Amazing boat trip. The crew were very friendly and professional. The wine given was quality and was flowing !! I would highly recommend .thankyou
We weren't sure what to expect, as we'd seen some other boats on the river and thought it would be a bog standard tour with loads of other people, with onboard 'generic' commentary, probably recorded. We couldn't have been more wrong! The crew were really friendly and welcoming from the word go, and there were only c.15 guests onboard (which was a sailing yacht not a big touristy boat). We were treated to free-flowing wine and some snacks, as well as excellent local historical knowledge from one of the crew. He gave us information about the different landmarks and areas of the city, and having visited some of the areas, it was great to see the city from a different perspective. We also met two lovely couples from N Ireland who shared the experience with us. This cruise really surpassed our expectations and I would absolutely recommend this excursion, whatever time of year you are in Lisbon - we went right at the end of October and the sunset was still spectacular. Thank you to the crew for making it so memorable.
Very nice team who kept the wine flowing and told us lots about Lisbon. Lovely couple of hours on the water and finished with a beautiful sunset. Really glad we booked.
All of the team were friendly and made sure we enjoyed our trip! The meeting point was easy to find with clear instructions and pictures. On board we were treated to drinks and snacks. We also learnt a lot about Lisbon.
Highly recommend the sunset trip, it's a great way to see Lisbon from the river.
Incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon. Our guides were knowledgeable, professional, and easygoing. The wine and snacks were local and delicious and we loved learning about the origins of Lisbon while discovering the history of the shoreline.
Exceptional and would highly recommend. Awesome crew who spent time explaining the history of Lisboa. Drinks flowed the whole trip and was very enjoyable. I am sure there are other good cruises but I believe it would be hard to find one better.
Very friendly staff. Hospitable. Enjoyed the sailing and the scenery. Jane explained so much about the history. Would highly recommend
Great tour! We had the boat to ourselves, what a treat, so glad they didn't cancel. This was a relaxing cruise with good snacks and wine. And a great crew! We would definitely do this tour again!
BE CAREFUL! I know for a FACT that not all local taxis can find the meeting point for this tour. We were dropped off at the wrong marina and, by the time we walked to the correct one, the tour operator had left and made no attempt to refund our fees. They did not provide proper street address for a taxi or Uber to follow.
Very enjoyable time on the boat, host was informative and very easy to talk with. Definitely recommend an evening sail and drinks with the crew.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. The food, drinks, history and boat trip was exactly what we wanted on our short trip. Would highly recommend for couples
Informative guides with nice drinks and snacks. We had a great time and we can't find anything to complain about.
Great overall experience beverages were flowing well. Non alcoholic drinks seemed to be a little sparse but the overall experience was excellent, a beautiful night. We saw a group of dolphins swimming during the trip which was unexpected. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent activity. 18 people max, so not crowded. The hosts went beyond expectations, providing drinks, snacks and local knowledge throughout the trip. The vibe was chilled and very relaxing. I would highly recommend Urban Sailors, bravo.
Absolutely amazing experience ❤️ Crew were fantastic so friendly and knowledgeable Drinks were free flowing totally worth money
It was excellent !!! Nothing more I can say
An incredible experience with Felipe and his crew. Everyone was so friendly and SUPER attentive. I can’t recommend this boat tour enough — it’s an absolute must when visiting Lisbon!
Do not miss this tour. Amazing experience with the best hosts. The snacks and drinks were plenty and good. The sunset was beautiful. The fee is very fair, and the trip is 2hrs. There was a lot space on the boat, and it was not crowded at all.
Really good Lisbon small group sunset boat cruise. The Urban Sailors people were friendly, informative, and took time to talk with everyone. An excellent experience!
Our sailboat trip was relaxing and enjoyable. The crew were accommodating and welcoming. Overall, it was a very pleasant outing!
Thank you, Jade, Filipe and Rui, for the thoroughly enjoyable experience! Wonderful companions, lively music, Portuguese snacks, wine and cocktails, and the magic of Tagus river at sunset created a perfect atmosphere. We will be back!
