Lisbon Traditional Boats - Express Cruise - 45min

This boat trip was excellent, all four of us enjoyed it. Our guide Mafalda was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The captain and sailor were also very friendly. We were lucky and it wasn't a busy trip, so the captain let my kids steer the rudder for a little while. Book midweek and 2:30pm tour is my advice. 45 mins was a percent length with children and being on one of the oldest boats was great. Unfortunately no wind to use the sail, but the staff can't control the weather.

Good food and drinks, reasonable prices with excellent service.

This was cancelled due to operational reasons but I was transferred to the later, 2 hour one. It was great. Good host, good wine.

This was supposed to be a 45 minute boat cruise and it ended up being an hour and a half. We only passed briefly in front of the main part of Lisbon and spent some time looking at the coast on the other side, which was nice, but then spent probably 20 minutes watching cargo boats loading. We then had to spend 25 minutes to wait to dock, which was disappointing.

Boathouse location given is not correct. Therefor paid for a tour for two, got nothing it wasted an afternoon! I have used Viator for May years in many countries but I have to rethink that going forward. Not happy!

This traditional boat is one of few still left in Lisbon. It was nice to ride a piece of Portuguese naval history. The views were of course beautiful, and you get a really stunning view of the entire skyline. it Our tour guide, Elissa, and the captain and crew, Jorge and Paulo, were exceptional. It was a comfortable trip with a lot of history and interesting facts about Lisbon sprinkled in. They did a lot to ensure our comfort, offering blankets against the wind and drinks. Their hospitality and care made this one of the highlights of our trip. I would highly recommend!! (p.s. make sure to check your email a few hours before to double check the location!)

Why take a boring old boat cruise when you can take THIS traditional, old boat cruise. Amazing views and just long enough. Loved it!

Great short boat ride to see Lisbon from the water! Totally recommend it! Te sailboat was beautiful and Elisa, Pedro and all the team super helpful and kind. We traveled with my father in law who needed assistance in and out the boat and everyone was there to give a hand!

We had a great guide on the boat and it was a great tour of the river with views of the city and other landmarks. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon!! Took a one year old and a two year old and they had a blast!

Had such a lovely time with my partner and my uncle and aunt. Elisa was a fantastic host!! She knew so much about the history and could answer all of our questions. It was a good mix of listening and sitting back and relaxing. I would definitely go for the two hour tour next time!

Our Host Elisa, was so fantastic! She knows multiple languages! (English, French, Spanish, German and of course Portugese!!) It so happed the lineup of people ahead of us where on a much larger vessel. It turned out it was just another couple, and my husband and I, along with Elisa’s crew. The crew were all very kind. Elisa, also helped us take photos as well as gave us pertinent information for our cruise. In addition, because it was just us to couples-she also gave us some privacy too. I was surprised there were not more people, but we were the beneficiaries of more space obviously! We would recommend & for sure go again. It’s a great deal!!! (Yes. I’m also a crane operator from the docks and enjoyed the views from the water) #Solidarity

A wonderful cruise. Travelling on a traditional cargo boat. Very enjoyable and a perfect day on the water. Highly recommend this tour.

A lovely hour spent on a traditonal boat. The commentary was in English and Spanish but the guide checked what nationalities were on board first. The crew were attentive and informative about any questions asked, you could have your photo taken holding the tiller. The journey went across the Tagus to the old boat building area of Lisbon and past the busy fish restaurants and ferry station.

My friend and I had such a wonderful boat ride! We thought we had missed the boat but they leave a few minutes past the printed time so we made it :) Mafalda was an incredible guide and so knowledgeable. The perfect amount of information and getting to relax. The sun was definitely very hot (we went at 2:30) so I'd recommend a hat. The crew was all so friendly and even let us take pictures where the captain stands. Would definitely recommend!

This is a ride around the harbour in an open old style boat. You are open to the weather. The trip runs from the Cruise Port up to the big bridge and back. The city of Lisbon is visible but far away. The crew are friendly and helpful. Tricky to board boat for disabled people as you have to step off the wharf and onto narrow steps all while the boat is rocking. Make sure two crew are there to hold your elbows. Nice way to spend an hour and value for money!

The Lisbon traditional boat cruise was a memorable one. Elisa the cruise guide was very good giving us guidance to the historic sites and panoramic view points. She gave explanations to all the points raised. The Captain and his Team as well as the Assistants on the Pier as well as on the boat were helpful and customer friendly. The guide was barely speaking English, then spend most of the time chatting with other passengers or on her phone.

It was nice to be on the water on a hot day. The boat was beautiful, different than regular tour boats. Our host was Elisa and she was very nice, we were also offered some wine or water.

Excellent service, views and background of the city. The tour guide Elisa is very kind. She spoke us in two languages which is good due we were from different countries. I recommend this tour.

My friend and I booked the tour day-of and it was definitely worth the price. The entire crew was great, including the woman who helped us book the tickets (I accidentally chose the incorrect time, and she very quickly fixed it for me). The guide was informative, with a wonderful voice, but also didn’t talk too much — there was plenty of time to take in the sights. All of the people manning the boat were respectful and helpful. The boat itself was really interesting to be on; the historic nature of it added to the ambiance. We really enjoyed our time and highly recommend booking this if you’re looking for a relaxing, but not overly time-consuming, trip on the water!

Perfect for a family. We took our 7 yr old and 4yr old and 45 minutes was perfect for them. Staff on the boat were fantastic. Would highly recommend.

We had a boat trip booked for 6.30 in the evening. Instructions to find the departure point could have been a little clearer but overall, as a family, we enjoyed the experience. The crew were friendly and informative.

Very friendly tour guide . We were given the opportunity to have a picture taken driving the boat and with the captain. Informative tour - was great to find out a bit more about Lisbon. Really enjoyed our boat trip. Went on the 18.30 trip which was great as the sun wasn't quite so intense. We were given water on board and a souvenir bookmark which was a nice touch. Highly recommend.

The tour was wonderful! Set on a super cute, colourful, picturesque boat, and the staff is very well prepared - the tour guide is fluent in 4 languages, and even though it was windy, we barely felt it. Definitely worth the cost!

This boat trip was so affordable and so so good, it was so lovely being on a Portuguese traditional boat. The crew were lovely and spoke about some of the cultural land marks and history which was really interesting. I would recommend going at 6:30pm like we did because the sun at that time was just beautiful!

The boat ride itself was great but no guide was present so we got treated to music and wine on board. Also there was no one at the meeting point so we almost missed getting to the cruise. Need better organization
