Worst experience. If you get off the bus be prepared to not be picked back up for hours!!!! Happened two consecutive days. Waited 1.5 hours and no bus available. Had to uber back to city center.

We love getting on the water in every city we go to. This is a fun way to get around. Nice smooth boat ride with a few stops.
Do not book this if you plan on going in Sunday. The hop on hop off feature does not happen on Sunday and you waste your money.
Well organized comfortable trip, viewing Lisbon from the water. However, it was difficult listening to the commentary so we didn’t learn much but overall we enjoyed the landscape.
Great way to see Lisboa. Smooth and beautiful boat ride with excellent views of Lisbon. A must do there!
We took the boat tour and got off at Belem at 3:30 pm for a bite to eat after being told we could hop on again at 5:30 pm. After waiting for 15 minutes at 5:30 and with no boat in sight, we wandered into the ferry office and were told the 5:30 boat would not be coming. The fellow who worked for the ferry company and not yellow bus tours had no information for us only that there would be no more yellow boats that day. Pretty shabby service stranding your customers!! Won’t ever use this company again.
This was the best tour of all the tours we took. We took the tiger in the evening, the last ride of the tour. And we could see the breathtaking sunset as well.
Music onboard way to loud - and commentary way to basic - and out of sync with monuments/sights. Also not really a hop on off experience as time between boats is 4 hours
24 hour ticket. Wonderful views. Easy on-off. Saw Lisbon in a day light on our way to Belem, and in a sunset light on our way back. Magnificent sights. Extra bonus multiple rides on funicular and Santa Justa elevator. I would recommend it to anyone.
Lovely relaxed trip in brilliant sunshine. Very informative on all the sights. Lisbon was built to be viewed from the sea!
The crew was very warm, supportive and friendly. The journey was smooth inspite of the continuous drizzle both ways.
The boat trip from Lisbon to Belem on Saturday was nice enough but the reason we picked a hop on, hop off was so we could spend time in Belem and come back to Lisbon later. When we disembarked at Belem nobody bothered to tell us that the next - and last of the day - boat had been cancelled. So, when we were ready to return we stood around for ages wondering why it was late, only to find out from someone who didn’t even work for the company that they’d cancelled it, We then had to pay for a taxi to bring us back to Lisbon. As there we’re 3 of us I paid €66 for what was basically a one-way boat ride to Belem, and had the expense of a taxi home afterwards. I’ve emailed the company to ask for a partial refund and had zero response so far. Pretty shocking customer service. If you’re thinking of doing this trip, make sure you double check that the boat you want to return on is actually running.
Nice and relax way to go visit Belem. Very professional and friendly staff. Recommended for half day Belem visit.
We had such a nice time leisurely boating with Lisbon Yellow Boat. We launched on time and took a round trip of the harbor which lasted almost two hours. The staff and servers were great and the views of Lisbon from the boat were excellent. Also, the cost of the tour per-person was VERY reasonably. I highly recommend, especially if you have kids. Great way to spend quality time together.
Very good for viewing main attraction along the river. Take in some lovely sights. Passengers can leave the boat to view attractions.
Shorter than expected and quite boring to be honest. I really expected more. At least a little bit of history sharing from the guide or something. It was nothing more than a public transport ferry
It was an okay experience. The reason for only 3 stars is because after purchasing on line tickets the day before and showing up to get in line (in the heat) for 20+ minutes ahead of the 11am ride the boat tour ran a bit late because we had to wait for a tour group who had purchased the Yellow Boat Tour as part of a Belem day. The tour group were allowed to board immediately and promptly took up all the prime viewing seats on the top of the boat. This seemed very unfair for the rest of us who had purchased tickets ahead of time for the Boat Tour only. Non of this was made clear on the website when we purchased full price tickets. I would not recommend joining the Yellow Boat tour unless you do it as part of a package to receive priority boarding…..:/
Nice views. Boat was not very clean and the sound system was horrible. They also need a shady place to wait for the boat
Sorry but I didn't go. My flight was delayed arrival. So I didn't go as I will have to be late to my next flight. Can I use this on June 15 on my layover again back to USA?
