Loved this tour. Amazing street art, and excellent guide. We got to see some new projects being made, which was great.

This tour was led by 2 members of a street art group. They were incredible documenters of street art in the city and its role in community building and social protest. We saw the city from a new perspective while learning about many social forces that have shaped it. The art was beautiful and quite varied. It was one of the highlights of the trip. You should know that the tour is long and requires a fair amount of walking. You could certainly leave early but would miss some of the most striking murals. Thanks for an amazing experience
Great guides and amazing art. Worth every minute and penny to go!
Fabulous tour. Very informative ! Diago was interesting, friendly and funny. If you enjoy walking and the different techniques of street art this is for tou
An amazing guide and tour! This tour not only showcased all the amazing street artist in Lisbon, it really explained the importance of the community and its place in the city and the art world. I’ve traveled a lot but this 3 1/5 hour tour is on my top 5 experiences.
My friends and I really enjoyed this tour in that we got to see parts of Lisbon we had not explored yet and learned some of the current and past political issues within Lisbon. Also, the art was dramatic and thought provoking. Our tour guide was very patient especially when we were late to the meeting point in spite of very clear instructions! The spray painting of a bag was such fun as well!
Loved this tour! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, not just about the artists, styles, and mediums, but also about the cultural, social, and political context behind the work. It's also a fantastic way to explore some of Lisbon's lesser-known neighborhoods! Highly recommend!
Very interesting tour, learnt a lot of good facts from 2 passionate guides. Saw lots of really cool and creative muruals that you would never find on your own. Definitely worth doing, it is also a good way to explore more local, sometimes gritty, neighborhoods in Lisbon. You do have a lot of hilly walking to do (3-4 hours) so wear comfortable footwear and bring a water bottle.
One of our best days in Lisbon! Our guide Vero was friendly, passionate about street art, and very knowledgeable. We saw some fantastic wall painting and photography we would have missed if not for the tour. Highly recommended
AWESOME tour with Vero. Saw so much that I never would have noticed let alone understood. She kept the group moving but was sensitive to those of us who wanted "one last look" at something before going on to the next. Absolutely recommend even if you have to leave your injured partner to their own devices for a few hours (like I did) to do so.
I had a great time on this tour. Our guide, Vero was amazing. She was one of the artists herself and was knowledgeable and entertaining. She knew the stories behind the art and the artists and never stopped showing us a variety of street art. I would recommend Vero and her tour to anyone!
This was an engaging and a very unique tour. Not only can you see spots in the city that a basic tour will miss, you also learn about rich street art history of Lisbon from artists themselves. Vero, our guide, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic with such attention to even smallest detail, that the whole experience felt easy and dynamic.
The guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. We saw amazing art, learned about the history, politics, and techniques behind the artwork - from a local artist! So valuable. There was a cute and very calm dog with us, too.
Fun tour looking at and learning about sreet art, the artist and the street art culture. We had a terrific guide and the art was amazing! Loved the whole tour.
This was a great tour. Friendly interpreter. Interesting subject. The walk was not too strenuous. Highly recommended.
We had such an incredible time with Vero. The street art in Lisboa was simply incredible. Vero was so informed and passionate and we loved learning that she also is a huge reason that the street art community in Lisbon is so vibrant. We also saw so many parts of the city that we never would’ve seen otherwise. I could not recommend this tour enough. Won’t add pictures so that you get to enjoy it yourself when you book!! (Ps. You should book). The price was so reasonable and seriously after experiencing the vision of Vero’s collective we would happily invest more. We did run over time but only because we were having so many chats and asking lots of questions (which Vero was also very informed to answer). LOVE LOVE LOVE
Our guide Zizi was fantastic. She revealed a lot of information regarding the street art and the art culture in Lisbon. We also learned valuable insights on the city’s history and the older neighborhoods like Graça and Alfama. We will be back for more. Thanks Zizi.
The street art tour was fantastic - frankly the best tour we have ever done. Make sure you can walk steep hills and stairs and it’s a solid 4 hours. Absolutely fabulous!
Our guide was amazing. She was so passionate and knowledgeable. It was a really interesting tour and we saw things we never would’ve seen before. She was very engaging and passionate about what she did and we really enjoyed it.
Fun and informative walking tour is Lisbon street art. Diego was very informative and passionate. I enjoyed the tour and took tons of photos!
Excellent tour and experience! Our guide is a local artist and their knowledge & experience made the tour that much more spectacular. Do not miss this tour!!! Excellent!!!
Amazing experience family with kids 9/6 and they enjoyed it!
The tour was great! Diogo was super nice and informative! I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about street art in Lisbon and discover beautiful pieces around the city! :)
It was a very informative tour and family friend. Pace was perfect for our kids. Learned a lot about Lisbon street art and even got to meet one of the street artists by chance. Would recommend if you are into art or want to learn about street art in Lisbon.
The Lisbon Street Art Tour was a terrific way to experience the city and learn more about the history of the beautiful street art. I came to Lisbon first ~4yrs ago and loved all the murals and art throughout the city. This walking tour was a wonderful way to go a bit deeper and it was especially wonderful to learn that the walking tour helps to support the efforts of https://yesyoucanspray.com/ who have helped to bring some of the beautiful art to Lisbon's streets.
Excellent - so informative on many fronts - a real introduction to the wonders of street art. Saw many neighborhoods and streets of Lisbon I hadn’t previously seen
Very inspiring and highly recommendable.
