The tour started at 9:05 at which time we walked to the tram station and then waited for the tram till 9:51 AM. Apparently trams dont run on schedule. We walked down to do the boat ride and then had a 20 minute break. The boat ride was in a gray line boat, without any commentary and the boat itself was small and the ride turbulent, water came in and soaked our shoes! we then got off the boat and he pointed out a few things on the way to get the pastries. We did not see any attraction from inside and the one cathedral we did go inside, the guide did not accompany us. After the pastries we were told that the tour was over, it was 12:35 PM. Per the itinerary the tour should have lasted 4 1/2 hours. Enough said. Multiple people on the tour wondered about a refund.
This was our 1st time in Lisbon and we had such a great tour of history, city spaces, tram and boat!! Our guide was so kind and very knowledgeable, we learned so much!!! And we were able to have tarts in a beautiful park in Belém!!
From Portuguese pastries to the rich heritage of the city, our tour took us far and wide. The knowledge of our tour guide Ricardo was excellent and it made the experience even better. Highly recommend this tour!
Gui was a great guide, full of historical information and kept us aware of the significance of each area we visited. We started with a walking tour and then biked over to Belem for a quick taste of the local specialty pastry, warm and delicious! We completed the experience with a ferry ride back to the center of Lisbon. Overall a fantastic way to learn about Lisbon.
Great tour, Rui was both informative and personable. The tram was an interesting means of transportation that ended with beautiful views of the river. The boat ride to Belem was the highlight culninating in Belem. The tour ended at monastery and church where you are freely able to vidit at your own leisure. I did not want to pass up the opportunity to see Vasco de Gama tomb and the stained glass. Well worth it!
Rui is an excellent guide. He knows his history. He’s passion is addictive & he was able to provide a top notch tour even in the pouring rain!
Rui was an amazing tour guide. So knowledgeable and personal. I felt like we hit everything I wanted to see! Absolutely loved this experience.
We walked with Damian. Outstanding tour guide. Very knowledgeable. Very personable. Goes above and beyond. We would highly recommend him.
Roy was absolutely fantastic. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his city and its history. A very enjoyable and informative morning. We got a great tour of the city and enjoyed learning more about several historic sites. We had a mix of adults, elders and young children and everyone enjoyed it. It is a lot of walking so I would recommend hot, waterbottles, hats and comfortable shoes.
Olivier was so great at taking us to all the different popular parts of the city with his own little pieces of personal history. He did a great job taking his time but keeping a pace that was manageable for our 18 year old boys. We hit the hot spots and it was a great balance of walking and riding (tram and boat). He was loaded with recommendations. Each of the tour guides was very personable and we were grateful to have chosen this experience. You should definitely see this city on foot. The weather was a little cold so wear good walking shoes and bring something to keep warm on the boat if needed. Highly recommend!!
The ticket did not have the meeting point we texted the guide. I had to go to the world experience website and call the company who contacted the guide and we finally received the correct meeting point. The tour was supposed to take us to the Belém tower. The guide ended the tour in front of a pastry shop in Belém and told us to walk to Belém Tower a half mile away. Then he left. We started walking towards the tower and we were informed that the tower is closed for renovation. The only reason that I’m giving this a three star rating is that the guide was knowledgeable about the places on the tour Ang gave ahold overview.
We had mixed feelings about the experience, especially based the tour description. Rui was a ver good and knowledgeable guide. He admitted that he was assigned the tour 20 mins before the expected start time by the local tour operator. I suspect that happend when I called the contact number for meet point detail. "Moderate walking" - we did 5+ miles including the walk from the port. On an 80°F day, that became something of a chore for we 65+ folk. Street address markings are tough as many buildings at the meet point don't have numbers. Time was tight and lavatory breaks happened once. The description eludes to including a sweet treat & drink at the final destination -- to find this was at your own expense & time. Final drop off -- quite a few miles back to the cruise port at your expense and ability to make arrangement of taxi, Uber, bus. It felt like "thanks for coming, now get out".
Ricardo was an excellent guide: informative, knowledgeable and personable. Proficient communication. Nice little extras like seeing the Natas bakery operation and tasting. Great tour, great guide in a great city. Exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.
Very nice walk around the old part of town with a cable car ride to get to the top to f the hill and then walk down. Roy gave us great detail including some in depth details on the city’s and countries history. Very nice boat ride to take us to Belem Tower and the Monestary.
Walking for different areas raining but still very nice walking tour. Belen so beautiful , going back we took the train
We had a great experience on this tour! It was a really great way to see a lot of Lisbon including the iconic trams and a beautiful boat ride. Our guide Ricardo was very kind, knowledgeable about the city, and gave excellent recommendations for the rest of our trip.

Great tour, Jorge did a great job as tour guide, explained a lot of details about the city and I was traveling solo and he did a great job making me felt good in the team
Pedro was our guide, and he was amazing. He was incredibly nice and patiently explained the history of Lisbon to us. One of the highlights of the tour was seeing Lisbon from the boat as we traveled to Belém Tower. We highly recommend him to everyone we know who plans to visit Lisbon for a tour. Thank you, Pedro!
What a fantastic walking tour it was with Pedro. He is an amazing person, very friendly and kind and so knowledgeable. We have done many walking tours in europe and this is by far the best. Thanks a lot Pedro and WE lisboa. Highly highly recommended.
Our tour guide, Pedro was, fantastic. So knowledgeable and showed us a few extra things because they were relevant to the people in our group. We went down streets we would never had seen if we wouldn't have done the tour, and we had the added bonus of experiencing travel on the tram and a boat. The whole morning was interesting, fun. We would definitely recommend this tour.
We had a very pleasant tour with Francisco. We started with the famous tram. We got a detailed explanation about the history of Portugal/ Lisbon with the associated buildings. On the boat over the Tagus we saw the Ponte 25 de April bridge up close and got off in Belem. There we saw the Padrao dos Descobrimentos and Jeronimus - Monastery from the outside. We can recommend this tour to everyone. Everything was well organised. Francisco is a very nice person who knows a lot. Gave us a lot of piece of advice where we could eat, what we definitely had to see. Francisco thankx.
Excellent tour. Highly recommend & good value for money. Good mix of sights to see, walking, tram ride & boat trip to Belem & ending with a delicious pastry! Our guide Francisco was so knowledgeable and entertaining. We appreciated his passion for Lisbon & Portuguese culture & history. He gave lots of tips for great places to go, eat, visit. Thank you!
Good experience as a first-time visitor! Hui is very knowledgeable and knows many languages like Portuguese Spanish Italian and very good English!
Perfect tour for fist time visitors, time flies by when Pedro starts sharing his knowledge. Mixture of tram, walk, boat and again walk is great, strongly recommend!
The Tour was great highly recommended to get to know the city better, the explanation was clear and we could see from the city center to the tower of belem.
Very skilled, pleasant and knowledgeable guide. (Roy). Varied and great trip! Recommended! Should stop tour where it starts.