My friend and I visited Lisbon for our birthday and decided to book the Day Boat Cruise Tour. The Captain and Jade provided us with local drinks and a historic tour of the City. Jade was knowledgeable about the history and even recommended a local Restaurant "Sabores da Rielle" for us to enjoy a birthday dinner.
What a fantastic way to spend our last evening in Lisbon. A very comfortable boat with a friendly, funny and very informative crew. The drinks flowed as we sailed up and down the river taking in the sights and soaking up the atmosphere as the sun went down
If I could give 12/10 I would! Captain Philipe and Santiago were absolute gems 💎 Friendly, informative and relaxed.
I cannot recommend this particular tour enough. The boat and guides in the cruise were phenomenal. They provided a variety of local drinks, snacks, and great conversation! The cruise is slow and steady with fun facts about Lisbon along the way. You can meet other visitors, or just sit and relax while taking in the view. The sunset at the end was the perfect ending to the ride. I would do this tour daily if I had the time and hope I can come back and do it again. Absolutely spectacular! 100 stars!
We really enjoyed our boat tour! The staff was very nice, the boat had a good pint of guests (not too crowded), and the drinks were very yummy. It was a birthday gift for our friend and she loved it. The Jack Johnson music was the perfect touch. Highly recommend!
This was an excellent river cruise. We got to sail a bit and enjoy the thrill of some waves. There were also very relaxing moments chilling on deck. The perfect combo with wine flowing and small bites as the sun went down. Our guides were fantastic and gave us some really interesting history of the area too!
Great boat, drinks, and guide. And a very good value!
The crew and everyone were just spectacular….highly recommended!!!!
Well organized with friendly and enthusiastic staff. Delicious food and drinks. Beautiful views
An outstanding tour! We booked last minute and we were so pleased. The crew was excellent! Snacks and many drinks served along with a history lesson. There was plenty of room on the boat and also a bathroom. This was definitely a highlight of Lisbon. Don’t forget to tip!
It was amazing. Santiago Bruno and Philip are wonderful. They made sure everybody was included and kept us entertained; they explain everything and gave us information on the different historical places that we passed. And we never had an empty glass; the drinks kept coming 😂😂
Perfect smaller boat. Nice welcome drinks. Beautiful sunset last night going out and back under Bridge. Very knowledgeable crew of two with good sense of humor ! Would definite go again. The departure location is actually easier to find than the instructions you receive
This was the perfect way to wrap up our trip in Lisbon! We enjoy taking boat rides when traveling to see the city from another perspective and we’ve taken quite a few so it’s high praise when I say this was our favorite! The crew was amazing- professional, fun, silly, attentive, personable, informative and extremely charismatic! Filipe was a great captain, and Santiago, his step son, gave good history and background about Lisbon and Portugal (while also giving us enough time to relax on our own). We didn’t realize that it was a family business but it made it all the better! The meeting spot is at a van, where they will check you in. There are toilets behind the gate to the boats and they can let you in to use the toilets. There is also one on the boat but use the one on the dock if you prefer a non-moving bathroom! They started with a welcome drink, then a choice between a few different types of wine, then ended with a last drink. They kept the wine flowing and offered to take photos for the guests. We were resting up against where the captain’s window was and Santiago thoughtfully offered us a pillow to rest our heads on and to prop ourselves up. We were also served a few warm little snacks on board- some of which were enjoyable than some pastry shops we tried. The sunset was gorgeous and there was plenty of space on board to roam around. The route took us to Praça do Comércio, then promptly turned around and headed to the sights in Belém, then back to the dock. Not sure if boats are allowed to go past where we went (we only saw one boat past), but it would have been cool to see Alfama from the water. It did last a little more than the 2 hours and we’re so glad it did! We got to steer the boat which was a super special experience! They were also taking requests for music which was nice! Towards the end of the ride, everyone was feeling great and super comfortable and relaxed. It could have either been the wine, or the comfortable atmosphere on board, or both! I was between this booking and a couple others, but if I’d known how wonderful the hosts were and that it was family run, I would have easily picked this one and I would recommend you book it as well! We’re making a recommendations list for Lisbon for family and friends who plan to visit, and this experience is definitely at the top of the list! Tips: come early so everyone can leave on time. There are two chairs up at the front of the boat so walk quickly if you want to snag those. Bring a light jacket in case it gets chilly, and a hair tie or clip you have long hair. Wear comfortable, flat shoes. And bring some cash to tip the crew!
