Our driver Marco was great! Very safe driving and went above and beyond when I left something in his vehicle - drove back immediately! We had a good amount of time to stop in each town and Marco was flexible to ensure we were able to make the most of each town.

Stops in Obidos and Nazare definitely worthwhile and enjoyable. Driver was very nice and friendly and courteous. However, his knowledge of Obidos was limited.

Absolutely incredible day. Highly recommend booking this for your transfer from Lisbon to Porto or vise versa. We were lucky to have Vasco as our driver who was very knowledgeable about everything Portugal. He had great food recommendations and our two stops were wonderful. We stopped in Óbidos and Nazaré and highly recommend both. Vasco had great recommendations for both and could answer any questions we had. Drive was great yet somehow company was even better. Vasco was our driver and we had a fantastic time! Pickup was easy and he was very insightful during our stops adding lots of local knowledge. He even took us to some not so known spots to get some of the best views of where we stopped! Would highly recommend the experience.

Overall very good and the driver was excellent. He said at the start and I agree with him in the end, a customer should be limited to 3 stops. It's too busy a day to try to fit in 4 as we did or more.

We booked a one way drive from Lisbon to Porto via the historic town of Tomar. Booking the trip was easy and the communication with Wonder Tours was very good. Our driver Luis picked us up in front of our hotel. Luis was amazing. His knowledge of Lisbon, Porto and Tomar was incredible. Great conversation and his knowledge of the history of Portugal and Europe in general was outstanding. It was like traveling with an old friend. We used Wonders Tours to travel from Lisbon to Porto, with stops in Obidos, Nazare, Fatima, and Aveiro, with four people. Everything was clearly and promptly confirmed by email from Patricia. Our driver/guide, Felipe, was 20 minutes early for our pickup (which was great), and patient and kind all day in managing the stops we wanted to make and the length of our stay at each place. His English was totally fluent and he was always precisely where he said he would be when we met back up with him. It was an ambitious day, but that was our choice. We found the tour an efficient way to see a lot, rather than just doing day trips and taking the train from Lisbon to Porto. We would absolutely recommend Wonders Tours to others.

Our driver Tiago was personable, professional, and a very good driver. We got to see some incredible small Portugal towns with absolutely no stress. It was a great option for us.

We traveled from Lisbon to Porto via Fatima and Aviera. It was a comfortable ride and the driver Mario was pleasant. We had about an hour and a half at each location.

Vasco was passionate about informing of us of Portugal’s rich history and created a lifetime memory for me and my family! Obidos , a picturesque medieval village complete with Baroque churches and astounding views from the castle. The entryway into the village is spectacular with its tiled archway and often features a musician. Next stop was World-famous for waves, Nazare. The Cliffs and their views left us awestruck. Cannot wait to visit again in the winter when the legendary waves are surfed by brave daredevils! We had the best meal we have tasted in Portugal with a view of the cliffs. The 3rd tour was Coimbre , the 11th century university with its cape-clad students and famous library. Winding down from the university were postcard worthy buildings, pedestrian squares and churches. Vasco informed us, the first king of Spain Afonso is tombed in one of the 11th century university churches we photographed. We want to re-visit and devote an entire day to Nazare and Coimbre! So much to experience. We extend such gratitude to Vasco for this phenomenal tour!

Inadequate tour guide. Inaccurate facts on Fátima and no knowledge of one of the holiest places. Very disappointing to learn that not only were his fact incorrect but he was an atheist and had little interest. I could have gotten more from a bus ride than the guide that gave us.

Mario drove us from Lisbon to Porto, turning what could have been a straightforward transfer into a full and unforgettable day on the road. Our first stop was Óbidos, a tiny medieval walled town that feels like it has barely changed in centuries — walk the ramparts, wander the cobbled lanes, and whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the local cherry liqueur served in a chocolate cup. From there we headed to Nazaré, where Mario drove us up to the clifftop viewpoint for a jaw-dropping look at the famous Atlantic waves crashing far below, before dropping us at the surf museum inside the old fort — a fascinating window into the world of big wave surfing and the extraordinary underwater canyon that makes it all possible. Our final stop before Porto was Tomar, and it may have been the most awe-inspiring of all. The Convent of Christ — built by the Knights Templar and perched on a hilltop above the town — is one of those places that stops you in your tracks, and the intricate Manueline carvings on the chapter house window are among the most extraordinary pieces of stonework you’ll ever see. Mario’s knowledge of each destination added real depth to every stop, and his relaxed, professional manner made the long drive feel effortless. We had an awesome experience with our driver Vasco who helped us to find hidden gems on our way from Lisbon to Porto. Vasco was engaging, personable, interesting and informative. We stopped at Obidos (charming village) and Nazare (surfing town), where we had an outstanding seafood lunch at a restaurant recommended by Vasco. A great way to turn your transport from Lisbon to Porto into a wonderful day tour. I highly recommend this experience

