Walter was very energetic. He had great stories and engaging with the group.

Chiara was an excellent guide, very laid back, friendly and knowledgeable. She had some excellent recommendations for lunch and provided a PDF full of extra information about getting around. Would thoroughly recommend 👌

Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable of Lisbon's history and current events, with many details of the sites in just the right amount of time. A very entertaining presenter, the tour was one of the more worthwhile events I did during my month long visit to Portugal. I will recommend this tour to friends and family visiting the city.

Ann Elisa was prompt, accommodating of our special needs and highly knowledgeable. She customized the tour to our special interests. My husband is a fine arts photographer and was looking sights of interest to photograph later. We especially appreciated her historical knowledge of the city and Fado music. We highly recommend this tour!!

If I could give Sara 10 stars, I would! She's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! This tour was the highlight of our trip to Lisbon, and we are SO grateful to have found it. Sara was funny, sweet, concerned for our well-being (I told her I had a bum hip), happy to make recommendations, and enthusiastic to tell us many interesting stories about her native country. She took us to one of the "Old Ladies of Alfama" where we purchased cherry wine (OMG, so good - get it in the chocolate cup!). A once-in-a-lifetime experience! We all loved it so much! She was a terrific tour guide who lit up our day!! We are already telling our friends to ask for Sara when they visit Portugal this Fall. I wish we could have spent more time with you, Sara! Anne was a great tour guide and very friendly and nice. Great way to see the city and she gave great tips for solo travellers or bigger groups, also sent us an email with the all her recommendations of restaurants and places to see which is a great perk to the tour. i have myself booked into two of her recommendations for food.

Ask for Kleiber! He was a fantastic tour guide - he knew the answer to every question we had and answered them in the most engaging and informative way. He knew so much about the city, was so friendly and so engaging. He told us stories and took us to places you'd never know or think about, but which really make Lisbon alive. He also has EXCELLENT restaurant recommendations - a provinciana being one! he just pointed down a street and said - everything here is good! And it was! Thank you Kleiber!

Kleiber was a great tour guide, very passionate and knowledgeable. He knows the info but also the heart of lisbon, its people, so it feels like walking around his neightborhood, saying hello to everybody. A real tour is not about the place, but about the experience. So i must say, this was a great one!

The three hour tour was just the right amount of time. Our starting point was right next to the metro and really convenient. Our guide was super knowledgeable and great to be around. His enthusiasm and love of Lisbon shined through. I strongly recommend Kleiber as a guide.

We did the tour with Sara and she was absolutely amazing! I did a few walking tours previous to this one in other european cities and this one was one of my favourites! Sara knew so much about the history and culture of Lisbon and she answered all our questions and even gave us her recommendations on where to eat, what is worth visting and so on. Would 100% recommend to anyone who likes to hear about history and culture and really likes to experience the city

We were not sure what to expect when we showed up to the start of our free walking tour of Lisbon. We were greeted by an enthusiast Sara . She talked of places and of history and of food and drink and of politics. She was funny and engaging as we learned of salt cod and Salazar, of ginjhina and the 1755 earthquake , of where to see Fado and where to enjoy seafood. It is a great way to learn about Lisbon and the way of life of the Portuguese people.

I've been living in Lisbon but signed up for the tour when two American friends came to town to get a sense of the history and culture of Alfama neighborhood. A few of the anecdotes I was familiar with, but there was so much more information that was new to me than I expected! Sara was a total delight and made the day super fun, and really spent a lot of time during and after sharing some of her insider knowledge. I will likely do another tour in a different area when other friends come to visit!

We had a great time being shown around Belém with our tour guide José. He was welcoming, engaging and had excellent recommendations on where and what to do in Lisbon,so we could make the most of our time and fully experience Lisbon. José was more than happy to answer any questions we had, and his obvious passion and understanding of the area made for a wonderful 3hrs. Highly recommend.

Kleiber a great guide from beginning to end. I worked with Kleiber to organize a 15 person walk tour of Lisbon. He provided a wealth of information about the history of Lisbon and was able to answer all of the questions attendees raised. We’ve enjoyed an excellent walking tour with Kleiber Bassi from “Hi Lisbon Walking Tours” in the Baixa and Chiado quarters of Lisbon; Kleiber is very thorough and has really good historical knowledge - a wonderful first introduction to Lisbon positioning the city in the historic development of the country throughout the centuries; he also followed up the same day by e-mail and provided us with additional tips for our stay (restaurants, Fado venues etc). I highly recommend doing this tour - thank you Kleiber!

Chiara is a lovely, friendly and knowledgeable guide who led a very informative, interesting tour that moved along at a nice pace. That was the best walking tour I’ve ever done. Lots of history was covered (in a way that captivated the audience), and we kept moving to see many different interesting sights (as well as lots of glittery Christmas lights & decor.....’tis the season!)

One of the best free tours I've taken in Europe. Our guide Ricardo told us a lot of history and celebrity stories of Lisbon. I also like the comics of history near the sunrise view point. Although the storm is causing a not pleasant weather, I still enjoyed the walking tour. Really recommend!