Fantastic walking tour. Great pace and perspective from our tour guides. As artists themselves, they had a superb perception of the Lisbon street art scene. Obviously the stars were the two dogs that accompanied us! I fell in love with little Billy <3
Incredible street art tour in Lisbon!’
5 stars to our guide and tour for being informative, pleasant and passionate about street art and community in Lisbon
Special thanks for the guide 🙏🔆 ... it was a lovely interesting tour to wonderful hidden places. I'm appriciate for the small group. sunny greetings from Germany
Guide is a member of the artist community and very knowledgeable about the works visited. Overall a wonderful tour of an often under appreciated art form.
We had a lovely tour with Diogo and his sweet dog Billy yesterday. Diogo is an artist and was so knowledgeable. He told us about how street art intersects with local life. LIsbon has changed greatly over the past 10 years and he taught us about life then and now. IF you’re looking for something a little off the beaten path I’d highly suggest this tour. There is amazing street art all over the city.
Thiago and Billy (his cute and very good dog) is an artist and apart of a local and prominent art collective in Lisbon which meant we got to learn about the story and culture of both mural art and graffiti writing in Lisbon. Very cool! Thiago points out different techniques, tells you about all the respective artists background and story of the pieces. Also we got off the beaten tourist path and away from the busy neighborhoods which was very nice. So fun and we would recommend it…just bring good shoes and be prepared for the hills of Lisbon!!
We made the grand tour through Mouraria and Graca and enjoyed it very much. Our guide (sadly i can't remember her name) was perfect informed and part of the street art scene as well. The 3,5 hours felt much shorter, cause the stories and pieces of art were compelling. Best about the tour was its impact on our way to see the city. We did the tour not on out first days and find us seeing the city different afterwards. On the days after the tour we found more and more pieces of art (like small blue azulejos with eyes on it everywhere in the city) in other places in the city. It changed our viee on lisbon for the better. As it is a walking tour and lisbon is quite hilly, it is better to be light on your feet. But we also had a couple with their son in a baggy, which also worked. Our guide was nice and gave them extra time to come back to the group when walking steep stairs or longer ways.
We had a great experience on this tour. Our guide was so dynamic and informed and brought her background in anthropology to really enrich the scenes which she explained so well. The tour was over four hours so we really got our money’s worth!
What a great tour!! this was by far the best tour I did in Lisbon. It was so interesting and I saw areas that I may not have visited otherwise. Having Billy (the dog) along for the walk was also a special treat. I highly recommend this tour and I love that it supports the artists.
This tour with Diogo was one of the best street art tours I've taken. He's part of the artists' collective that has produced many of the neighborhood's mural projects, so he is knowledgeable about the local art and the neighborhood's history and challenges. He also speaks perfect English. The tour also included beautiful murals and incredible views of Lisbon. The walk is mainly on flat terrain, with only a couple of short climbs.
An amazing 4-hour street art walking tour with a fantastic local artist, down tiny back streets and hidden spaces, filled with history, artist info and Lisbon background. An amazing way to learn about the city and see things you would otherwise miss 🖼️👌
We had a great time, learned A LOT about Lisbon neighborhoods, and saw a bunch that we otherwise would never have found. Just like the rest of Lisbon, be advised that you WILL walk up some stairs. It isn’t too bad. At B
Luisa was incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming and engaging. The tour was a great way to get to know the city and the history outside of the main tourist sites. Highly recommend. You will be walking up some hills but there are frequent breaks to view murals so it’s not all at once.
Erica was a perfect guide. One of the best experiences we had in Lisbon. Don't miss this one.
This was actually the third time I‘d done this tour - the scene is always changing - but the first time with the founder, Véro, which was extra special. Fascinating and fun, with a diverse Crew of visitors, loved it!
What a nice day! One of a kind tour with a passionate guide. If you want to visit Lisbona differently, this is the answer. Thanks Vero for the dive into Lisbona history and amazing street art. Thanks for your energy, enthusiasm and Good Vibes.
Great tour with knowledgeable guides who were enthusiastic and showed us some of the street art and history of street art and graffiti across Lisbon.
Diogo and his assistant, Billy, delivered an exceptional and insightful street art tour. His depth of knowledge—spanning artistic techniques, individual artists, and the broader cultural significance of street art—was truly impressive. Diogo thoughtfully explored the delicate balance between creative expression and respecting the communities in which artists work, adding meaningful context to everything we saw. What stood out even more was Diogo’s professionalism and composure. During an unexpected encounter with a group of pickpockets, he handled the situation calmly, confidently, and with authority, ensuring the safety and comfort of everyone in the group. His quick thinking allowed the tour to continue seamlessly, and it was clear that all participants felt reassured and appreciative. Diogo also highlighted the intentional efforts of his collective to promote greater diversity in the street art world, including actively supporting and showcasing female artists from around the globe. This added an inspiring and socially conscious dimension to the experience. I highly recommend joining one of Diogo’s tours—it is both enriching and memorable from start to finish.
Nice tour with many insides about the local paintings but without any info about street art away from paintings. We loved it!
Excellent tour to learn about local culture and go through alleys that we don’t know to explore
This was a fascinating way to see parts of Lisbon we wouldn’t have found ourselves. Great guide who gave us an in-depth look at Lisbon’s street art scene and Portuguese culture.
Excellent tour. We were lucky to have Louisa (Zizi) as our guide; she is herself an artist and well connected to the community of artists she was showing us. Nice long walk through Mouraria and Graça, neighborhoods we hadn't explored before.
