We had great fun biking in Lisbon through the city and along the waterfront. I learned so much about Lisbon, including its history, culture, people and contemporary life while enjoying time outdoors in the sunshine along the waterfront. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, whether experienced or an infrequent cycler. The bikes were good, and our tour leader expertly led us through the streets of Lisbon and cycling paths.

John ( not sure how to pronounce or spell John in Portuguese could Joao) was very welcoming friendly knowledgeable about all the interesting places and monuments we visited. He made sure the bikes fitted properly and we were happy with them.
Great casual bike tour along the Lisbon waterfront to Belem. Our host John was very informative about the history of the area and we ended up using the bikes for the rest of the day to explore more
Great guide. Super informative, great communicator, kept the group engaged. It was cool that we got to keep ourbikes for the full day, to check out the museum and the beach.
John was a great guide! He gave a lot of history as we rode and stopped at the attractions. I loved the ride. I feel like we covered a lot of sights in a short period of time. I definitely recommend this tour.
Excellent experience. Guide very knowledgeable on history and brings you to key spots while explaining historical sights
Our guide, John (Joaon?) was so friendly and knowledgeable about Lisbon & Portuguese history. He was patient and explained it all to our kids. As a bike tour, we felt safe with our two kids riding with John leading. Overall a great way to explore the city and learn about its history.
The bikes were in excellent condition, comfortable, and easy to ride. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, unique, and immersive way to explore
Great place, friendly staff, good bikes, easy to find, nice bike rides to Belém and Forrest of Monsanto. Muito obrigado.
We actually just rented the bikes here but it was super easy and they are very friendly & helpful- he explained everything to us and showed us how the bikes work too… I rode a regular bike and my friend rode an e-bike for the first time… I would definitely recommend Bikeiberia and hope to be back again soon!!
I would definitely recommend this waterfront bike tour. The guides Kai & Zee were really helpful, full of lots of interesting facts & took us on a very flat, manageable tour of the waterfront, to some places our guide books hadn't mentioned whilst giving us a fascinating history lesson about Lisbon along the way. We got to end the tour enjoying the famous, extremely delicious, freshly baked Pasteis de Belem in a local park. It couldn't have been more perfect! We were even allowed to keep the bikes till the end of the day so we could keep on exploring at our own pace. We are already planning our next Portugal trip & looking forward to an E-Bike self tour with a GPS route, out of the city. Thanks BikeIberia & especially to our two lovely, friendly guides. Can't thank you enough for a great experience and fun memories!