My family of 6 took the transfer trip from Lisbon to Porto. We chose to stop at Obidos, Fátima, and Tomar. We were given ample time to explore each stop and never once felt rushed. Our group included individuals in their 70s and our guide, Vasco, made sure they were comfortable throughout the trip. I highly recommend Vasco as your guide. He was genuinely kind, amusing, and accommodating. He even returned one of our lost articles the following day on his own time. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The town of Óbidos, the Sanctuary of Fatima, and the convent of Christ in Tomar were all a sight to see. Our guide gave us some insights to each one. And we were truly happy with our choice.

Excellent day! Mario was a great driver who made our transportation between Lisbon and Porto seamless. We had the ideal amount of conversation along the way as Mario shared the right amount of historical facts. He let us fully explore Obidos and didn't rush us at all. He took us for a fantastic lunch in a vibrant and yummy restaurant in Nazare after we saw the big waves, and he was patient while we enjoyed a canal boat tour in Aveiro. All around a great experience with the tour operator and specifically with Mario!

We had the worst driver during our entire 6-days travel in Portugal. He was reckless and rude. He was speeding and very unprofessional. We felt our lives were in danger especially from Coimbra to Porto. He was just tried to finished his job. Very rude! Very impatient!

Booking this experience took all the guesswork out of traveling from Lisbon to Porto. We knew we wanted to visit Nazaré along the way. Our driver Marió gave us the non-tourist, must know things about Portugal, the history and the people. He also knew exactly how to get us close to the attractions, which we would have had to figure out on our own if we had rented a car. Marió was the best guide we could have asked for, and because he is a Porto native he gave us great recommendations for when we arrived. I highly recommend this service - they also provide the service from Porto to Lisbon if that is your direction of travel.

David was very professional and a good driver. However, was disappointed and felt like I was ripped off because 1) only stopped at Nazare’, Ovidos, and Fatima instead of all the stops I paid for. David did not give us a tour and did not provide ANY information about the towns but rather “dropped us off for an hour” without any context or history, which is why ai booked this “tour”. We could have taken the train which we did on our way back from Porto to Lisbon that only cost about 90 euros instead of the 800.00 plus I paid for this “ride”. I do feel I got a bait and switch and will not recommend this to anyone.

A good way to transfer between Lisbon and Porto and to see some of the towns along the way. Luis was punctial and helpful. We particularly liked Aviero, the Venice of Portugal, which we would not have thought of visiting.

This was the first time we did a private transfer and we would do it again. Very professional service allowing us to explore more of Portugal without the hassle of renting a car ourselves. Pedro arrived early, warmly greeted us and we were on our way from Lisbon to Porto with stops in Obidos and Nazare. We enjoyed our conversations with Pedro about Portugal, the history and the economy. Pedro’s English is terrific and we had lots of laughs together. He gave us recommendations of places to go and restaurants to try in Porto. Obidos was breathtakingly beautiful-don’t miss it! Nazare was very cool to see. It was crazy windy! But Pedro was the best part of our trip. Through him, we got a glimpse of life in this beautiful country. Book the transfer. It was a fantastic day. Ask for Pedro. He’s wonderful!

Mario was great and arranging this transportation was such a good choice for us. As many travelers do, we probably try to see too much in one trip but we chose to take a drive to Obidos, Nazare and Aveiro on our way from Lisbon to Porto and it was perfect. We stopped for an hour or less in Obidos and Nazare which was just right, then stayed for a leisurely lunch in Aveiro. In total it was 8 hours but with chats with Mario along the route and free time for ourselves in each town it really was a perfect day well-spent and seemed to go by quickly. We arrived in Porto around 5pm so we still had time to explore after we checked into our hotel. Mario provided great recommendations for places to go and eat in Porto and beyond and we hope to plan another visit to Portugal soon!

What a fun day we had with Luis in our travels from Lisbon to Porto. Three stops along the way made the day very interesting. Luis provided extensive background on each city. For lunch, he took us to a fabulous local fish market we wouldn’t have discovered on our own, After the tour he took time to email a detailed list of activities in Porto. Luis goes above and beyond and was great fun to spend the day with!
