Awesome day traveling the coast just outside Lisbon. Loved touring in the VW van. Antonio did a great job taking us to the sights & giving us plenty of time at each stop.

Itinerary
2 hours of free time planned in Cascais. A former fishing town, it was transformed by the Portuguese nobility into a summer resort with its sumptuous villas and extravagant places. Cascais is a very charming little town where you can enjoy pretty beaches, parks and lively little streets.
La Casa da Guia is currently a reference in the municipality of Cascais and has become a real meeting point with family or friends, thanks to a unique and different concept of commerce, culture and leisure. At the exit of Cascais, on the road to Guincho, Casa da Guia is located in a 19th century mansion, totally rehabilitated by the architect Cláudio Wanderley, surrounded by two hectares of gardens perched on the cliff, extending to at the Lighthouse of Guia and dominating the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean. Inside, we discover an innovative commercial concept with various shops and an art gallery. Outside, there is an excellent area for restaurants, commerce, culture and leisure, where restaurants, terraces and an amphitheater are perfect viewpoints from which to enjoy a magnificent view of the sea.
Cabo da Roca is a wild cape that lies at the westernmost point of continental Europe. This place made up of cliffs hammered by the winds and arid lands was once (until the 14th century) considered the end of the world. It is the ideal place for people who appreciate nature, with on one side the expanse of water that seems infinite and on the other the mountains of the Sintra-Cascais natural park.
This "mouth of hell" is a chasm that has amazed and terrified visitors since the earliest times. The ocean, by dint of often violent comings and goings, has dug the rock, forming a "jaw of stone" in which an infernal soup bubbles.
Magnificent beach set in the spectacular landscape of the Serra de Sintra hills. Always exposed to strong winds, it is famous for its huge waves, summer and winter alike. It is therefore a paradise for experienced surfers. At the southern end of the beach is the yellow-painted fort of Fortaleza do Guincho, which has been transformed into a 5* hotel with its outdoor swimming pool built around an old fort.
The return trip by the coast takes about 1h30

Awesome!!!! I loved it was so personal. They were friendly, knowledgable. Highly recommend this tour!
This was the best part of our trip to Portugal. This day didn’t feel like you were on a tour. It was more like riding around with family and friends, singing great music and catching all the cool sights along the way. Also, we had the best meal of our entire trip for lunch at Azenhas do Mar. We are forever grateful to Laura and Christiano for helping us create a lasting memory for our family.
What a wonderful experience we had with this tour and although we did not get a chance to visit Sintra and the other Castles because of unforeseen circumstances, we did get a chance to go other sites that we would otherwise not have been able to. My hats off to Christiano for this unforgettable trip to the coastline and the city of Cascais, he took his time to explain in detail all the places we visited. He also recommended local restaurants for us while in Lisbon and his wife Laura kept in touch with me even before we got here to make sure everything was fine. Once again thanks for the beautiful memories and i will be sure to recommend this trip to anyone visiting this beautiful place that is Lisbon. Carlos and Adriana
Fun day with lovely and knowledgeable guide and driver. The VW bus is super cool! When we moved quickly through regular stops being fast-paced New Yorkers they offered to add another location to visit.
Cristiano was an amazing guide for the day! He was on time, very polite and a friend to talk with and ask questions all day. He provided the schedule for the day and asked if we wanted any modifications. This is the perfect tour to visit the coastal towns and sites near Lisbon. At each stop he provided us with history about the stop and allowed time to explore, take pictures and enjoy each experience. Our lunch stop came with an amazing ocean view and the food was outstanding (order the grilled octopus). Make sure you ask him about the history of the van as it has a very fascinating story. He loves what he is doing, is very knowledgeable about Portugal and you will not be disappointed in your experience. We highly recommend this tour as we feel like we have a new friend in Portugal.
Everything was perfect from the pick up to the drop off. Laura and Christian were AMAZING. Super knowledgable, friendly and we enjoyed their fabulous VW van. I highly recommend this trip for anyone, all ages. The van was very comfortable and it gets so much attention on the road. I loved that it was a private tour. Thank you both for a fantastic day!
Cristiano & Laura are the most fantastic guides - we had the best day out in their beautiful VW Kombi. Communication was excellent, the van has been lovingly restored and is really spacious and comfortable. We learned and saw things we never knew about, even after multiple self guided trips to Lisbon and surrounds. We’ll definitely be booking another tour next time we’re in this beautiful part of the world.
Superb experience in this super cute van. Christiano and Laura are really great, very attentive and very friendly, we really had a great time. We had a great day, discovering places we would never have known without them. We highly recommend! Cynthia and Erick
An unforgettable family day on the road with this iconic van. Many thanks to Christiano and Laura for their professionalism, their kindness and good humor.
We were picked up on time at the hotel in this fully restored bus and drove comfortably along small roads to Sintra. Our two supervisors told us a lot about the city and Sintra. From Sintra we went to the coast to a fantastic fish restaurant with a great view. Then along the coast to the westernmost point of Europe, then to a hellish gorge and finally back to Lisbon via the coastal road. The trip in the old bus is great fun, people often speak to you and wave at you. We can only recommend the trip!
An original vehicle, a meeting with beautiful people who are passionate about what they do. Listening to their customers, with an enriching ride. We had a great time with Laura and Cristiano. An unforgettable day. Obrigado
The trip with Laura and Christiano was very nice. This was the first tour with them and it was like meeting old friends again after a long time. They are very friendly and warm. We immediately felt at home and really enjoyed the private conversations we had together. Christiano and Laura create a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The destinations we visited are definitely worth the trip, so I don't want to waste too much time on them. The trip itself was private and individual, and the comfortable benches in the beautifully restored bus make even longer trips possible. Christiano is a reliable and safe driver who knows the often very narrow streets inside out. He was very polite and caring and always looked after us. We were also always given the opportunity to stop at beautiful places and take photos. The two of them reserved a restaurant for us with a breathtaking view. All in all, it was a successful and unforgettable trip that we would recommend to anyone.
Punctuality, availability, and concerned about our comfort, very warm welcome. A discovery of Cascais aboard a magnificent Combi. Breathtaking landscapes. A moment full of exchanges with Laura and Christiano Thank you for this very pleasant moment! Jeremy
I recommend 100% We had a great day. It’s very nice to be guided so that you just have to enjoy the visit. Christiano and Laura are charming and very professional. Thank you 🙏
