walking. Guide very knowledgeable and campus on schedule, liike a race horse.

I must be getting too old to book these excursions I booked in the evening after hours so I am grateful it was accepted but somehow a tour that clearly stated “tickets included” in the name of the tour itself-had options that I inadvertently must have clicked on -ended up did not have tickets to enter the venues - also I ended up with an Italian guide which I am positive that I would not have chosen.. but here we are an 8 hour tour in a language we didn’t understand - but alas all was saved - Martha our guide was fluent in 6 languages and so sweet to give us the history and engaged us in -trip was saved and we had fun regardless !

The pick up location in Viator was different from actual pick up location. We ended up waiting there and not attending tour and were charged for this. Company did not acknowledge or refund for their mistake.

This was an amazing tour. Our tour Guide Bruno was excellent and very knowledgeable. The tour was top tier, seeing 3 separate areas, Sintra, pena palace and Cabo de Roca. Note: There is a good amt of elevation climbing and stairs for anyone who has mobility issues. The tour was approximately 10.5hrs from pickup to drop-off. So be prepared. However you do get 2.5 hrs of free time in Sintra for lunch.

Bruno was a wonderful tour guide! He’s very knowledgeable & guided us through the different venues we saw. He also gave us suggestions on how to maneuver the places he couldn’t go with us. We had a great time & even had a wonderful lunch at a place Bruno recommended. Delicious Portuguese steak dish! Thanks to Bruno for making out first day in Lisbon very memorable!

Fabulous trip, incredible history and views!! Be ready for some moderate elevation climbs at a relatively quick pace!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip. Edwarda was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgable and informative with plenty of information throughout the day and some great tips for during the stops at the different locations. Very comfortable tour bus and not too big a group. We had thought of visiting Sintra ourselves but are so glad we chose to do this tour instead as all of the hassle and logistics were taken out of our hands and we could relax and enjoy the various sites, some of which we wouldn’t have known about on our own.

Our guide Edwarda was excellent! And our driver handled to tight roads and switchback turns with impressive ease. They made an impressive team and I was very grateful for their professionalism and expertise. My only issue was that the Lisbon marathon was on, which impacted access to the coast, I feel your company should have know about that and told your staff. They did not know about it and I feel that was your failing not theirs.

It’s a very long day and the weather changes drastically and quickly so bring layers of clothes and a rain poncho. You will enjoy great history and beautiful views.

Pedro was an excellent guide, giving information about the day's schedule and letting us know what to expect, which made the day go smoothly. He gave us interesting details about what we were seeing. The day got a bit long, and I feel the last stop to see the farthest westernmost point of Europe could have been eliminated.

This was an amazing experience. Francisco was our guide and we had an amazing time listening to facts/history, seeing the sights, and hearing his jokes. The bus was well kept. The driver drove extremely safe as well. There was plenty of time to grab lunch on our own and try out different pastry shops as well as be with the group. Would recommend for anyone. (The hills weren’t that bad).

Learn about the genius behind the construction of the Quinta da Regaleira. Just fascinating. Pena palace was also worth visiting!

This experience was definitely worth it, and it was great to have transportation included. Sintra is absolutely stunning! Bruno did an excellent job of explaining the history of everything! He has an art history background so he was extremely knowledgable.

Antonella was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! She was enthusiastic, engaging, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. A true gem who made this experience one of a kind. This tour was definitely worth the money—I couldn’t have imagined being as efficient or seeing all that we did had I attempted this itinerary on my own. Being separated into smaller groups was absolutely essential and a great move. While the day was long, it was worth every minute and I’m so grateful I was able to take this trip. Lastly, thank you Sergio for your skilled, safe driving. As someone who gets car sick, I felt so comfortable and at ease.