Bit of delay getting started but crew all cheerful and polite. Good bar service on board excellent commentary. Slightly soporific music on return journey....or was that the drink on the way out!
We actually really enjoyed this boat trip. We didn’t book the yellow bus tour, choosing to only do the boat. It was a busy trip but we were lucky to get a seat on the top deck. It was a nice ride along the river getting a good view of the Christo Rei statue then along to Belem. I do think the views of the Belem Tower were best from the water. Although the boat stopped here we chose to stay on and complete the trip back to Lisbon. Lisbon from the water is also a beautiful sight. The bar on the boat was open and serving drinks and snack. Only negative was we couldn’t quite hear the commentary but otherwise a lovely way to spend some time.
We just did a full trip on the boat. Nice and relaxing. Shop on board had wine, beer and soft drinks. Very chilled and no stress
Excellent way to see the beautiful city of Lisbon from the river and Belem area, nice and relaxed atmosphere with lots of photo opportunities on route, I'd recommend we really enjoyed it
It was great to travel right under the Ponte 25 de Abril and to get nearer to see the Christi Rei. The boat gave us the opportunity to see and appreciate Lisbon from a different angle, which was great!
We went to the wrong bus stop (red buses) and had quite a hike to get to a yellow bus stop, but that was on us. The hop-on/hop-off is what you would expect. You get a crappy but functional set of headphones to listen to highlights of what you are driving by. For Lisbon it was mostly background music, with only descriptions of the major attractions.
We had a great time, in fact I think it was the best tour I had with the yellowbus company.. it took about 2 hours to go and for Lisbon main harbor point. You may combine this with the hop-on hop-off bus tour as well, getting off/on at the Belem Tower stop. There was a open top deck and ground deck with a place to sit and have your meal. And the view was stunning of the Tagus river and the 25th April bridge from the boat.
Don’t bother booking the buses or the boat! Purchased a two day ticket, told the guy selling the tickets that we’d take the boat trip the following day, he did not tell us that there are no Thursday boat trips! Waste of money! The woman at the boat terminal (yellow bus rep) was just rude. The Belem bus was ok, you could do the journey by normal bus but the Modern Lisbon bus was awful, who on earth thought derelict dockyards and then apartment buildings was a tourist tour. Today, we had dreadful weather, the rep only started selling tickets when the bus arrived, despite standing in the bus shelter with the customers, we stood in torrential rain as she fumbled about with wet tickets, then driver wouldn’t open the doors! Do something else but this.
Do not buy anything from this company. i bought the cruise ticket in the morning for afternoon on same day. Came find out there is no afternoon tour from the local boat operator. Tried to ask for refund since 5 of us didnt take the cruise. it has been 4 days, numerous emails and hassle, nothing about apologizing or refund. DO not buy anything from them.
Centrally located and good experience all round. Good commentary and plenty of room on board. Tickets are valid for a full 24 hours!
The trips were punctual, the audio tour guide was very good explaining the sightseeing's. I enjoyed the trip very much
It was quite a disappointment that the boat didn’t stop at the other side of the river, in Cacilhas, as this was in the description we had received when booking. So we had to change the program of the day. We were told that the boat did have a stop there but only during the pandemic and now not anymore. Other than that it was a nice ride to Belém.
A beautiful way to see the city scape while relaxing onboard. Then to take the tram back to the city was fantastic.
Firstly, finding the ticket booth was a nightmare, there were no clear directions, just an address, visitors have no clue where to start. Then you find a booth they send you to another, with no clear directions, just pure chaos. They had interpreters in several languages which was good, but you could hardly hear so taking the photos while we sail was the best part of this trip. Not a good experience
We never got to go on the cruise as the boat broke down just before it was due to start. We were told to come back a few hours later for the next cruise but the boat was still not working. I am surprised that they only have 1 boat operating and now we are waiting for our full refund
This is a tacky experience which is a bit of a swizzle. All the more disappointing as it claims to be run by a group company of Tripadvisor. Before you book, the trip is advertised as “2 hours (approximately)”. Once you have paid, the ticket shows the trip as “Duration 1h45m”. And then having cast off at 12:15, we returned to the start point at 13:30, after a whole 1 hour and 15 minutes. Although there is a bar on board, it was locked up and you need to bring your own drinks as well as any snacks that you might want over the lunch period. If you are in the know, when you dock at Belem, you can rush off the boat to buy some peanuts at a kiosk; but only if you’re in the know. It’s called a hop-on-hop-off tour, but they only stop at Belem and if the boat is full on the next voyage, we’ll you just can’t hop back on! There will be better cruises available, this is certainly one to be avoided.