We wanted to book a cruise that wasn't the usual 'pack them in' type of experience. This certainly met our brief. Urban Sailors contacted us on the day with all the details we needed including photos to help us find their meeting point which proved to be really helpful. We were led to a beautiful boat, all the crew were very chatty and pleasant and genuinely seemed to enjoy making the experience a pleasant one - during the cruise we were wined and dined and really looked after. The cruise was 2 hours long and we were able to take some great pictures of the beautiful sunset, we really enjoyed the cruise as it felt like we were sailing with friends - highly recommended to all with fantastic views of all Lisbon has to offer - you won't regret it!
Incredible experience! The staff was so friendly, the drinks and the food were excellent and the view breathtaking! Thank you for making my trip to Lisbon a memorable one!
This experience was one of the highlights of our trip. Glass was never empty and the guides were great at providing facts and answering questions. Very comfortable boat.
Very nice crew with whom we had pleasant conversations and received delicious drink and snacks. Would definitely revisit the tour if I come back to Lissabon.
All the crew were so friendly! Very kind and informative on the knowledge of the area. They made us feel at home and supplied good atmosphere. Even though it was quite windy when we went, they still were keeping spirits up and gave us a good laugh. It didn’t feel like we were on the water for 2 hours! It flew by. The boat wasn’t over packed. And the crew members were happy to wait for us to arrive after getting stuck in traffic on the way (due to first uber cancelling). One of the staff members even offered us a lift further into Lisbon as we were experiencing issues with getting an uber back. We politely declined as our second uber was now only 2 mins away. But it was very considerate of him. It is a little expensive but if you’re on holiday, it’s a wise thing to save up for.
This was an outstanding deal. Very reasonable prices that included a two hour cruise with great commentary on all notable sights along the river. All the while, they provided three tasty snacks and multiple rounds of drinks. First mate Santiago welcomed us from the beginning and throughout the voyage as if a friend. Captain Phillipe was terrific and also provided commentary and drinks. Phenomenal experience.
Absolutely wonderful experience. I'd highly recommend anyone to book this sunset cruise.
Great experience-Tiago was knowledgable, friendly and attentive- topping up wine, offering to take photos, timing for the stories. They offer a lot more types of drinks than other tours and even the three snacks are very delicious. Highly recommend.
This is hands down the best boat tour we’ve ever done (and we’ve done a lot). There was a perfect blend of humor, history, and hospitality. We learned about the places we sailed past and the guys were so much fun to just chat with. They went above and beyond making sure no one’s glass was ever empty and the snacks were a pleasant little treat. The boat was very comfortable and the timing was perfect. Thank you Santiago, Bruno, and Felipe!
We had an amazing time! Bruno was very informative. Entire experience was well worth the time, and delightful!!
Attentive, knowledgeable and fun team who were also respectful and kind to passengers young and old. A highlight of our stay in Lisbon. Thank you Santiago and crew.
The boat cruise was excellent. They were VERY generous with the drinks (there was never an empty glass) and the snacks were a lovely bonus. The sunset, view and sites visited were all beautiful and that alone made it worth the money. Our guides, particularly Santiago, were amazing, chatty and informative and helped make the 2 hour experience truly special. Our favourite thing we did in Lisbon!
First class trip, extremely friendly knowledgeable crew, great fun, drinks and nibbles all the way, small intimate group, space for everyone to lay back and take in the sights, worth every penny, highly recommend!
Incredible trip on the boat. The vinho and drinks were flowing, snacks were great, and the crew were all wonderful, informative, and funny. All in all would recommend to anyone!