It is a wonderful way to reach Belem and get to know this amazing waterfront and part of the City. Excellent service and genuine kindness from the crew.
The Iberia cycling shop is a godsend. Myself and my girlfriend rented two bikes and cycled all along the coastal cycling path to Belem and back. It was our favourite part of the entire holiday. We stopped off at the QUAKE museum for a great history of the burning of Lisbon, and then on the way back we stopped off at the restaurants by the dock. A tremendous day that we won’t forget for quite some time. Thanks again to the staff at the Iberia shop. Very helpful and accommodating. 💪🏻 Kevin
My friends and I loved this bike tour of Lisbon’s waterfront areas. Our guides, Kai, Ze and Tanya were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and extremely helpful. The pace was comfortable with frequent stops along the way to see landmarks and hear of their history and significance. This being our first full day in Lisbon, the tour turned out to be an excellent way to get a feel for the city and it’s rich history and to also get a bit of exercise after our overseas flight. I would highly recommend this company and tour.
Waterfront - Torre de Belem, ...nice to go safely through the bike route and interesting see the houses , museum...
The bikes were well maintained. The stuff was behaving professionally. The only inconvenience is they close too much early for a touristic area.
Nice and friendly staff!Easy access to the bike route from their location. Great JOB! Best Bike tour in Lisbon
Solid selection of bikes, great rates and even better service! The staff know what they're talking about, offer suggestions for interesting routes and care about their customers!
Fabio was a fantastic guide, taking us at an appropriate pace for our age and infirmities! He was very knowledgeable and provided an opportunity to see things which are not on the usual tourist sightseeing list. We also got a famous custard tart!
Nice and friendly people at Bikeiberia, good service and great bikes. Easy access to the bike routes from their location.
we arrived on a cruise and rented the bikes with great ease. They spoke very good english and had bikes for the children aged 5 and 8. Its a great way to see the city and would recommend it to anyone.
My husband and I loved our bike ride to explore the Lisbon waterfront. Joana was so helpful in setting us up on our bikes and suggesting where to explore. The bikes were comfortable and it was an incredible experience. I highly recommend this!
Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, bikes worked well, sites to see were great. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to do a bike tour.
The bike tour was great. It was along the river and mostly flat the entire way, except for when we had to make a steep incline on an overpass to get across the street and back again. The guide was very fun and knowledgeable, and we learned a lot about Portugal on this tour. It was about 4 hours total and we made several stops, including Pastais de Belem. I can’t remember how many stops we made, but it was more than 10, so we were not on bikes very long before getting off to see a sight. The only difficult part was crossing the street on the overpass. I highly recommend this bike tour!!
We had such fun renting bikes from Bikeiberia! We toured the waterfront and then inland into the city as well. The staff was very helpful in giving suggestions for routes for the day and suggested stops. They provided a bike lock and bikes in good working order. I would highly recommend renting bikes for the day when in Lisbon as you can see so much in a short amount of time. Thank you for the great experience.
My wife and myself did this tour shortly after we arrived in Lisbon. With André as our guide we spend a wonderful time with him on the bikes while enjoying the waterfront with it's attractions. This is an excellent way to get a feeling for Lisbon in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I can highly recommend this tour. Part of the package is that one can use the bikes for the rest of the day free of charge. We made use of it to great effect.
Good fun seeing Lisbon differently. Bikes were good and sturdy. Guide Eric was very aware of some lack of biking experience and always made sure everyone was OK. He gave us good informative talks at a number of venues. We really enjoyed our experience and would recommend if for no other reason than to have the best "Pastel de nata" ever at Belem. booking in was very easy with friendly helpful staff. good fun for four hours, highly recommend, even for less experienced bikers.
Just returned from our cycle trip along the Tagus River to Belem for a traditional custard tart on a Giant bike complete with a 4 kg lock, hired to us by a entertaining and efficient young lady with a great sense of humor. As far as the hire company and service were concerned, these were first rate and to be highly recommended. Now I know I have been out for dinner and had some wine but these remarks are genuine and the Bikeiberia Lisbon deservedly receive our thanks for a memorable trip.
My partner and I did this tour on our first day. The bikes were of a good standard and the staff was sure to look after our health and safety. The tour was informative and the guides fun and a pleasure to be with.

A nice and different way to appreciate Lisbon. Personally I am glad we had a guide, since I might have gone astray a couple of times enroute to Belem. He was informative about different things than the normal tour, especially about the bridge. My co-touists help take very good care of me. I think such tours are a good alternative idea for seeing one of my favorite cities.

During our layover in Lisbon we decided to rent bikes in order to see as much as possible during short time. Bikeiberia office is located basically right next to the metro statition Cais do Sodre. So we rented budget city bikes for 4 hours and prefered to go just by ourselves . Price 10€/PAX is fair enough. The stuff were really nice and gave us good tips & hints. Unfortunately, the breaking rope on my girlfriend's bike cracked by accident - this happens from time to time (like flat tires)... Luckily this happened at the beginning so we returned back to the Bikeiberia office and within 2 mins we got another bike. Lisbon waterfront is quite suitable for bikes - we did almost 35 kilometers. Just beware of big crowds and always pay attention to your ride. All in all I would like to thank to Bikeiberia team for a nice time we had in Lisbon. Tomas
My husband and I spent a half day biking waterfront Lisbon , we saw so much , learned so much and had the pleasure of meeting a family from Canada. Our guide was Eduardo, who was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional, even buying us pastries at a famous pastry shop. He even timed our ride and stops to avoid the rain showers. We saw the Belem tower and the cathedral without paying any extra. All and all, a great tour!