Great experience but not very well signposted, for visitors,. Also although you get a cruse around the monuments and castles there is only 1 stop . Because we went during a rainy spell we did not leave the boat and returned to Lisbon. Overall it was good, probably better in the sun . A suggestion to the company. Perhaps a night time cruise during sunset or later to see the sights lit up.
Nice relaxing way to see the city from the river. Worth doing. Lovely cool breeze off the sea. Only negative was unnecessary loud and repetitive background music between information.
Nice but the departure point in the confirmation details I have received was wrong. Not a good start!
We bought a combi ticket for boat, tram and airport bus. During the boat tour we lost the tickets and informed immediately the staff. The guy told us not to worry and that they would give us a solution when we would arrive back. Their offer was to buy new tickets with 25% discount which is ridiculous. Company’s policy they said...absolutely worst service!
Absolute garbage which is why they are paying hotel concierges to recommend. Less than a third of the buses at double the cost. We bought a two day ticket so that the second day we could go to the Oceanarium. We were told the first bus would t be there for 2 hours since only one bus was on the purple line! Insane. Doc red buses passed in the first hour. Don’t get ripped off, this is a total scam.
Great cruise on the river with the yellow boat ,you will see all the bridges in Lisbon and many monuments like Tower of Belem . Low price , nice cruise. Enjoy !!!
Booked on Viator for 10.30 am with options of 10 and 10:30 departures.Reading reviews realized that only departs at 10 and sure enough loaded and left. At 10.10. Trip was fine, lovely sunny day to appreciate Lisbon from the water
The boat ride was really relaxing. You can Hop-On Hop-Off at any stop and continue your journey within the ticket validation which is really nice. Its a full package to see, explore and know Lisbon from a different perspective, just chill on the deck of the boat, capture lots of breath-taking views for memories. Enjoy!!
The Hop-On Hop Off Yellow Bus Tour was confusing to me. The narration should tell the number of the stop corresponding to the maps given. Boat part was fine but found I wanted to see somethings and because no one was waiting at the stop and no one got off, the driver would just skip it. Part of the time I missed sites I wanted to visit. They really to say the number before each narration.
The ride provides a great view of the city and a nice way to get to Belém The day I went the weather was perfect I did return on the number 15 tram to avoid waiting for the boat
Great views of the city and the opposite side.Four stops in total, 2 in Belém. Photo opportunities for tower and monument to discoveries from the sea. Regular boat service so time to explore and return at leisure. I used the cruise to travel to and from Belém spending many hours there. Recommend this trip. Hx
A very relaxing way to spend an hour seeing Lisbon from a different perspective. The main attractions are covered and the commentary is in 4 different languages. You can choose the stops to get off at and explore. I had twisted my ankle earlier so I needed to sit through the trip which was perfect for me.Your ticket also covers the yellow tram so that you can continue your adventure on land after you return to port.
The full price of the boat ticket was 20 euros, but we paid less than 12 euros per ticket through TripAdvisor. The boat trip was OK, but as they only have one boat, the pick ups weren't very frequent: 2 - 3 hours between each one. We were given the wrong time for the first pick up - it said 10.30 on the paperwork but the boat left at 10.00. Luckily we were there early. However, the views across the river were truly beautiful and it was well worth the fare paid.
Is a must for a sightseeing in Lisbon! Highly recommended. Cheapest to book online and all the staff are friendly and helpful
Through TripAdvisor I received a 5€/person discount as compared to buying at the dock. The value was excellent. I assume it is early in the season, so the boat only returned every 3 hours instead of 1.5. After a light lunch and nap at the Tower of Belém park, we still had over an hour to wait so decided to walk to the train station to get back into the city.