This is a fun, informative tour which is easy to do. The tour guide was excellent and made the tour very interesting. It was thoroughly enjoyable. I recomend it as a great activity.

Lovely safe cycle along the river to the Belem tower. Delicious pastry provided. Knowledgeable guide but a very straightforward route and we could have hired the bikes and done it by ourselves.
Very pleasant way to spend a morning though.

I went with a large group of friends on a 3-4 hour bike ride along the Lisbon waterfront. Our guide Eduardo was very knowledgeable and considerate. The Belen pastries were an unexpected treat during the ride back.

This tour was amazing. You get a good view of Belim the seaside area. Additionally you taste the pastel de nata.

Our most enjoyable time in Lisbon was renting bikes from Bikeiberia. We had a wonderful cycle along Lisbon's flat waterfront trail. One can go for one hour or all day. The trail is extremely interesting, providing a glimpse into many aspects of the city - it passes old historic boathouses, new marinas, working parts of the harbours, as well as restaurants, and parks. It was a truly relaxing, and enjoyable experience that we recommend to everyone! J. Walton, Canada
The settlement was completely uncomplicated. Super friendly service. The bikes were great. We had chosen the more comfortable bikes. Was a good choice. No e-bikes are required for the tour to Belém. We got helmets, baskets and straps, also the drop-off was totally professionally organized. Thank you, with the bikes we had a great day with many beautiful experiences.
Definitely worthwhile and also very easy to do with normal bike without electric assistance!
Yeah, good! Family bike ride very nice and accessible all along the river. Staff smiling, nice and explains perfectly well.
The route is very nice with beautiful monuments within easy reach. The bike path is safe, the bike excellent and the view breathtaking.
Cool staff. The bikes have already lived well but work well. Pleasant walk. Even if the bike path is not always well indicated we always manage
Bikes in very good conditions; excellent service; very pleasant walk along the Tagus! Magnificent landscapes, shops, cafes. Highly recommended!
The four of us, 2 adults and 1x15 and 1x17 cycled a very nice surprising trip with Maja, who also had her birthday today! Fun facts and very enthusiastically delivered! Good tips even for the rest of our stay. We are fans of Maja!
I'll come the night before to book two bikes. We arrive they are rented there is only one. Having no choice, we leave for a rental of two classics. Finally we ask you for your cid.... What if you have an identity check during your walk???? No other possibility.... Yet we pay in advance. Crummy Service. We did 20 m..... we rented two electric bikes for 9.99 the day... 3 times expensive!!!!
Convenient location to go see the tower of Belem. Affordable price although a little high in my opinion compared to the bikes offered. E-bikes are not bad but not very comfortable. As for the standard bikes... A major revision should have been made. We came across a bike with a completely relaxed chain which resulted in us derailing 6 times in 2 hours. When we talked to the employees, one laughed at it and the other simply apologized without offering a commercial discount. Very disappointing when you know it's 20€ per 4 hours. Convenient but know that you will find better elsewhere. The Lonely Planet should review its recommendations.
Staying in Lisbon for a short break, on the advice of a friend we decided to take a bike ride on the city's newly renovated riverfront. We turned to BIKE IBERIA and were really very satisfied with their Service and support: from the very beginning. They immediately found a perfect bike for our 7-year-old son, with a nice safety helmet at no extra cost, for me and my husband two standard bikes fully functional and equipped. Upon returning they welcomed us with a care and kindness (keep it up, girls!) that can not go unnoticed: we would recommend it to everyone! Vote 10
Poor quality Welcoming by the boss. Lucky the employee was nice. They have a price tag for basic bikes but only have 3. So automatically you are directed to the most expensive. I had paid for the bike rental but it didn't fit me. I had to take a more expensive one and pay the difference immediately. Trust is on the table. Only cash not possible to pay by credit card and no bill!!!! I do not recommend this Enterprise.
Friendly Welcoming, prices remain reasonable, we were very well advised on the itinerary to follow. I recommend this bike rental.
